We walked in with a group of ten in the middle of lunch hours and they warmly welcomed us even tho we didn't have a reservation. (A lot of restaurants in Spain request reservations for parties of 6 plus). We had to split up 8 and 2 in order to be sat. The employees were all kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and had great attitudes. The food was delicious (you have to try La Bomba - like a mashed potato outside and deliciously seasoned ground beef on the inside, and the asparagus appetizer with crispy cheese over sautéed asparagus). The sangria was excellent too! Everyone we dealt with spoke some English and they all made effort toward the hospitality, so that was a nice change(note-lots of restaurants are not "service oriented" so don't be surprised when your order is taken, food is brought, and your server disappears)! Food great, service great, town beautiful. Great walk around town to walk the food off, a Dali museum near restaurant, and lots of photo opps all around the restaurant. Definitely a must do restaurant while in Figueres! read more
