At 9:00 a.m. this morning our dog was going crazy barking. I looked out and saw a man walking around our house. I soon realized that he must be from one of the gutter companies I contacted for a quote. He was walking the property totally unannounced. No appointment, no advance phone call, although they have my cell #, no ring of the doorbell. I was somewhat perturbed because I was still in my PJ's and got dressed to speak with him. When he looked over I calmly said, "Is this how you guys conduct business?" Without any hesitation, the person, who I believe was the Principal Owner, John Raymond, said, "Fine! Do it yourself then!", "I'm not even going to quote this job", and stormed off to his car. Very rude, very unprofessional behavior from start to finish. Very negative experience. Stay Away!

LIke many people, we rely on customer reviews and word of mouth when hiring for home projects. Despite being the most expensive option, we chose Refined Roofing after relying on other customer reviews. A huge mistake! In short, do not hire Refined Roofing because of their lack of site management, their lack of professionalism, and their deceitful behavior. We live in a neighborhood where houses are close to one another. We were concerned about the impact of our project on our neighbors and made this clear to Refined Roofing at the start. We were promised careful site management from a site supervisor, with a specific promise to tarp the area, including the neighbor's yard, to capture all debris. NO supervisor was on site during the actual execution of the project. As the photo shows, the area was INADEQUATELY tarped, debris was carelessly spewed all over our property and our neighbor's. When supervisors finally visited the site, they promised to repair the neighbor's yard. Once I paid my bill, they refused to make good on their promise. Additionally, the actual workmanship was sloppy. Among other things, they knowingly applied broken shingles to the new roof and did not apply a promised second coat of rubber in one area. Furthermore, the owners of Refined Home Services, Gino and Karen, were rude, dismissive, and dishonest when confronted with the facts. They denied that there was any debris mismanagement or damage, despite the photo proof included here. While the company replaced the broken shingles and finally cleaned up the initial mess, they refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused and left us in the uncomfortable situation they created with our neighbors. In short, Refined Roofing lacks quality of service, integrity, and decency. This company is not worth hiring ... ever.

That it literally rotted even more. 45° Angle cuts where way off a lot of dap fill in. The vynal siding bubbled out in the middle of the front of the house. Had to tell them that a pc was sticking out from the house. Vynal siding still falling off that week and yrs later. Gutters do not have them install gutters. I had a pretty new metal roof. They dropped onto the metal roof on the attached shed. A hole in that. They used purple silicone on blue roof. Contract final payment when complete yet constant looking for more money when the job is incomplete. Gutters they installed had it running down the middle on to the three season porch roof. Instead originally drained down the back. They redid had made this funky hamster maze looking thing with a bunch of elbows. They my other gutters where custom made. That clogged right away with the leaf guards they installed. Guy came and said he saw nothing. They said well said I have to have it cleaned twice a year. Bunch elbows is where it was clogged. So first winter snow ripped off three leaf guards they screwed back in and repeated the following winter. Well I had utterly gutters come out. They said the leaf guards installed are not supposed to be used for metal roofs. MY HOUSE LITERALLY LEAKED IN MY HOUSE DURING A HEAVY RAIN STORM VERY SHORTLY AFTER. THERE GUY SAID TRIED TO TELL MY WIFE IT WAS A PLUMBING ISSUE. CALLED THEM OUT ON IT. SAYING NO CAPS ON TRIM. THAT IF THE HOUSE WAS PROPERLY TYVEK PROPERLY STILL SHOULDN'T LEAK INTO THE HOUSE. THE JOB SUPERVISOR MADEY WIFE GO OVER THE ISSUES WITH THE EMPLOYER.
