I truly appreciate how attentive Dr. Arceo is to my needs regarding medication for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Depression and Insomnia. I never feel rushed. He always takes the time to not only listen to me, but whenever there's a medication change he fully explains his reasoning for the change, how the medication works, and what type of outcome I should anticipate from trying this new medication. I've never had a psychiatrist explain everything so clearly to me. Thanks to Dr. Arceo, I now have a handle on my insomnia. My depression has subsided quite a bit. He also educated me on the anxiety medication I prefer and he's happy to continue prescribing me my preferred meds as long as they continue to help. Help from the receptionist and other office staff has also improved greatly. Phone calls are answered relatively quickly. I'm really glad I stayed with Dr. Arceo. This is the best mental health care I've received in a long time.

But also Dr Arceo told us he would no longer be taking patients as of last Wednesday (9/18/24)." I showed her proof that I made the appointment earlier than 9/18/24 but the scheduler stated that Dr. Arceo wouldn't honor the appointment because he's still no longer taking new patients. A long wait time in a medical office is one thing. Being told your confirmed appointment is cancelled and can't be rescheduled when you arrive is a 0/5 level of business function.

Personally, I have severe depression and insomnia while I was going to ALLIANCE MENTAL HEALTH, unfortunately their treatment WAS NEVER HELPFUL. I didn't know why until I finally found a GREAT PSYCHIATRIST Who is an actual MD! He began spending time listening to me. I actually felt heard for the first time in many years. These mid-level providers who mostly are NP or PA's at Alliance are not able to prescribe various medications because they operate under a blanket policy plus they don't have the expertise to provide the necessary diagnosis in most cases and they're fearful of making mistakes. I had one particular provider say I wasn't being truthful about a prescription he said he would call in but then he denied he ever said that! That was enough for me to leave their services! Good thing because I may have still been there! Shame on him for putting me on the spot like that! Thankfully I am finished with Alliance Mental Health Care for good!

I started seeing Jordan in October 2025. I expressed the potential of ADHD. I also had anxiety and…read moredepression and Jordan insisted that I treat those first before looking into an ADHD diagnosis. When I asked about the possibility of untreated/undiagnosed ADHD making my anxiety and depression worse, he agreed it could be a possibility but ultimately decided not to look into ADHD. He put me on some meds that unfortunately did not work for me and at the end of December I decided to go off of them and take a little break. Well, I ended up going to ADHD center of Las Vegas where I ultimately got diagnosed with ADHD. Not only that, but in my report it mentions that my anxiety and depression is most likely related to the fact that I had undiagnosed ADHD. Huh. Well, now that I had that diagnosis I called to see if we could now treat this. Doug (who is great) told me that Jordan wasn't looking to treat anybody with ADHD at the moment but would ask since I was already established. He called back and asked if I could send over the diagnosis report and they would get back to me. This felt super weird but I agreed. Then I got the call that they wouldn't be taking me back. I understand not wanting to treat ADHD, but asking for my diagnosis then ultimately telling me no felt weird personal and intentional. Very unfortunate but I felt the need to write this review to inform others of my experience.

Looking for better answer to aid in the twins healing process I decided to seek the advice from…read moreother resources in the community. The proper balance between mind and spirit is what I am seeking. The current psychiatrist that they are seeing did put them on medication. The side effects of these medicines are scary and I do not want them to be something they are on for years. Seeking new answers to current issues they are experiencing, I am hoping medication will be a second decision made. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. When I checked into their office the lobby area is very small but we are not going to sit here very long. Plus outside the office in the building that the suite is located in the lobby is huge with tables to sit at and a large tan couch if one seeks real comfort. After filling out the paperwork we were called back to the room where we would meet the doctor. The doctor who took care of us was very helpful and pleasant. Her assistant was charming as well. Feeling very comfortable the doctor and her assistant put us at ease as we discussed the twins business. The doctor informed me of what services that they offer and addressed my concerns about the medications that the twins were currently taking. They offer wonderful and caring psychiatrist here that if have too will medicate the patient, as needed per case. They evaluated the medicines they were taking. The doctor also took into consideration family history and if a diagnosis of the twins is necessary. All could not be accomplished in this visit so I will be returning for another visit, in the mean time the doctors suggestions will be applied to our lives.

I have been to a handful of mental health/counseling locations here within the past 5 years...I know what is out there, junk!! I was presently surprised to say the least. We are new to Medicaid and we were seen that very next day. Now you know, as soon as they hear Medicaid, it's usually going to be booked way out! Nope. And never looked down upon us for it, I appreciate that! I look forward to being seen here as well as my daughter.
