I just got off the phone after calling to ask about my owed balance for a treatment I did not…read morerealize I was accepting when I came back in for my "X ray consultation" and was told it was time to begin services after we reviewed the X ray. I'd expressed my concern of wanting to proceed until I'd consulted with a neurologist and I only used this office originally for the cheap next day X ray when no real doctors were able to get me in quickly. Turns out that because I did not agree to go forward and continue with my proposed treatment plan that what I was told and under the assumption was part of my "zero cost today consultation" was billed for $125 dollars. I called to pay my balance and express my concern that this felt like I was duped and I had to sign my agreement after the services were already done, though I did not actually want or need chiro work as I'm dealing with an AI issue and now moving out of state for treatment of that. Had I not been spoken to the way that Dr Michael just spoke to me I'd have paid my balance and gone on with my day but I feel that the attitude and blaming me for not understanding their procedure warranted writing this review. If you're not 100% certain you want or need to go forward with chiro work, be wary going forward with Integral wellness or you'll get yelled at for being confused by their procedure and have to pay anyway. Balance is paid, I wasn't seeking free work I couldn't afford, I wanted to explain my concern and was basically told "too bad, you got it wrong not us, now pay up" I hope you're extra $125 dollars is worth this 1* review.

The background as to why I was searching for chiropractic care is a bit long, but necessary to understand everything. When I was a kid, I was told by a Dr. that I had one leg longer than the other. That was it. Never questioned it. Fast forward to last year, and someone close to me, who is a chiropractor asked if I'd ever had xrays done to confirm what I was told. No was my answer. I left that area shortly thereafter, and when I arrived in Johnson City for a few weeks, I went to a chiropractors' office. She never even touched me and told me I needed orthotics. That visit didn't go well, and I was hesitant to try again. My next stop was Dr. Myers, and that was all I needed. He listened, took notes, was down on the floor measuring and asessing my ankles, legs, joints...most importantly, he listened to me. He took xrays and actually confirmed what my friend had suggested, as well as finding some other issues that hadn't manifested into a problem yet. Dr. Myers was very thorough when reviewing treatment with me, and went over things in great detail. Not only that, but he's a great guy to talk to, and very friendly. The lady that runs his front desk is very nice as well. She always makes the visits pleasant. Dr. Myers treated me for a few weeks until I moved, and even after being out of town for a few months, when I come back, he talks to me like I haven't even left. While in town, he'll call and check on me to see how I'm doing as well. You just can't get care like this everywhere. Dr. Myers began what was to become a long road to correction, and I feel great. Whenever I'm back in Johnson City, he's who I visit. I recommend him to everyone I know.

He wasn't able to do anything. I have grown up utilizing chiropractic care, but it's been about 7-10 years since I was able to go. I had been seeking out pain management for us, because that's all we thought we could do. Whilst looking for a doctor, I reached out online asking local folks. I had heard about Jones Chiro but didnt think we would qualify based on our insurance, or that it would work. I thought we were too far gone for chiropractic care to do anything. Well, Jones Chiro themselves, reached out to me via FB. They were willing to cover the cost if our insurance denied us. So I thought, what the heck, we'll try. My husband was extremely skeptical. We are early 40's but felt like we were 60. We went, got to get our new patient work up, including an appt with an RN. It was a great start! The nurse practitioner even brought up some medicine interactions that may be causing some issues for myself. 3-4 docs over the years have prescribed these same meds, and no one said a word! That is a huge thing, and glad to now be working with one of the NP's who is willing to research, for a better combo of meds. After 3 weeks, 6 sessions, 2 medical massages later....WOAH! My husband went from hardly able to walk, sit, tie shoes, bend over, to walking 10 miles on average a day!!!!!! He got a new job post military retirement, that he started a week after going to Jones Chiropractic. He is an entirely NEW PERSON!! He can walk, bend, lift, etc!! There is no way he could have done this job before getting adjustments. My shoulder/neck is so much better, as is my low back. Ive not had a migraine in 3 weeks, and I usually go through 5-9 RX migraine pills a month!!!! I feel so much better myself and my entire body feels better! After receiving rude treatment over the phone when I first…read morecalled to make an appointment I proceeded to seek treatment here despite my better judgement (they were highly recommended by a close relative). The PIP on my insurance wasn't a very large balance and I was concerned about out of pocket costs- they assured me that they would keep track of the benefit balance remaining and would work with me to ensure we didn't exceed that amount without prior discussion. I go in after about 3 weeks of treatment to be informed that they would no longer be treating me, and that I had a past due balance of over $2500! Whoa! What happened to coordinating with me to make sure we stayed within my coverage limits? Also, and I'd mentioned this every single time I went in- the two different doctors they kept scheduling me with both weren't coordinating my care betwixt them, nor had either one of them EVER satisfactorily adjusted my neck or hips. I'm still battling with them over the balance due and living with chronic hip and neck pain. They used me indiscriminately as a cash cow without regard for my health and well being.
