"You get what you pay for" as the saying goes and it is so true. When I was searching for central air conditioner, this company was the cheapest, so I got my central air installed through them. The first months of installation I had nothing but problems with the unit, I called so many times to complain that the house was not cooling. The temperature would stay the same for hours. There's other issues I've had with them, but it'll be too long. Personally i feel like this was not the company I should have gotten it from, But here I am writing this review to help others not make the same mistake. The other issue was the pvc drain from the air conditioner was damaging my brick, and creating a puddle of water on my neighbors sidewalk where kids play. I called and sent them pictures, it was a back and forth with them and nothing was done. When it came time to renew the service agreement, I explained to them the drain issue and was told the company is under new ownership, they sent a technician to solve the problem, it was just 1 technician for a 2 person job. The issue was resolved, but because they wanted me to renew, which I did and I now regret it. The first issue already is they came out to do the yearly maintenance on my furnace, included in the package and the service order sheet says, the tech did the maintenance service and "the igniter is in process of failing will need to replace soon" fee is $356 to replace. Well the first day I turn on my heater is not working, I assumed based on their technician's note that it was the igniter, and i didn't want to pay their quoted price of $356 so I called my home warranty and paid my deductible which was only $100. The other technician tells me it wasn't working due to orifice being clogged with gunk and all he had to do was clean it. I called and spoke to the technician's manager and he said they couldn't do anything because I took it upon myself to assume that it was what their technician wrote. They didn't attempt to help me somehow or in any way. Maybe they don't know how to value a good customer and they couldn't do an exemption, but since they already have my payment for the year, guess they could care less. I am just so disappointed in Integrity because I gave this company a second chance and I just renew and i'm already having issues with their service. It seems as they don't care much about keeping their customers happy, and to think I had thought of recommending them to people I know are looking for a system, In order to recommend a company must keep their customers satisfied and I feel they failed to do that. My intention was to get central air for my other 2 units, guess I'm going to be searching again. I'm just not a happy customer. I honestly Do not recommend this Company. No Integrity! UPDATE: Here is what I would say so far the one person always trying to help and understand me her name is Wanda. I received a call from her this morning and like she did in the past she tried to help me resolve this issue. I was offered an extra fall cleaning. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company. A few years ago we bought a large older home that required significant work. One of the larger projects was removing the old boiler system and makeshift air conditioner that the previous owners had installed. Though I have nothing against boilers and enjoyed the heat it provided when it worked, everything was installed incorrectly and was a mess. So this year we decided to tackle this project and started calling every (and I mean every) heating and air place we could find to come out and give us estimates. We started calling places in March and had several big name companies come out, spend a great deal of time with us and then never provide a quote. Needing all new duct work and two furnaces and two air conditioners we knew this was a very big job, but we were getting really frustrated. We continued to call more and more companies, only to continue to run into people who didn't get back to us. Out of all of the places that came out,only 3 provided estimates and they varied greatly and were only verbal estimates. Then came Jeff from Integrity. He came to our home the day I called and sat with me and wrote 3 different options with price before leaving. He explained everything and was very friendly and did not pressure us at all. The prices were all very reasonable especially for the amount of work we needed. After talking it over we decided to go with Integrity and are so happy we did. Every other company that came to our house estimated that the job would take at least 2 weeks to complete. The team from Integrity had it completed in one week - just in time for it to get warmer again so we could enjoy finally having air conditioning! The 3 guys on the team - Mark, Jerome, and Brian were awesome. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very easy to be around. They very easily interacted with us, our kids and our pets while doing a truly wonderful job on the house. To be honest, they generally left the house cleaner than they found it. Like I said - I genuinely cannot say enough good things about these guys or this company. Everything went so much better than I had expected and the house looks and feels great. Ken with integrity heating and cooling did an outstanding job with his customer service. He was very straightforward with everything he told me and it was all true. They gave me $2000 off my furnace and air conditioner unit which was great. It took the technicians about 6 hours to complete the job which I expected them to complete it longer because the home was built in 1960. The technicians were very respectful and did an outstanding job themselves. Everyone was working all the time and they work together really well. I had three other companies come out to my home and wanted to run new duct work through the attic and install them in the attic because they told me I was not able to use the pre-existing ducts that were in the foundation. When I explain this to Ken and gave can him the other company's bidding invoices he handed me back the paperwork and he said you're just going to have to trust me bud I'll take care of you and I'll get it done right. I guarantee it! So now I have a new furnace with a coil and air conditioning unit all running through the same ducts through the foundation and it works perfect Thanks again guys. Every single person I spoke to at Integrity Heating & Cooling was very polite, professional and always answered all my questions. Every single aspect of the sale was supported by written documentation and the installers arrived exactly on time and installed everything as expected. Now for the real story; the entire system works as well or better than they promised. We have not had this "balance" of heat in our home for years - now I realize how bad our system really was. It feels great in our home now. Since we have been so pleased with the heating and cooling system we have told well over 30 family members, friends and neighbors of our positive experience and now a few have actually had new systems installed in their homes. After 28 years I decided it was time for a new furnace and to also replace our 13 year old AC unit. I received many quotes, all about the same price. I picked Integrity because they had the lowest price and the salesman gave great information about our current system, and the units to be installed, along with the company. Scheduling was no problem, they came out and installed the furnace and AC unit. A very 'clean' look to the install and left the basement cleaner that it was! They weren't able to get the AC working-didn't have the fuse on the truck or install the chimney liner-raining then sleeting!. The came out a few days later and completed the work-no problems. The folks on the other side of the phone for scheduling and follow ups were great! The first install team was led by Chris, the second by Jonathan. All the guys were friendly, knowledgeable, cleaned up everything, and explained the install and system. Also, got a 2 years service with the deal! The installed American Standard system is top rated. Integrity Heating installed a new high efficiency gas furnace in our home before Christmas. Doug Pleva explained the features and benefits of the High Efficiency furnace options and shared literature showing potential utility bill savings. He also suggested we'd find the house warmer with the new system. Once we agreed to proceed, Integrity scheduled the install within 2 days. The installers arrived on time. The team laid clothes to avoid tracking dirt through our home. The guys completed the job in a timely basis, then explained the features and took me through any maintenance i would need to complete on a periodic basis. The furnace has been running quietly and our home has felt warmer - throughout the rooms. I have not yet received our first Nipsco bill, but am anxious to track any savnigs. The warranty offered also allowed be to cancel my NIPSCO ESP prgram for my furnace - another savings. Integrity Heating and Cooling truly has the best interest of their customers first and foremost. Their membership saved me hundreds when it came to my furnace cleaning and subsequently the install of my new humidifier. The tech came out to do the cleaning of my furnace and I mentioned that I hope the cleaning will help my family stay healthy in the winter season, and he suggested a humidifier. I, not knowing very much about humidifiers, was not sure but the tech really took the time and patience to inform me all about the wonderful benefits of having a humidifier and the benefit to my families' health. The tech was very respectful and knowledgeable. The humidifier was even installed later that day! I could not be more thrilled with this company. I have worked with Integrity HVAC since they took over Alpine HVAC. they have provided my twice a year servicing.This past weeknd when my 14 year old unit failed to provide cool air, they came out the next AM and diagnosed a coolant leak at inside coil. On Monday, they provided me with information on options for the repair and answered any questions that I had. Later that day, I notified them of my decision and on Tuesday was told they would come out Thursday morning between 0800 and 0830 to complete it. They arrived at 0805. They explained the process and they would be completed by 1200. They put down drop clothes throughout to protect my carpets. They were careful when carrying equipment. At 1130 the system was turned back on and cool air began to make my home comfortable again. They left every area so clean, you would not know they were even here. I called yesterday at 4pm with my AC not working, and they had a technician here by 10am the next morning. The problem turned out to be a clogged drain that had tripped the shut-off switch - something I never would have figured out on my own. What impressed me most was how thorough and professional the John was. He took videos to show me exactly what the problem was and walked me through the repair process. The actual fix only took about 10 minutes once he diagnosed the issue. I was especially grateful for how patient and kind he was with my 19-year-old son who has autism. He took extra time to explain everything in detail and made sure my son understood what had happened and how it was fixed. That level of care and professionalism really stood out.
