Had another great experience with Chip's Towing this morning. After being completely failed by the roadside assistance that is supposedly part of my new car warranty, we called Chip's and they were there to help us out in a reasonable time. They were kind and professional and got us going again in short order. This was our second use of Chip's. The first was a few months ago when we hit a deer on Rt. 4. They made that bad situation as good as it could be by showing up quickly, towing our vehicle and being easily available when I needed to clear out the vehicle when it was totaled by the insurance company. Ryan was extremely kind and helpful when a tree fell in front of my car during a storm. I hit the tree and tore something off the undercarriage of my van. It was stuck to the bottom of the van. He was able to dislodge it, cut it loose and assess the van and tell me that it was safe to drive and didn't require a tow. And he didn't charge me anything. Great guy. This past Saturday I was on the road with my trailer after 9pm. Unfortunately I had a flat on the trailer and did not have a spare. Well, any of you who live or frequent the southern Maryland area know there is nothing open other than (the store that starts with W) after 9pm. Well their website list that they have trailer tires...not gonna say anymore about that. So after suffering through the above stores lack of service and knowledge I contacted Chip's, explained my issue, and they sent a truck out immediately. Within 30 minutes Bam Bam was on the scene. It was late and cold but he was upbeat and totally professional. He took his time and properly loaded my trailer with contents, nothing was further damaged. He transported the trailer to where I asked without any questioning and unloaded it, again with care and patience. He even offered to return the next day and further assist if I could not locate the tire I needed. My wife and I were highly appreciative of his attitude and professional way of doing business. We truly hope the owner of Chip's sees this review and lets this man know what a good employee he is, and what a positive reflection he is on that business. Ricky H. read more
