He was the first therapist I ever spoke to and I knew from the first session with him that I did not want to see anyone else. Sawyer is a top notch professional in his field and here's why. He's empathetic, compassionate, non-judgmental. Sitting with him makes you feel seen and heard. He holds space for you to process, grieve, laugh, cry, reflect, celebrate - whatever you need and I feel safe to do it around him. I trust him with all the things that weigh on my mind and heart. Beyond feeling like I have a safe place to share intimate details of my life, Sawyer gives me specific tactics to combat and cope with whatever I am working through. At my request, he's recommended multiple books to me that I read and absorb and they've all helped me along exponentially. He's knowledgeable, accessible, kind. He's transformed my life by helping me establish boundaries, break patterns I no longer want to repeat, have more fulfilling relationships with those around me, and offered me invaluable insight into myself that has brought me peace, happiness, confidence, and a stronger self-esteem. I have so much gratitude for Sawyer. I could not recommend him more.

Jackson Nightshade is the worst therapist my friend has had in over 10 years…read more From what I have heard, and seen during their sessions, he is 5-10 minutes late to every session. When he does show up, he doesn't allow them to speak for longer than a few minutes without interrupting. Even though he is an intern, he has no professionalism at all. He has scheduled appointments without their knowledge, and gotten upset when they didn't show up. He doesn't listen to them, or ask professional questions ; His questions are always trying to learn more for his own personal benefit and never to ask questions to help better them and their personal growth. A session they had recently he asked them how they know of their own existence after having knowledge of them having psychosis and not always knowing if they or anyone else truly exists. Not once has he tried to help them learn coping skills, or give guidance. He consistently tells them he doesn't understand their open relationship, mental illness, and so much more they struggle with daily. My friend has told me on multiple occasions, they never want to attend sessions with him, or anyone else anymore due to the experiences with him. He has not once helped them grow or get better, and since seeing him, I can see them getting worse, closing off, and letting their agoraphobia get so much worse. They tend to end the sessions upset, frustrated, and feeling extremely unheard, unseen, and forgotten about. Do yourself a favor if you are thinking of seeing him as a therapist, and go find someone else. He isn't worth the energy and stress.

I have been going to lifebridge and being treated by Dr. Fontenelle-Gilmer for several years. I am…read moreextremely happy with the treatment, therapy and medications which she has prescribed and feel grateful that I found her. Dr. Fontenelle is caring, intuitive and her approach to dealing with hard to deal with issues is excellent. The reason for the one less star rating (4 stars instead of 5) is the experiences I've had with the reception staff. They have been inconsistent, difficult and acting outside the range of their duties. They are not trained to issue medical opinions regarding my care and medications and yet both of the reception staff, Jeanette and Serena, have seen fit to do that. One glaring example is Jeanette telling me that the dosage which the doctor had been prescribing for Clonazepam was "way too high." I am going through some very serious issues and Dr. Fontenelle gave me a dosage of 1-2 tablets, .5 mg, twice a day as needed, so I was receiving 60 tablets every 15 days for several months. After Jeanette told me her opinion that the dosage was "way too high," the prescription which was sent to the pharmacy stayed at 1-2 tablets, .5mg, twice a day as needed, 60 tablets (which would keep it as a 15 day dosage) but was for some reason changed to a 30 day period. I was unaware of this change and when I saw Dr. Fontenelle yesterday she said she would keep the dosage of Clonazepam "the same" which I took to mean the 15 day dosage and she electronically sent the prescription to the pharmacy. When I called the pharmacy, they confirmed that the prescription which was sent in was 1-2 tablets, .5 mg, twice as day as needed and it was a 15 day dosage. When I called Lifebridge to inform them of this, they told me that the dosages for all of my medications has been 30 day dosages and the Clonazepam was not for 15 days. They went on and on about how the doctor could lose her license and the prescription was for 30 days and that it was only "my understanding" that it was 15 days. I told her that it was not just my understanding but that for several months I would go to the pharmacy every two weeks and pick up my 15 day dosage and the pharmacy confirmed that the current dosage was for 15 days. This is a very serious issue which neither Jeanette nor Serena should be issuing their opinion on.
