The first adjuster we had asked me to get 3 quotes for repairs. I got into Yelp and got them ($31k, $36k, and $38k). The first check they cut for the repairs was for $4k!! Crazy! After months of fighting with them we finally got the house fixed. They refused to pay the going rate for housing (we had to move out for several weeks). And because they said that they would not pay any additional housing, we had to rush the repairs. Ultimately, we had to pay out of pocket for some of the repairs, and when I submitted a receipt for reimbursement they said it wasn't covered (floor leveling for the area affected by the water). This has been the most frustrating, horrible experience! Buyer Beware!!!
