What really sets them apart, though, is their communication. They actually respond to questions via text and are always friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. That might sound like a small thing, but anyone who regularly goes to estate sales knows how many companies simply don't respond to messages at all! Teri and Diana make everything so easy. And on top of being professional and organized, they are just SO much fun! They're warm, welcoming, friendly, and always seem happy to see you. There's such a great atmosphere at their sales, and you can tell they genuinely care about both their clients and their customers. I imagine running estate sales is very difficult when the public are competitive or just plain rude and they interact with people with such grace. Bravo! As a shopper, it's easy to see why their sales stand out: warm welcomes, genuine enthusiasm for each sale, fair pricing, beautiful staging, great photography and social media, and a fun environment that makes people want to come back. I've been on both sides of the estate sale process -- as a shopper, and also helping deal with a family estate -- and I can honestly say I would recommend them both to families looking for someone trustworthy to handle a sale and shoppers looking for beautiful, interesting finds. I've been going to their sales for over a year now, probably at least a dozen of them, and I've spent many thousands of dollars there on everything from antiques and collectibles to things I just needed around the house. Diana and Teri are sisters and co-owners, and their family is involved too -- their mom Judith and Teri's daughter Antonia. It really does feel like a family-run business in the best way. They are warm, hardworking, organized, honest, and very good at what they do. Their pricing is fair, and the environment is fun to shop. They do price some of the more unique or high-quality items on the higher side at first, but that makes sense to me. Those pieces deserve a chance to bring a strong price, especially on day one, and like most estate sales, pricing may be adjusted later if something hasn't sold. One of the things I love most is that they seem to care about the story behind the home. When it makes sense, they honor the person who lived there and collected those things over a lifetime. That part really matters to me. Their sales can get very busy, and I've personally watched them deal with big crowds, pressure, and people who are not always behaving well. They still manage to keep things moving, keep it fair, and keep the mood fun. Honestly, "grace under pressure" is the phrase that comes to mind because that is how they all are. I especially want to mention Antonia because I've seen her at the jewelry counter many times, and that is probably one of the most intense spots at any estate sale. People can get pushy and competitive around jewelry and valuables. I've always seen her be firm, organized, fair, and kind, even when customers were clearly out of line. There is a difference between being rude and holding boundaries in a chaotic environment. Another thing worth mentioning is that they have a great reputation. I hear good things about them not just from shoppers, but even from people who work in the estate sale world, which says a lot. Whether you are hiring someone to run a sale or just shopping their sales, I think Integrity First Sales is one of the best. They have earned my trust, my repeat business, and my enthusiastic recommendation.

Their prices are a tad high for some things, which I found odd as a simple internet search will show what items are actually going for vs ideal prices. I've no idea whether they take credit cards or not as their listings don't indicate. And they have this really odd method of making the buyer walk back/forth 2-3 times to pay for items. You have to stand in line to get a piece of paper with all the prices of your purchase on it. You then have to leave those items, to avoid theft they say, walk to a different table to pay for your items, did not receive a receipt, BTW. Then you have to walk to a different location, having to weave through other customers waiting in line to get a box for your purchases. THEN...you have to go back to the original line, again, getting in the way of other customers waiting to purchase, to pick up your paid for items. This last time, I had to extricate my stuff from the hands of another customer, as the woman who was supposed to be watching everything, well, wasn't. There were numerous complaints from customers and the response I heard from someone who works for this company was, "well it works for us." Well, while it may WORK for you, it doesn't work for your customers as I saw two different people put their stuff down and walk away after having shopped inside the home for more than 30 minutes. This does NOT work for your customers. Ever heard of a straight line? Or have the customers waiting in line to pay, simply follow the outside of an "L"? Start at one end with items for purchase, items are tally'd, move to next person, pay for items, pick up box after paying for items as they are leaving. This keeps EVERYONE moving in one direction and no back/forth or having to step into lines and interfere with other customers. It's simple, common sense. I know of at least 6 people, the 2 who left, me and the 3 women I brought with me who will not attend another one of their sales again until they put a better system in place. As to how they are for those having the estate sale? No idea.

Warning to Potential Clients:…read more I'm writing this review to share my unfortunate experience with Family Estate Services--not out of anger, but to help others avoid the same issues I faced. I only received the payment I was owed after threatening legal action, which should never be necessary in a professional business relationship. Initially, Lisa presented herself as trustworthy, which led me to feel comfortable giving her access to my home while I was out of state for an estate sale. Unfortunately, that trust was seriously violated. Without my permission, her team used my appliances, causing a washing machine overflow that flooded my garage. I returned to find further damage, including a metal salt shaker cap jammed in the garbage disposal and adhesive Velcro stuck to a windowpane. None of this was reported or approved. A contractor who was working on-site informed me that a young male staff member urinated on the bathroom floor--something he had to personally bring to Lisa's attention to be cleaned. Both bathrooms were left filthy when I returned. More concerning was the inappropriate and unwanted behavior of an older male employee, who made advances toward me. I made it clear to Lisa that he was not to return to my property. Looking back, I regret not ending the contract then. I strongly caution other women--regardless of marital status--not to be alone with any male employee from this company. After the estate sale, Lisa repeatedly delayed payment with excuse after excuse: she thought her husband mailed the check, she was in the hospital, her mother had an injury, complications with a family adoption, and so on. Despite my patience, it became clear--especially after reading similar reviews from past clients--that this was a pattern of avoidance and unprofessionalism. Lisa seemed to count on clients giving up. She took advantage of my understanding nature, and I felt manipulated, underpaid, and disrespected. Only after I threatened small claims court did I receive my payment. What started as a professional agreement became a deeply stressful and disappointing ordeal.
