This review is a long time coming and for those of you looking for a TL;DR - Brandon is A++, can't recommend him enough. Unlike other facials, he does not at all beat around the bush with the extractions, and I couldn't be happier about it. How often can you say that the same day after any facial? I've had one once before, the week before I got married, and this one was much better. A friend bought me a gift of a facial with Brandon, and I'd never had one before, so I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Prior to this experience, I always thought facials were probably just a foo-foo luxury service that wasn't really necessary. Well, Brandon completely made me change my opinion. I will be coming back and having this service done again! It's been about 5 hours since I left his care, and my face feels incredible. It's hard to describe this feeling, but I think it just is probably the first time I actually had a completely CLEAN face. Along with making my skin squeaky clean, Brandon did a review of my skin for sun damage. Being from Florida, I can see the lasting effects of sun damage on my older relatives. I wrote to Brandon to discuss working with me between now and my wedding in October 2013 to ensure my skin is looking its best. Brandon says he works with many couples in preparation for their weddings, and I'm hoping my fiance takes my advice and contacts him too! I really wanted to find an aesthetician I could trust because the last time I had a facial (over two years ago), it took several months for my skin to stop peeling from the overzealous scrub I'd been given. Brandon immediately put me at ease. He asked me about my skin and looked at the products I currently use and then gave me a great facial. He used that special light to see the horrors the sun has inflicted on my pale skin over the years, and assured me that there were things we could do (lightening serum, etc) to make sure my skin looks lovely now, in October, and in the future. He gave me a couple free samples of products he believes in. I plan to buy them when I go back. Brandon does not forget about you when you pay him and walk out the door! He wrote to me a few days after my facial to follow up and make sure my skin had healed well (I don't think I'd told him about my previous experience, so he didn't even know I was nervous about that). My nose did peel a few days later, and I wrote to him again to make sure that was normal, and he wrote back quickly and told me I'm likely getting used to new products. Brandon is extremely passionate about skin care. I could tell by his stories and his insight when I would ask about the different products he was using.
