What? A vegan restaurant near the Dali Museum??? Yes please! Totally accidentally walked into this…read morerestaurant as I was walking around looking for a place to eat. They have a set menu and they have an english version, so fear not, you know what you are getting! The restaurant is small, but well lit and you could see the kitchen right in front of you. I sat at the bar and got to see the chef preparing his masterpieces! The set menu provided me with a soup, an entree, and dessert. I had the miso soup and it was a perfect started for this cold day. And I'm not talking a small bowl of soup, this was like getting a bowl of soup at home with your parents saying you need to eat more! It was a good helping size filled with vegetables. Then came the entree. You get to choose between 3 options to go on top of your salad and I chose the Seitasauted. The flavors from the vegetables, with a side of rice and beans, was a great combination. Vegans truly know how to make a salad amazing! And the visual effect is eye popping as well. And then finally dessert. I had a choice between an apple compote or coffee cake and I went with the compote. My goodness, the freshness of the apples and cinnamon...so delicious! If you happen to be in this area, come to this restaurant. Everything is made fresh, in front of you, and the flavors are on point! What a wonderful stop after going to the Dali Museum...a surrealist painter that lives up to his name and style of work!

Vegans and veggies - check this place out. Here's your lunch…read moreoption. Green salad and veggie paella. I split this with my 8 year-old for lunch and it was the perfect size. Salad is mixed greens, carrot, tomato, cucumber, onion and walnuts. Light and healthy. Good starter. Note - salad normally comes with átun (like our tuna). Make sure you ask for it without. Veggie paella is rich and filing. Made with asparagus, zucchini, red bell pepper, and fava beans. Add a little lemon - it really brings out the flavors. Note - paella takes 20 minutes and is worth the wait. Also note that it comes in a paella pan, but since we split one, they brought in on separate plates. Service is excellent, food quality is great and it is an easy stop going to our coming from Sa Caleta - just up the steps and through the castle door onto the plaza.

Sadly the food was terrible almost one year later. I ate a tomato and mozzarella salad as a starter. On the menu the mozzarella was labeled as buffalo-mozzarella. i doubt it was buffalo-mozzarella though. It lacked the lightly sour taste it normally has. For the main course I ordered the mixed grill plate. When it came the plate and the food were cold. They reheated the plate and the food in the microwave. They didn't remove the french-fries what caused them to have the texture and the feel like a limb dick. (you know what I mean). The meet was worse though. It was chewy, bland and i couldn't really tell what meat came from what animal. I suspect that they grilled it and then just reheated it. The worst thing was that my chicken leg had been burnt. I scraped of the burned places and tried it. Now i at least don't have to wonder anymore why people don't eat charcoal. Just disgusting. I really love meat but i was considering converting to vegetarianism. What a waste of meat. The animals had to give up their life for this meal. What a waste of life. I wouldn't be so angry and disappointed if i hadn't eaten there a year ago and knew that they were capable of cooking great food. I also have to add that the price was no were near of being acceptable. My disappointment was immeasurable and my evening had been ruined.

We came for a vegan family dinner with 2 vegans and 3 non…read more Place is super small and super hip (dogs, Bob Marley playing, water in pitchers that look like light bulbs... you get the picture). The service is super friendly and the menu is straight up 100% vegan. We ordered veggie burgers and a power bowl - and lots of fresh juices. Everyone seemed pleased with their choices. Juices - lemonade and mint is super refreshing (with and without ginger), Vigor (carrot, turmeric, maca, orange...) is tangy and had just a little bit of bite. Classic burger - my 9 year old vegan said it was "awesome.". I tried it and totally agree. Purple bun is eye-catching (and good), but the burger was almost scary good. Potatoes are sweet potato - with hot sauce (aji amarillo?). Not overly hot, but not for the faint of heart. Note - we didn't know this sauce came in the potatoes, so we didn't know to ask them to leave it off for my son. No problem. They did it on their own. ( Big thanks) Kale power bowl was filling and incredibly flavorful. Pears, pecans, tomato, avacado, and topped with an ice cream of balsamic vinegar and red berries. Seriously good. Best. Salad. Ever. Portions were all more than substantial. Nobody went away hungry or unhappy. But guess what - even though we totally didn't need it after all we ate, we ordered desert. Double chocolate cake with red fruits - liked how it looked on the next table and it did not disappoint. It barely hit the table and was half gone - as you can see in the photo. Had to order a second to have the coffee and chocolate fix I needed. What can I say - it was chocolate cake with berries and nuts. Really tied the meal together. Vegan heaven. I'm not a chocolate person so I settled for the cinnamon raw! Other than this, they also serve tirawmisu, chia parfait, burgers, wraps and brownies! The cinnamon raw was delicious and well-made. Priced at 3.50euros, it was quite reasonable. I would come back and try other stuff on the menu again!
