As a small independent dealership, I came here intending to support my neighbor, but the customer service was absolutely awful. I left my Jeep for an inspection, and the gentleman working there--an older Asian man--was extremely rude from the start. I got stuck in traffic and couldn't pick up the vehicle by 6 PM, as he insisted it couldn't stay overnight due to lack of space, which I understood. I arranged for my neighbor to pick it up for me, and even he called me to express how rude the same guy was. He refused to even engage in conversation, just told my neighbor to "take a business card" if he wanted his name. Later, I found out that the Jeep failed inspection due to suspension issues. When I called to ask for more details, the same man just rudely told me to "look at the invoice" and hung up on me without providing any explanation. This is NOT how you treat customers. I definitely won't be coming back and would advise others to avoid this terrible place. read more

I visited Intell to get an emissions inspection. I was told they don't start those until 11am, so I returned at 11am. The same person then told me he was ready to do my safety and emissions inspections. I told him I only need an emissions inspection, because my safety inspection is still valid for awhile. He asked to look at my car to validate that I didn't need a safety inspection and then told me to go a couple blocks down the road to get my emissions inspection done and that they would be able to take care of it quickly. The person at that shop told me his inspections person wouldn't be in until 1pm. They've taken care of my car for 5 years back when they were near stone ridge's BP gas station. I've come to them for oil changes and tune ups and they got the job done. Their previous location had a nice waiting area with a quality television and magazines for their customers, and I'm sure they'll add a lot more to their new location. John Lee is the best guy in this business that I have ever met. Just 2nd time here but his customer service dazzles me. Found this place through yelp reviews a month ago, came here first time for a 2nd opinion for a transmission replacement recommended by Honda service center and was assured that there were no issues with transmission after his mechanic and he spent over 30 minutes personally with us to check symptoms for NO CHARGE !! Who does that ever ??!! Other shops run the "price meter" the moment they write a ticket. Drove in here today for a scraping sound when braking on my Camry with no prior appointment, but welcomed in at 8:15 am, and John personally walked me through the issues with the brake pads, rotor, caliper etc. Didn't know before what all those looked like or worked together, so will leave here educated and a car in better shape. Also, will not feel robbed blindfolded at the end of all of it. Fabulous owner and shop and awesome customer focused service. The front of the shop does no justice to the huge and clean garage space they have. Will recommend highly to all my friends and anyone who sees this review. read more

My first experience with Intell Auto Service was nothing short of exceptional because of the owner, John Lee. My Xterra had been making a pretty bad vibration at speeds above 60mph. After hours and even days of research, I narrowed it down to the U Joints. I looked up average price for U Joint repairs on repairpals and came across IAS's reviews. I immediately went on Yelp to see if there were any additional reviews. I saw one and decided to message the business at 10pm. The next morning I receive a call from John introducing himself and walking me through his process. Even though he thought it was probably the U Joints as well, he told me he would test drive it and do a courtesy check for any possible safety repairs that needed to be done. I dropped my car off that night and sent John a text to let him know my truck was there. He called me the next day and let me know it was not the U Joint but the front tie rod. He sent me an email with his propose work and maintenance items that should happen based on the miles on the truck. I declined the items I knew had already been done in the recent months and asked John to replace the tie rod, cabin filter, air element and to do an alignment. Once the work was complete he called me. Although I did not meet him in person, I paid over the phone and picked up my car at night and the ride was night and day. I highly recommend John and I would not hesitate to use him in the future. I tend not to write a lot of reviews and I felt the need to for his business! read more

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I went in for a damaged battery post and corroded positive terminal block. My model has a proprietary charging post and it requires a special order. The staff alerted me that it may take a few hours for the delivery of the part. Rather than having me call an Uber, they provided a loaner vehicle for a few hours!! Moreover, my car was repaired and back on the road in the exact timeframe given and no magical additional repairs or mystery add-ons appeared in order to jack up the pricing. Honest shop. My wife had top ball joint fail on her Grand Cherokee. We called AAA for a tow and they recommended this shop. John was straight up about everything. I was impressed that he suggested just replacing the lower ball joint instead of the entire lower control arm. That saved at least $350 per side. He did not try to upsell anything or gouge us for anything. We dealt with the manager, John Lee.
