What? A vegan restaurant near the Dali Museum??? Yes please! Totally accidentally walked into this restaurant as I was walking around looking for a place to eat. They have a set menu and they have an english version, so fear not, you know what you are getting!
The restaurant is small, but well lit and you could see the kitchen right in front of you. I sat at the bar and got to see the chef preparing his masterpieces!
The set menu provided me with a soup, an entree, and dessert. I had the miso soup and it was a perfect started for this cold day. And I'm not talking a small bowl of soup, this was like getting a bowl of soup at home with your parents saying you need to eat more! It was a good helping size filled with vegetables.
Then came the entree. You get to choose between 3 options to go on top of your salad and I chose the Seitasauted. The flavors from the vegetables, with a side of rice and beans, was a great combination. Vegans truly know how to make a salad amazing! And the visual effect is eye popping as well.
And then finally dessert. I had a choice between an apple compote or coffee cake and I went with the compote. My goodness, the freshness of the apples and cinnamon...so delicious!
If you happen to be in this area, come to this restaurant. Everything is made fresh, in front of you, and the flavors are on point! What a wonderful stop after going to the Dali Museum...a surrealist painter that lives up to his name and style of work! read more
