A couple of other roofers took a look and felt that it was a 50% chance to have our insurance cover it. Alex, Altitude Contracting, also thought it was about a 50% chance to have a successful insurance claim , but he said it was worth trying. We were initially turned down, but with a little prodding by Alex, the insurance company changed their mind and honored a full roof replacement. The rest of the process went very smoothly: HOA approval, Building Permit, shingle selection, additional changes, etc. The roofers were pleasant to work with. Very hard workers. They cleaned up every afternoon and upon completion left the area free of debris (nails). Communication from Alex throughout the process was exceptional. Would we use Altitude again? Yes we would.

They also damaged the heat tape when they put it back on. That is why it was tripping all winter. We are lucky we did not have a fire. Now that we settled with the insurance company, we now have to repair everything. Hogan roofing was amazing until the winter when their job did not hold up. They replaced the roof (5 years old) because of a manufacture warranty. We had zero issues in four years. The first year after it was built, there were a few minor issues because of the heat tape placement (which were resolved), but we had no issues after that. Now we have heat tape issues at the breaker causing them to trip. They are taking no responsibility for the brand new roof that they installed which leaked the entire winter. It does not matter how much snow falls in a year, no roof should ever leak if it is done properly.

Jeremy responded within minutes and we set up an appointment quickly. I, unfortunately, was irresponsible and missed our appointment, but he still inspected and sent a quote that evening. I reached out for his opinion, and he was honest in what he thought would get the leak solved for the least cost. He suggested a patch and seal job would last at least half a decade, which fit our needs, but obviously a full replacement would be a more permanent solution. As we opted for the patch and seal, his team were quick to get the job done, and payment was super easy. Fast forward a few months to early May, when it's been raining nonstop the past few days, and no leaks!
