When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

This didn't feel right so I went back to obtain my pathology report and it did not confirm this. I sought a second opinion with the Mohs team at Park Nicollet Dermatology and MOHS Surgery group and there biopsy still showed cancwhere additional tissue needed to be removed. Because of the initial procedure, I now have more scarring and require plastic surgery. I recommend asking detailed questions, verifying credentials, and reviewing your pathology report.

It's not my fault they never filed the claim with the secondary, can't tell how to do their job. Thankfully, our visit was preventative and not for anything very serious... But I thought the wait time was ridiculous, especially for a morning appointment... Not sure how they could already be 65 minutes behind schedule at that hour. The other thing that bothered me was the front desk service. When we walked in, there was one patient in front of us, and 2 people working at the desk. One of the workers was on a call, and the other was doing something on her computer (no patient in front of her). I understand we have to wait our turn, but it would have been nice for her to look up and acknowledge our presence. At least she was polite when it was finally our turn.

I think some people could be more sensitive to excess sugar which shows up as breakouts on the skin. He then proceeds to grab my face and make comments about how bad my breakouts were. I have a rare skin disease and she never told me what it was just handed me a brochure and told me they would have to wait to see if my insurance would improve the injections that I needed to take. I remember distinctly and so does her assistant who agreed with me that she told me to fill out the paperwork and she would submit it. When my condition got so bad that I couldn't work I called them and they had not put the paperwork through. I am in her office right now after waiting 50 minutes to see her and she was verbally abusive, told me that she never said she was going to submit the paperwork even though her assistant, who was helping me with the paperwork and was there in the office and actually agreed with me and said yes, she had said that. Briden lies, and then she gets mean and defensive. She's like a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She should not be practicing. I'm filing her with the Better Business Bureau. I told her that she never said what my condition was, and just handed me a pamphlet and she said "yes I did- you're not remembering." Later, the assistant who was also the scribe agreed with me and she apologized for what happened. I feel bad for the assistant. Briden is a bully and a lair.
