The garlic on the bagel was pretty large cut up pieces that were black and bitter from being burnt. There were so many pieces on the bagel I was trying to scrape them off because it was honestly so gross. The bagel dough itself was flavorless and flat and dry in texture. Sandwich was poorly put together and everything was sliding out. No seasoning and I don't think it even had the sauce on it that I paid for. Lots of grease as well. Egg was gross. I'm used to people at this point opening up restaurants even if they don't know shit about working in restaurants and/or making good food and food consistently being mid or disappointing. But this was actually inedible I threw out the $14 sandwich after trying to get through half of it. But even worse was the weird ass costumer service. Having worked in the industry myself I know people can have bad days and costumers can be very rude and burn you out but I always treated each person coming into the door as a new opportunity for a kind interaction and just basic costumer service even if I wasn't feeling well. It's so not hard to follow the script of "hey welcome in how can we help you... that'll be x dollars you can pay here... ok here is your food have a nice day bye" and truly just basic bare minimum walking you through a transaction. On a Saturday it was dead in there. Ugly cheap grey floors, idek if there was music playing honestly it was so quiet and odd. There were three girls working who didn't even acknowledge me. Made direct eye contact with them while they just stared then looked away to do something else. Like hello? Am I supposed to clock in to greet myself and get my food from behind the counter? Someone finally came over dead in the eyes and I had to greet her and do the entire interaction just to get my sandwich it was so weird. Smile on my face asking how she was, explaining what I was here for, telling her to have a good day and just literally nothing on her end. This is especially why I don't tip anymore ahead of receiving any service if ordering online bc thank god my tip didn't go towards an interaction that hasn't happened yet and then ended up being so off putting and dead. I have never really left reviews on places but I'm getting really tired of giving money to owners who sell shitass food with shitass costumer service. Please go somewhere like rover bagel or finest kind instead if you're hungry

I stopped in to check out this huge facility that seemed to pop up out of nowhere on the corner of…read moreRoute 1 and Cascade Road. It was the day before the grand opening and everyone was busy putting in those finishing touches. It really makes a difference when a building is built specifically for the purpose of being a training facility, Fit and finish of the place is amazing! The locker room isn't huge but has tons of lockers and a 6 person sauna if you need to cut weight for your next match! There is a huge sparring floor (no shoes, please) complete with long sections of cage panels to practice technique. There is a row of power racks separated by TRX, chinning, Gymnastics Rings stations and heavy bags. There are rubber mats placed in front of each rack station but I think there really needs to be more of a hardwood/plywood platform setup for Olympic and Powerlifting. The turf is easily a third of the floor space and flipping tires, sleds, Concept 2 rowers, medicine balls and kettlebells abound. Tucked under the Mezzanine is a sparring ring and octagon. The Yoga room is on the first floor with a wood floor and mats all laid out and waiting. Then there is the Mezzanine where the treadmills, selectorized machines and dumbbells reside. I didn't get up there as I found plenty to keep me busy on the first floor. Childcare and Spin Studio inhabit the space upstairs above the locker rooms and in house Saco Bay Physical Therapy office. There is an expansive array of group fitness options from Bootcamps, Cardio Kickboxing, Spin, Yoga, TRX and something called EvoFit. I haven't witnessed any of these classes in action yet, but they're all included in the membership. There are a couple of huge video screens that must be for wireless heartrate monitoring. Speaking of monitoring, as an old dude with fading vision there are bright albeit tiny LED clocks around the place but they're lacking seconds display for intervals. The hours are a little on the limited side at the moment. The kicker is, everybody on staff seems really, genuinely enthusiastic and welcoming and that vibe is the secret sauce that permeates the place. There were MMA, and Judo (?) practitioners working skills & conditioning right alongside old dudes larping as athletes (that would be me). This place definitely deserves a look if you're after a real workout in a clean, well laid out space.

Negative atmosphere promoted by coaches and gym members. I would highly recommend not going here…read morein general but especially if you are looking for somewhere to do olympic weightlifting.
