The background as to why I was searching for chiropractic care is a bit long, but necessary to understand everything. When I was a kid, I was told by a Dr. that I had one leg longer than the other. That was it. Never questioned it. Fast forward to last year, and someone close to me, who is a chiropractor asked if I'd ever had xrays done to confirm what I was told. No was my answer. I left that area shortly thereafter, and when I arrived in Johnson City for a few weeks, I went to a chiropractors' office. She never even touched me and told me I needed orthotics. That visit didn't go well, and I was hesitant to try again. My next stop was Dr. Myers, and that was all I needed. He listened, took notes, was down on the floor measuring and asessing my ankles, legs, joints...most importantly, he listened to me. He took xrays and actually confirmed what my friend had suggested, as well as finding some other issues that hadn't manifested into a problem yet. Dr. Myers was very thorough when reviewing treatment with me, and went over things in great detail. Not only that, but he's a great guy to talk to, and very friendly. The lady that runs his front desk is very nice as well. She always makes the visits pleasant. Dr. Myers treated me for a few weeks until I moved, and even after being out of town for a few months, when I come back, he talks to me like I haven't even left. While in town, he'll call and check on me to see how I'm doing as well. You just can't get care like this everywhere. Dr. Myers began what was to become a long road to correction, and I feel great. Whenever I'm back in Johnson City, he's who I visit. I recommend him to everyone I know.

He has had a ton of medical issues, one main one being his back. In the military they treated the pain, not the cause. He was at a point that he couldn't stand, sit, walk, etc., without pain. He wasn't able to do anything. I have grown up utilizing chiropractic care, but it's been about 7-10 years since I was able to go. I had been seeking out pain management for us, because that's all we thought we could do. Whilst looking for a doctor, I reached out online asking local folks. I had heard about Jones Chiro but didnt think we would qualify based on our insurance, or that it would work. I thought we were too far gone for chiropractic care to do anything. Well, Jones Chiro themselves, reached out to me via FB. They were willing to cover the cost if our insurance denied us. So I thought, what the heck, we'll try. My husband was extremely skeptical. We are early 40's but felt like we were 60. We went, got to get our new patient work up, including an appt with an RN. It was a great start! The nurse practitioner even brought up some medicine interactions that may be causing some issues for myself. 3-4 docs over the years have prescribed these same meds, and no one said a word! That is a huge thing, and glad to now be working with one of the NP's who is willing to research, for a better combo of meds. After 3 weeks, 6 sessions, 2 medical massages later....WOAH! My husband went from hardly able to walk, sit, tie shoes, bend over, to walking 10 miles on average a day!!!!!! He got a new job post military retirement, that he started a week after going to Jones Chiropractic. He is an entirely NEW PERSON!! He can walk, bend, lift, etc!! There is no way he could have done this job before getting adjustments. My shoulder/neck is so much better, as is my low back. Ive not had a migraine in 3 weeks, and I usually go through 5-9 RX migraine pills a month!!!! I feel so much better myself and my entire body feels better! Went here to be treated for a MVA. After receiving rude treatment over the phone when I first…read morecalled to make an appointment I proceeded to seek treatment here despite my better judgement (they were highly recommended by a close relative). The PIP on my insurance wasn't a very large balance and I was concerned about out of pocket costs- they assured me that they would keep track of the benefit balance remaining and would work with me to ensure we didn't exceed that amount without prior discussion. I go in after about 3 weeks of treatment to be informed that they would no longer be treating me, and that I had a past due balance of over $2500! Whoa! What happened to coordinating with me to make sure we stayed within my coverage limits? Also, and I'd mentioned this every single time I went in- the two different doctors they kept scheduling me with both weren't coordinating my care betwixt them, nor had either one of them EVER satisfactorily adjusted my neck or hips. I'm still battling with them over the balance due and living with chronic hip and neck pain. They used me indiscriminately as a cash cow without regard for my health and well being.
