The Formula G team is there for you. They do amazing work. I had gone on a forest road near Sedona, and picked up some minor clear coat scoring on both sides of my vehicle. I was visiting Scottsdale and planned to leave town a couple days later. The team took my project on despite a very busy schedule and got it done the next day. Not only did they work me in to a busy schedule, but they dropped me off and picked me up when the work was done. The vehicle looked like new. Great work! Great people!
I needed a spoiler installed on my 2016 Ford Mustang GT, and DynoComp recommended Formula G. I gave them a call for a quote, and they asked for me to come in so they could take a look at the vehicle and spoiler. The shop is clean; the staff is friendly and professional, gave me a tour, and explained their services. The quote was very reasonable, and scheduling was easy. I had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, and it was super easy to get a hold of them and reschedule by phone, email, or text. On the installation day, I dropped off my car, made it super simple, fast and correctly installed.I will recommend them to anyone who needs auto detailing, wrapping, tinting, and other miscellaneous services. I have used this company Get Formula G Twice now. I had them vinyl wrap a 2013 Tesla Mode S satin dark grey which turned out great unfortunately I ended up totaling my Tesla and bought a 2019 Tesla Model 3 which they ended up wrapping satin rising sun which turned out horrible a lot of miss cuts / wrap hanging out I had to bring my Tesla back to get refixed as it was still under warranty . I recently decided to unwrap the Tesla because I'm currently selling it and there are ALOT of cuts they used adhesive which actually made the paint peel when I was getting it unwrapped I would highly suggest not going to this company down below will pictures of the wrap/convo with Chris the owner of get formula G I will not be recommending anyone here anymore.

He and his team of professional installers specialize in vehicle wraps, custom tires/wheels, stereo, tint, clear bras, detailing, vehicle alterations, lifts, exhausts, etc. We had Chris and his team wrap my wife's 2012 Durango and change it from the everyday white to 3M Matte Metallic Cherry with the chrome delete package and satin black roof and grill. BUYER BEWARE of DECEIVER: My consumer experience with Chris and formula G was full of deceit, lies and deception from the very beginning. Chris's pitch from the get go was that of a big-time scammer. He greeted me with a big smile and pitched me VIP treatment and how he's moving me to the front because I was important. Chris described how great my cars were going to look and that the wrap would be strong and done to perfection on my Tesla and that the paint protection film on my Maybach would also be done to perfection. However, it was all a deceitful misrepresentation just to reel me in and get my money. And it worked because Chris can be very convincing with his nice guy routine and that is why I feel the need to place this review on yelp and warn everybody. I will also be placing a review on Google and a video on YouTube. I only went to Chris because he was recommended to me by somebody at Mercedes-Benz where I bought my 2022 Maybach. What a big mistake! EXTREMELY BAD SLOPPY SERVICE: Chris agreed to do full body wrap on my 2020 Tesla model X long-range and full body paint protection on my 2022 Mercedes Maybach. Chris messed up both my cars. Three days after I got my Tesla back paint was coming off the letters that spelled Tesla. He left big, long streaks on the back window of my Mercedes Maybach. A week after I got my Tesla back the wrap was peeling off from numerous corners of the car and other parts of the car such as both mirrors. A bunch of bubbles started popping up all over the place, especially the mirrors. Bubbles were popping up on my Mercedes too and these bubbles could not be repaired and the whole section of the car would have to be redone. Chris failed to have the paint protection cover numerous parts of my Mercedes Maybach which is a $250,000 car. You will see all of this in the attached photos. it was just terrible bad work with no regard for the customer. NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND WITHOUT CARE: When I showed Chris photos of the paint coming off my car and photos of the wrap coming apart within one week of completion, Chris just shrugged it off and said that's normal. Of course it is not normal. Its just extremely bad work. Chris gave me back my Tesla filthy and dirty. The inside was never detailed as was part of the package I paid for. When I mentioned this to Chris, he just looked at the inside of my car and shrugged it off telling me how hard his people worked. No accountability at all even when the terrible work is right in front of him. Chris should not be detailing cars and he certainly should not be detailing luxury cars. DETAILED PHOTOS - I can talk all day about the terrible service I received from Chris and formula G but the best way to warn everyone is to show detailed photos. I could only fit so many photos but the wrap on my Tesla is coming off all over the car and Chris failed to cover over a dozen parts of my Mercedes Maybach. This will be shown on the video that I will be posting soon. Anyway, you can get an idea of his work by looking at these photos.
For the love of god, do not give these guys your money or business. The following is a shortened version of all the issues I had. Every step of the way there was poor communication. Every time they said they would do something, they failed to deliver on it. I was given endless excuses and no attempt to make things right other than to keep my truck longer. After initially meeting Chris (owner) and Tyler (general manager) on October 29th I picked some colors but told them I was not in a rush to get the truck wrapped. Over the following two weeks Tyler texted me multiple times to check when I could pay my 50% deposit. I paid my deposit on Nov 14th I had to follow up 4 separate times between Nov 15th and Nov 27th week before I got an answer when they could put me on their schedule. They had to ask me 3 separate times what colors I wanted. Scheduled start was Dec 11th with the wrap taking 5 days. On Dec 13th I stopped by the shop 3 times between 10:30am and 1:30pm to check on the progress and grab something out of my truck. No one was there all day, Chris and Tyler both did not answer multiple calls and texts. At this point I was getting more concerned as there were a lot of red flags starting to pop up. Finally around 4pm Tyler called me and apologized saying he didn't have his phone on him or he was just getting back to his phone and acted confused that no one was there. On Thursday Dec 14th I stopped by at 1pm to check on the progress and Tyler was just beginning to disassemble the truck for the wrap. Not one section of the wrap had been done yet. My truck sat in their shop for 3 days untouched. Every time I asked a question I was given an excuse that didn't add up. Friday morning Chris told me the truck would be done between 5:30-6pm. I texted Chris at 4:21pm to ask if the truck would still be done by 6pm. At 5:30pm he finally responded and told me he had to drive to Mesa to "pick up a few things for them to finish the truck" and explicitly told me "I want you to know we are not rushing and we're installing normal as possible". I again asked him when the truck would be done and his response was "tonight" and didn't give me a time. After more excuses I decided to wait until Saturday to pick it up. He said it would be ready at 10am and when I arrived to the shop at 10:13am and no one was there. When Chris did finally arrive he didn't acknowledge me, didn't open the door and let me in, instead I stood outside the front door with no clue what was going on for another 10 minutes before finally pulling around the front with my truck at 10:25am. The truck was dusty and had not been cleaned and while I began walking around the truck Chris went inside to get a vacuum and spray bottle to clean it. The invoice specifically stated "Full body exterior/interior detail" as well as "Wheel and engine bay detail". None of this was done, in fact the only wash the truck got was from Cobblestone down the street because they left a blue rag from there in the bed of the truck. I walked around the truck and pointed out all the issues but did not want these guys to have my truck any longer. There were bubbles and dirt under the wrap and his told me they would "settle" after a few days. The wrap was already peeling in some areas, body panels were not removed so you can see the body paint on the seems. My backup camera and passenger door handle no longer function. I now need to pay for my backup camera and door to be fixed as well as have a new wrap installed. I reached out to Chris to ask for a refund because I had no confidence in giving them my truck again to fix any of these issues and I was highly unsatisfied with the wrap. His response was "NO REFUNDS". I wish their pricing was at least cheap so I could say this is what I get for trying to save money but for $4554 this company was an absolute joke to do business with. For the love of god, do not give these guys your money or business.

The Metallic Grey paint on my got Chevy Cruze needed some serious help. 4 years of owning it and only automatic car washes and waxed once by someone else. Had so many scratches, swirls and a foggy look on the car. Since the first contact with Formula G, everyone at this place was super cool. Had great customer service, constant communication about my car and actually did quality work. I went there with the intention of wanting to just do a basic Ceramic Wax (#2 option) and left with the better option of the Ceramic Polish (#4 option) and I'm glad I did. What a difference it made. The hood, roof and trunk lid were so bad before. Now the paint is so much of a deeper dark color, definitely noticeable that there are 90% less surface damage. Oh and this place does so much more than just detailing, I got educated on everything they do. Ask them if they can do it, see if Chris says they don't. I will be coming back and bringing more vehicles in the future. read more

I'm going to let the pics do most of the talking. There is honestly too much to go into so I'll try to keep it short. But the pics should be validation enough to avoid Formula G at all costs. We got out Model X Plaid wrapped by these guys initially in Sept of 2022 in a dark grey brushed metallic wrap (see pics of the stretch marks and streaks). The completed job came out like total garbage and resulted in me spending the better part of the next 4 months trying to get them to replace or repair their horrible install. Not to mention they also painted my brake calipers which resulted in the car having to be towed over to Tesla because they somehow disconnected the brakes sensors not allowing the car to be driven. After about 4 months of fighting them and hearing their BS about claiming the wrap material was defective and blaming 3M, I finally got them to agree to replace the wrap with something else in February of this year. 3M stated it was installer error and had one of their engineers confirm. Rather than have them rewrap in this color again, we agreed to proceed with a different color that they had in stock. Unfortunately, this install was even worse than the initial! Within a month there was massive curling and peeling (See pics of the white pearl wrap)....not to mention the piece work that was done on the rear view mirrors. I thought it was a joke to actually hand the car back to the customer like this. The worst part was when I went to show them, they said that was how rear view mirrors are wrapped!!! Needless to say, and like the 1st encounter with the previous wrap attempt, I was only wasting my time talking with them as they would literally throw every BS response they could think of. On top of this, I paid $800 for a ceramic coating which was NEVER done. But spending the next month trying to schedule with them and leaving my car for another full week (just for ceramic coating) isn't worth the hassle of dealing with Formula G. I honestly think Chris thinks his customers are stupid and not able to verify the crap he says. After bringing the Dark grey wrap to his attention, Chris had me meet him and another guy who claimed to be his "Business Partner" at about 10pm at this Formula G location. This "Business Partner" tried to convince me that it was the Tesla paint that had ripples and was causing the wrap to ripple. That was probably the biggest load of crap I've heard, but wasn't in the mood to argue because they had me meet both of them at 10pm at their garage. This guy seemed shady AF and spent more time trying to flex how much money he had which was also pretty laughable. I will end that I am not one of those customers that is a routine complainer for every stupid detail and was actually very patient with them...maybe too patient. I never raised my voice, cursed at them and even taking the time to write this review has been long in the making. I always kept it cordial and understand as a fellow small business owner that things sometimes go astray. I would have gladly given these guys a 5 star review if they just did what was right. Formula G's reviews speak volumes of the quality of work they do and I urge every prospective client to heed the warnings to avoid them. Seeing Chris respond to every negative review by avoiding any accountability and blaming it as a scam or asking to provide receipts is also pretty ridiculous as he knows Yelp doesn't allow a return response to his. I really wanted to like these guys as Chris seemed like a straight shooter...until he actually got the sale and everything changed from there. read more

I brought my car in thinking I would get great work. Go somewhere else. Took over a week to get my car back from fully wrapped and painted calipers. I got excuses on why it took so long. And to be completely honest. I don't think it was even worked on till last minute cause I kept itching for my car back. When I got it back, it looked good. I got it delivered to my work in the afternoon so light was going down. The following day i started to notice the imperfections. (Pics will be added) I'm not sure if the crew he had/has on is inexperienced but that's not how you do business especially with the prices you offer I reached out to Chris. Said he would correct the problem. It's been over a month for that to happen and now no reply when I reached out to him again. After multiple attempts to try and communicate with them to repair the horrific quality workmanship I decided to write this review and report them to 3M. I found Formula G online and gave them a call to see what they could for me and my car. I spoke with Chris who was very friendly and understood what I needed and made a few suggestions that I couldn't pass up. Formula G did a paint correction on the whole car, they wrapped the whole front end of my car with clear PPF and then a Carbon Fiber PPF on the hood. Chris notice my black wheels and some curb damage and told me they could fix them and they came out amazing, much better than the touch ups I was doing. They put a ceramic coating on the exposed paint too. The paint looks like glass and the wraps are Amazing. I could have never expected this quality of work and customer service.
