My sister got a flat tire on the highway, and after waiting almost 2 hours for roadside assistance…read morethrough our insurance company, we gave up and started looking elsewhere. We found Ancash Roadside Assistance on Yelp and called because they had such great reviews. He answered immediately, sent me a location-sharing request, and arrived in about 20 minutes. After spending nearly two hours stranded on the side of the road, that level of responsiveness was a huge relief. Once he arrived, he got right to work and had the tire changed in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, and we were safely back on the road much faster than expected. My only suggestion for improvement would be to introduce yourself before getting started. It was dark, and we were two women stranded on the side of the highway. When he arrived, he pulled up behind us and immediately started changing the tire without introducing himself. I genuinely appreciated the urgency and willingness to jump right in and get the job done, but in that situation, a quick introduction would have gone a long way in helping us feel more comfortable and know that the person approaching our vehicle was the roadside assistance we had called. Overall, though, the service was excellent. He showed up when we needed help, worked quickly, and got us moving again in no time. If you're stranded with a flat tire and need someone reliable, I would definitely recommend Ancash Roadside Assistance.

Fast, professional and friendly service both on the phone and when they arrived, cannot say enough great things about our experience. Going to keep their number saved in my phone in case of future emergencies. Highly recommend. I will only add: It was pouring outside, so Ty had me wait inside the car. He unloaded and loaded the trunk for me so that I could stay safe as a 38w pregnant woman. I appreciated that when he was done he said, "Do not drive over 50 mph with this donut tire and be safe." He is super friendly, kind and efficient. Definitely will use him in the future if we have auto problems in the DMV.

The dispatcher was kind and explained how everything would go. When the technician, Chris, arrived, he attempted to increase the price by an additional $30. Then an additional $15 after I called the dispatch. After I explained that I would only be paying the amount I was quoted, the technician told me I should be willing to pay more because he was "helping me out." I found that unprofessional. I was already paying for a service, and customers shouldn't be pressured into paying more after a price has been agreed upon--especially when they're stranded on the side of the highway. Using a woman in needs situation to pocket extra money is unethical and unkind. Wouldn't use this service again. Thankfully I had a pump because Chris also refused to put air, wasn't expected, but he only refused after I questioned the increase.

My van did not come with a spare tire from the manufacturer, so I could not change the tire myself. I really wish car makers did not do this, but that is another subject. I called DMV Roadside Rescue, and they had a mechanic out to my house within about an hour. It was the day after the Fourth of July, so it was hard for the mechanic to find an open auto parts store that had the tire I needed. He had to call several places. The mechanic came back with the tire I needed and replaced my flat tire. This all took about three hours. The total was about $250. Keep up the good work. No complaints.

Well, any of you who live or frequent the southern Maryland area know there is nothing open other than (the store that starts with W) after 9pm. Well their website list that they have trailer tires...not gonna say anymore about that. So after suffering through the above stores lack of service and knowledge I contacted Chip's, explained my issue, and they sent a truck out immediately. Within 30 minutes Bam Bam was on the scene. It was late and cold but he was upbeat and totally professional. He took his time and properly loaded my trailer with contents, nothing was further damaged. He transported the trailer to where I asked without any questioning and unloaded it, again with care and patience. He even offered to return the next day and further assist if I could not locate the tire I needed. My wife and I were highly appreciative of his attitude and professional way of doing business. We truly hope the owner of Chip's sees this review and lets this man know what a good employee he is, and what a positive reflection he is on that business. Ricky H.
