This is a review for a brand new home build in blue springs…read more Our home was purchased in March 24th 2023. The grass that was laid was green but really patchy. The cracks in the sod were humongous. I remember doing the walkthrough with the builders thinking these are some big cracks. Is that going to be okay. The builders said "Yeah, it should be fine..." should be? Which sounds to me that it wasn't. We called into Blue Cedar Landscape to inform the management of the low quality done to our house. The person who answered was nice and friendly but We were informed the manager was going to make a trip out to our house and examine it. We got some information about with the incoming heat of about 80 degrees we had to water our grass about 3 times a day. We're trying our best. The hose has been running none stop daily. This grass isn't getting any better. We haven't heard anything back from management. I do not now what would be done anyways but for them to come out and fix it would require a lot of work. Blue cedar has a major contract with Rausch Coleman and are probably getting rich off this while we were in a brand new home paying for a lawn that looks like garbage. I'm not even going to talk about the dead plants that we're planted in our front yard planter.... That's not my concern as much as my Grass... Maybe Blue Cedar Landscape will treat you better as a client of 1 vs a client of 100 homes. I know house mass production jobs work. It's all about knocking them out and then quality is reduced. In closing? Before closing in your new home CHECK their work. Or take a chance and hope blue cedar will do better work if you hire them individually.
