There were so many mistakes - I had to guide the accountant and keep correcting her, I paid over twice as much as they originally quoted ($545) - and while paying, they "accidentally" charged me $830. I have never paid that much, especially when it felt like I was doing half of the work. Two stars because everyone was nice enough, and the owner responded quickly. Most Honest Tax business out there. Earlier this year when i was getting quotes for my taxes(multiple years) to be done i was getting quotes from other business for anywhere form $200 - $600 per year. So i called since extensions are due this month and spoke with the owners (Elizabeth) an after i provided more info she informed me i dont need to file for both years period. WOW! i have gotten quotes on yelp and some website and after discussing what my tax information no one told me i didn't need to file. for me honest keeps my loyalty but since i cannot file or do not need to i wrote this review hoping she gets some business from my review. i spoke with 4 other services and she was the only one to honest one out f the bunch. thanks read more

I ended paying a penalty fee because the person who did my taxes misinformed me and when I asked her about this she simply stopped emailing me and never answered my calls. She stated that I had 100 days to pay an amount which was NOT true I was penalized within 40 days because of her error and she didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for her mistake instead she just ignored my emails and never returned my calls.
