The thing I most enjoyed about my visit with Doctor Ryan is how he wasn't pushy for me to get all this work done. He told me what my issues were and what would need to be done to fix it. He then worked hard to get it all done in one visit so I wouldn't have to reschedule for a return visit to finish the job, which with my work schedule would have been a hassle. I'm a believer in the fact that Dentist visits are important but should be quick, easy, and infrequent (obviously every six months but with no hassle in between). They have TVs with Bluetooth headsets so you can watch a movie while they work on you so it is a nice distraction. They also have blankets if you get cold. I was worried that my insurance wouldn't cover the nitrous oxide, but it is complimentary so that was a bonus. I didn't feel any pain at all when I was getting my crown today. Every time I've been at the dentist previously there has always been some level of discomfort, but I was comfortable the whole time at Dr. Matthews' office. Dr. Matthews and his assistant asked multiple times if I was doing okay. When I got my teeth cleaned a couple of weeks ago my hygienist, Kelly, was amazing. She has been there for 30 years! She was so nice and didn't make me feel stupid for not flossing as much as I should. I'm usually terrified of the hygienists because they talk down to you and make you feel bad because you're not as good at brushing your teeth and flossing as you'd like to be. It wasn't like that at all at this office though. Dr Matthews' office also has other great staff. Carrie is very knowledgable with all the insurance stuff and helps you understand the out-of-pocket cost and helps to maximize your insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Matthews.
