As a homeowner of Waters Edge Condos in Middletown NY, I asked for financials but i have not…read morereceived them 14 months into Associa NY coming in to so call manage the property. There is garbage all over the dumpster area including big piles of glass making it dangerous to walk or drive in that area for at least 3 weeks now and Associa has done nothing to fix the problem. Lights that are out are not being fixed. Crumbling curbs, dead crows are laying around and in the actual lake! The entire Phase 2 area is not being maintained and hasn't been for the last 26 years! Dead trees, leaning posts, areas needing painting, repairs, power washing, old dirty broken mailboxes. The whole place is in need of an upgrade but instead the majority of the funds are used to euthanize the geese! For 26 years that I have been here killing the geese is the major concern. No repairs, no maintenance, nothing for the upkeep of Phase 2. Phase 1 is kept up better but they also put more funds into killing the geese than should be. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET RID OF THE GEESE! Why live on a lake if you don't like wildlife? Associa NY follows the lead of the board members which is a joke. One new board member couldn't even complete the form to get on the board and needed help filling out the form. Associa gives homeowners the run around while doing nothing for the actual homeowners. The board president of Phase 2 used over $5,000 without proper authorization and it is well known though out the board and community and yet, Associa NY kept the him on the board. The so called property managers are inexperienced and not worth their salaries. The president of Associa NY is not working for the homeowners, she works for the board, her own words! DO NOT HIRE ASSOCIA NY. If I coukd give no stars I would this company, the board members, the property managers all need to go! Waters Edge Condos in Middletown is a horrible place to live for both homeowners and the wildlife. The board members are aggressive, physically threatening and evil along with ignorant.

Unfortunately, our experience with them has been a profound disappointment. An overwhelming number of our owners have become extremely frustrated with the Valezs' and dismayed by the unprofessionalism and lack of concern shown by this management company. Jorge has been particularly condescending and bullyish to our single female owners and is often unresponsive, indifferent and neglectful in helping to resolve both individual and community issues . He has no financial sense and recently encouraged an unnecessary and costly project that has turned into a literal disaster. Jorge is profoundly incompetent as an advisor to the board and often withholds owner's concerns from them . He has told single women blatantly wrong information about how and what needs fixing instead of contacting professionals who would know the correct answer . He is very ineffective and cowardly when dealing with contractors and has demonstrated no skill or confidence in holding them accountable for quality of service in both maintenance or special projects. We are in the process of replacing this company as their negligent and incompetent management has had dire consequences to the HOA finances and the morale of our community .
