I've attended estate sales from a lot of the major estate sale companies throughout San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles, and Integrity First Sales has become my favorite. I especially want to mention Antonia because I've seen her at the jewelry counter many times, and that is probably one of the most intense spots at any estate sale. People can get pushy and competitive around jewelry and valuables. I've always seen her be firm, organized, fair, and kind, even when customers were clearly out of line. There is a difference between being rude and holding boundaries in a chaotic environment. Another thing worth mentioning is that they have a great reputation. I have been to a few of their sales, and have always felt like things could run better and the service could be better, especially of how expensive things are. I don't mind paying $ for things I like. Last year I went to my neighbors estate sale, she has passed. I overheard them talking about how some girl found a bottle of crown royal (apparently it was worth money) and thank goodness they were able to make something up to not give it to her. She took the other bottles. I took a photo of the bottle and later found it for over $1,600. They made up an entire story how the kids wanted that bottle, I can assure you, I know them and they didn't. Just felt off. Yesterday three things stuck out to me that were just not kind. I got there at 7 am and was the first 10 people who was able to get inside. She posted a video saying over 100 people were waiting in line at opening. This was not true, it was closer to 50-60. Maybe after 11 they had more but at 9 it wasn't that full. I came there specifically for a brown set of flatware I saw online. I was THE FIRST ONE IN THE KITCHEN and it wasn't there. I asked and they said someone bought it. No one checked out with it. I waited. I guarantee you these ladies pick through and get what they want before sales day. 100%. No integrity in that. The most bothersome was a gentleman who spent OVER $3,000! The attitude he got from the women ringing him out was beyond me. Poor guy didn't speak English well and he just tried his best. Terrible! She also overcharged him $182, I'm a math queen, and that was horrible. If someone is spending that kind of money day one, you should be very kind to him. One of the worst experiences at an estate sale; the complete rudeness and disdain that was expressed towards us while trying to purchase items; was shocking and off-putting. (They treat the homeowners well; but they have complete disdain for the estate sale shoppers) My mom (who is shy) has been going to their sales for a few years; the ladies (who run it) are familiar with my mom always recognize her and greet her. At this is sale, near the end of the day, one of the ladies allowed my mom to place her items under the sales table off to the side. As we went to pay for our items, my mom was grabbing her items that were set to the side, when the daughter of one of the ladies (who was now running the sale table) looks at my mom with complete disgust, and in a rude, belittling tone says, "Did they say, you could put those there?"... the daughter then repeated this two more times, each time more aggressive, until one of the older ladies jumped in and spoke up for my mom. The girl, than looked at me and in the same tone said, "Is there something you want?" ... please keep in mind we were trying to pay for our items and waiting for a total, and she was at the cashiers table. We should have left everything and walked out, but my mom really wanted her books; the daughter did not stop her condescending tone and disrespect to my mom and made each step of the payment process painful to witness. (I walked out) This encounter was so bad, that my mom asked me to make this review and stated she would not shop any of their sales in the future. I like arriving at the close of an estate sale for the good deals. I arrived at 330 and was informed that the estate sale was closed. Online it was listed as open until 4. Wasted my time and gas Update: Integrity First Sales responded quickly and asked to remove post as not to tarnish their good reputation and that they "would make it up to me" at the next sale. They also indicated that they post this early, closing on the website and social pages. But when i went back to look for it, i could not find anything because the sale was closed and gone from the page. My wife found it and has a screenshot at 3:46 and nowhere does it indicate that they're closing early. In fact, the screen shot indicates that they're "open an hour later."
