Dance House Productions, owned by Nicki Paquette & Jim Giroux, proved to be a horrible experience for my daughter and myself. The owners are unprofessional and unapproachable. When I sent an email requesting they call me, they refused. They wanted my question sent in an email. I have been a dance mom for 28 years and never have any of my girls been treated so callously. We paid a lot of money for my daughter to do a solo. The solo they gave her was less than a minute long. Just enough time to get on stage and off. It was a childish routine. My daughter has danced for 14 years, and deserved a routine that reflected that. They then accused her of being "extremely disrespectful" , but never called or spoke with her or me. We still don't know what they think she did. They wouldn't tell me in subsequent emails. According to contracts signed, they get to keep all our money even though they created an atmosphere that would have been intolerable for my daughter to return to. They were very sure to remind me that the money is nonrefundable and they want me to pay for the rest of the year as stated in multiple emails. That is what they care about most, money and not the kids. read more

I love Dance House Productions! I have danced here 6 years after previously dancing at a different studio, and when I came in I was nervous, and didn't really feel like dancing. Nicki helped build my confidence, improve my technique, and make me a better person along the way. Earning my way onto the competition team has showed me that this school takes their teaching seriously, and you have to prove to them that you belong there. This team and my teachers have taught me that winning is fun, but you shouldn't be disappointed if you don't win, you should jump right in and try to better yourself and improve your dancing for next time. I believe this is a value that can be used in life, and I will be forever grateful to Jim, Nicki, and Kaleigh for teaching me that I can work hard to be a great person, and hard work always pays off. This is the best dance school around!!! We've been involved since nearly the beginning and its the most fair down to earth studio in the area. It's not very often you get an open honest environment that fosters growth, talent and maturity. We work as a unit, a family, focusing on goal setting and development. Not only do the instructors foster a caring supportive environment they also discuss topics of self development such as nutrition, exercise outside the studio, and how to approach the edges of your comfort zone. This dance school and the teachers in this dance school single handedly taught my daughter self confidence and perseverance when she needed it most. If they had not been in my daughters court when she faced adversity who knows where she would be today. I am forever grateful and forever in debt to them for what they did for her. I love this dance studio. I have been dancing here for four years (I think), and it's been incredibly fun and I've grown so much in the time I've been here. I LOVE Mrs. Nicki- she has been such an inspiration to me and is a fantastic teacher. I have learned so many new skills and techniques, and my love of dancing has grown so much! The safety of her dancers is always her top priority, and she gives us helpful and kind feedback if we're doing something wrong. The classes are always full of laughs and smiles, and being around so many cheerful people is really refreshing. I also love being able to joke around with Mr. Jim, and I like the way he interacts with everyone, giving them high-fives and stuff. Anyways, I love this studio and I will be sad to leave here with all the memories I have made over the years. You should dance here- you won't regret it!! read more

Undoubtably this is one of the greatest dance studios I have seen. They take their craft seriously and why shouldn't they, parents pay a lot of hard earned money to train their children to be amazing dancers. It always stings as a parent or grandparent when are children are scolded in a moment when not paying attention, or are distracting others. The best of kids can do something in class that warrants a strong comment or feedback. There is a lot to do in those classes. From what I have scene, these owners and instructors care about the kids, their growth as dancers and as people, doing charity events and such. I see them all get water a ton of times within an hour class. We will always be a DHP fan because the 10000 good moment out way the few perceived less than experiences. read more

This studio has been my second home for the past twelve years. All of the instructors are very supportive and have been since I've​ started. Everyone I've met there are my lifelong friends and my dancing career will skyrocket as I have been trained not only in the art of dance but how to survive in a professional​​ dance setting. The two owners are the kindest people you will ever​ meet. They support myself and my family and always have a smile on their face when one of their students walks through the door. Dance House Productions has been my second home for 11 years!! I've never thought ONCE about leaving! Everyone there is so kindhearted and treats everyone with respect. The two owners are the nicest people!They have taught me what it is like to become a professional dancer and have never doubted me as a dancer or as just a human! She started out at a very young age at another dance studio, and refused to get out of her car seat for the last two months because she disliked it so much! Dance House is a Great Dance Studio. Both of my girls have been there for 6+ years and are on the Sr. competitive teams (Hip Hop and Jazz) and this year they were lucky enough to be asked to do a duet together. When we started they had come from another dance studio and performed at competitions, but they had to prove themselves and be asked on the teams at Dance House. To me this proves to these kids what Dance House instills in them, and what we as a whole should be teaching our kids, that you have to work hard for the results you want it isnt just handed to them. They expect a lot out of their dancers and the way the comp teams place at competitions shows this. read more

All 3 of my kids ages 4-8 LOVE going to Dance House Productions, every week! They have fun, learn to dance and strengthen their bodies, make friends, and build confidence. They look forward to the recital every year. As a parent, I couldn't ask for more. The recital is the perfect length and showcases the talents, passion, and creativity that Nicki & Jim pour in to their work. The kids are always supported and they in turn support each other. There are many opportunities for showcasing students' developed talents whether in competitions and/or recitals. This dance school is the best in town. They make incredible dancers I've been a dancer here for eight years of my life. All the kids are so amazing and I've made some of my bestest friends here and I love going to dance and seeing my dance family and I'm so happy that I'm able to dance. This studio is great I go with my friend and watch her all the time and the instructors are incredible and I can tell all the dancers work hard and the instructors care so much about their students and make them dance hard and it pays off and it's a really caring environment to be in I dont dance but I can tell everyone loves it because all the dancers go in with a smile and come out with one and all the instructors are happy to see all the dancers try their hardest and work and in general I love dance house productions. read more

The male dance instructor is an adult bully who should not be around children. The owners are unprofessional and ignored concerns surrounding the matter. Kids do not enjoy dancing here and find it more of a bootcamp then a dance class. Forget water breaks because if you take a sip of water everyone is doing it over. Then you are singled out by the male narcissist and that confidence you were looking for through dance is shattered. read more

My granddaughter has been dancing there for 11 years , 3 of my neices have been in Jim's and Nickis classes over the years. They are an awesome family group. This is a phenomenal dance school. I always see the dancers with smiles on their faces. The instructors are experienced and amazing at what they do. My sister has time and time again came home as happy as can be and her performance come recital time shows why.
