A disappointing experience to say the least. Accounting of items sold and for what was not provided. No accountability for owners to know what their individual possessions sold for. No requests for actual accounting were honored. Attitude needs serious improvement. However her workers were lovely. Respectfulness of owners knowledge of their items authenticity and value. Honesty instead of over promising and under delivering. Too high a percentage 50% when marketing of sale was lacking. I had to do my own marketing after very low turn out the first day, when items were valued at the highest. Living up to commitments. Getting whiplash from broken commitments after sale. Feeling bullied when trying to discuss pricing. Specific home damage verified by experts acknowledged then retracing then acknowledging then retracting again. Undervaluing of certain merchandise. Lack of knowledge of values of higher end items. More of a crock pot type garage sale liquidator. Not appropriate for high end or valuables. After claiming all the big LA and SD antique dealers would show up. They did not. Left my place a mess. read more

She listened patiently to me give her a quick summary of the personal property in my mom's estate, and then gave me lots of helpful information on how to assess the value of what we have, the services she offers, and how she could help us find individual buyers for specific high-value items if we decide not to proceed with an in-home sale. I have been going to estate sales for over 20 years and have finally found one that makes me feel like I'm welcome everytime. They are very professional and each sale I've been to I've come home with some kind of treasure. The sales team is very helpful and understanding whenever I've needed help with an item. I was very happy to see them all wearing masks and creating an environment that practiced social distancing these past few weeks. Even though I had to wait before going in longer then usual, I know they cared more about their customer's health then the bottom dollar. Wildly overpriced. I suspect they are overpricing items they want to keep for resale- I sure hope they are paying their clients what they priced the items at during the sale for anything they keep, but you know they're not. I overheard someone trying to negotiate a slightly better deal on an overpriced purse and I heard the employee (maybe Sandy?) tell her no, that she 'knows what it's worth.' Well, if it hasn't sold by the third day of the sale, it's not worth what you're asking! And you bet she's taking that item at the end of the day and reselling it. It's really sad to see companies take advantage of people when they're dealing with the death of a loved one. A liquidator's job is to get as much sold as possible in 2-3 days at reasonable prices, that's clearly not their goal. Yikes. read more

This estate sale always has very nice things but all of the employees are rude. They overpriced everything at sales and then when you offer a used price they turn into snobs and are completely rude. For instance a picture frame I have a picture of was $4 when it was bought in a store the original price is still on it and they haven't marked for $5 and then got very rude and short when I offered $1 today. I was going to buy all of the frames at $1 each. But instead I was told how much they're worth. This is day 3 of the sale and they still have them so obviously not worth that much to several people. They have a 5 year old smart TV and I offered $150 and once again was told that it was worth so much. Well guess what I googled it in front of her and the same brand, same size was only $250 BRAND NEW at the store with a warranty. I much prefer timeless estate sales the employees are not rude and they are reasonable and not expect brand new store prices or above for USED items. This place does not care about selling things for the client but to make herself money. I have been told flat out they'll just sell it to a wholesale distributor if it does not sale at the price they want. Keep in mind these items are USED NOT NEW NO WARRANTY. Kelly is extremely brash and off putting. I avoid any SANDYS estate sale because of her. One time I bought a bottle of shampoo that I picked up from the bathroom-she saw me holding it and said "oh you found my shampoo. I was hiding that." WHAT????? BE WARNED BY MY EXPERIENCE! I drove 15 miles to look at a table and FOUR matching chairs as shown in a photograph in the listing for today's estate sale. When I got there, I discovered the table with only two chairs. When I inquired, I was told they had thrown away the other two chairs because they were damaged. Did they think to take down the image of the table with four chairs? No. Did they think to put the words "only two chairs available" on the uploaded image? No. Did they think to take a new picture of the table with only two chairs? No. In fact, the listing STILL shows the table with four chairs. Because it's SO much easier to make a customer drive 30 miles round trip to look at something they DON'T have for sale than to be responsible when constructing the listing. ALWAYS take Sandy's listings with a grain of salt. My advice is to always call ahead of time to ask if the item in their listing photograph actually exists. In my case, it didn't. read more

Went to an estate sale in Fallbrook today put my name on the list and they are letting people who came after me. When I questioned it they were rude and disrespectful. They were very Unorganized and did not practice safety standards with safe distance. While we are waiting in the hot sun they did offer us a cool refreshment that was flat and bad to the taste.
