As you can see from the pictures the top of all 4 windows of my vehicle were not touched. He had the keys and was able to roll them down to be cleaned, he just didn't i guess. The passenger side glove box still has visible dirt/ dust marks. There are many small circular liquid specs on my center console and dashboard. Grease/ liquid marks on the back door. His 400$ detail also includes the engine bay to be cleaned but he thought that mine was "clean enough already" so he told me he skipped that part all together, still making the price out to be $400. I don't think that was the right thing to do. There was really nothing special about this detail compared to the standard $250 detailing in my opinion.

I did a lot of research on products and applicators and kept coming back to Detail Boss and Ceramic Pro products. Chris and his brother Christian couldn't have been any better to deal with. When I stopped by to see their shop and look at some examples of the work they do, Chris was extremely helpful in explaining the process and showing me their work. As you would hope, their shop is immaculate and very well lit. They sent me a quote with several options to help manage the cost that evening. I was able to schedule my truck and they had me in and out in two days! That's right, two days! At my request, they communicated with me while they had my truck by periodically sending me pictures with updates as they were working on my truck. It was hard to imagine that a truck with less than 200 miles on it could look any better but it does. The color is deeper, the shine is off the charts and the finish feels like ice... it looks incredible. Did I mention it was done in two days? In one morning and out the next afternoon. When I picked it up, they walked me around the truck and went over everything they did to it and talked me through the dos and don'ts on how to care for it. Finally, that evening they followed up by sending me information with their recommendations for products to care for my truck's finish such as shampoo, mitts, towels, etc. Chris and Christian are artists at their craft. They are serious about providing not only a quality product but a great customer experience. They are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. I totally think they get a kick out of seeing their customer's reactions to their vehicles when they see them. They told me they would be able to remove them. They set me up with an appointment two days later, and their detailer showed up at my residence perfectly on time, how convenient. A rarity these days in the service industry unfortunately. Nick came, and with an air of confidence, told me that he would get rid of the swirl marks left all over the car by the dealer. He immediately went to work on the car, and a couple to a few hours later, the car was shining and all the buffer swirl marks were gone. The interior was cleaned and vacuumed also. I highly recommend Race Day, as someone that has used them, and will use them again.

I'll be honest my car wasn't a mess but I can tell the attention to detail they put into the car. Even my mats are looking younger! It was easy to book an appointment (I believe the service requested/booked the "Rally Sport" which is their inside detailing), they were communicative and even early. Them coming to you puts you at ease not being stranded somewhere else. I really appreciated them asking if any spots needed attention. This is money well worth spent. Bill uses high-quality materials, he used Suntek for my 30% tint and made sure it was legal to drive in California (since I'm not too well-versed in car detailing and legal window tint shades at all). For the 7-year/lifetime ceramic coating, Bill used Opticoat Pro Plus over the body of my car, which has an amazingly smooth and glossy finish. He recommended Opticoat Glass Pro ceramic coating for my windshield and windows as well (to prevent high-speed rock damages on the freeway), which I happily agreed to get. I really appreciated all of Bill's thoughtful recommendations, especially knowing the weather up in the Bay Area where I'm originally from. All of these customizations together cost $1998, which is far less than what I had been quoted by certain shops back in the Bay. Also Bill's turn around time for coating and curing the car was less than 2 days for everything, whereas I had been quoted over a week back in the Bay (and with a much longer commute from where I live!) For the quality of service, details, and kind customer service, I'd recommend any friend in Arizona to go on over and visit Bill for detailing and work - 11/10! It also had watermarks on the faux suede inserts in the seats. I recently took it to Crystal Clear to find out if there was anything I could do short of a repaint. They told me they could do a "paint correction" and they felt the seats should clean up fairly well. They gave me a price and we scheduled it for 2 days this week. I picked the car up yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the results. It looks like a new car and they charged me a reasonable price!

I had some cosmetic damage to my car from a…read moreleaky pipe in the parking garage where I work, and I went to Scott to see if a detailing would take care of it or if the panel needed to be completely repainted. He took out his power washer and buffer on the spot and got almost all of it off right then and there in about 5 minutes, then explained what it would take to really get the rest of the staining off, with a decent quote to do the whole car. I had the property manager of my work building call him to pay for the service, then Scott got me scheduled on a weekend, picked up my car first thing in the morning, drove it to his shop for the job, and drove it back when he was done. He was very communicative and honest, quick to respond to my texts, and knows his stuff. When he brought my car back looking almost brand new, I fell in love with her all over again. Scott walked me through everything he did, recommended how to keep it looking nice, also pointed out how the paint on the hood is beginning to suffer some micro cracks from this awful heat and what to do about it. He also noted an oily residue on the engine that he couldn't completely get rid of and advised I might want to ask a mechanic about it just in case. Scott does good work, he's easy to talk to, punctual, and knows what he's doing. For the work he did and in this kind of heat, I'd say it would be worth every penny even if I'd been spending it myself. I'm going to want to have this done again next year, I know that for sure. The prices I was quoted ranged from $1000-$2000. Kyle's quote was one of the more reasonable quotes I received. However, the thing that impressed me the most was his attention to detail. He told me exactly what he was going to do and what each part of the job was going to cost This was by far the most professional quote I received, and if I have the opportunity to do so will definitely call Kyle at Canyon Auto Cosmetics to perform the task.
