I have been to 5 different Physical Therapy facilities in the last five years and Intecore is easily the best. This company focuses on your health and they care about you as a patient. They are not there just to treat you, but to make you well again. And they stay with you until you are well. I scheduled with this facility twice in the last two months for both recovery from Shoulder Surgery and for Cervical Nerve Impingement. I had previously been to a different facility for my shoulder recovery but after my first visit was told because I was a Monarch patient, they would no longer physically work my shoulder joint or massage the muscles and tendons because Monarch didn't pay enough for that treatment. What? Instead I changed my treatment to Intecore and after just one treatment with Bradon, my Therapist, the stiffness, pain and mobility were greatly improved. After 5 treatments It's almost back to normal. Amazing. There is a difference in Physical Therapy facilities. Intecore cares about its patients more than it's profits. As a young 52 year old with a very active life style I had to undergo a total hip replacement and was unfamiliar (and initially frightened) with all that is required post surgery to regain my mobility, manage the pain and resume my crazy life. I first encountered Intercore Physical Therapy thru a work injury. I had the pleasure of visiting both the Foothill Ranch and Aliso Viejo offices. My very first was with the owner, Andrew Vertson. I was impressed from that moment on. Bradon was my physical therapist prior to shoulder surgery and through out the worker's comp process. He and Andrew helped my better understand what my surgery would entail and what to expect afterwards. They made a painful situation in my life tolerable. When Bradon went on vacation that summer, Adam Skrove became my physical therapist at the Foothill Ranch facility. With Bradon's work on my shoulder post surgery and then Adam's continuing maintenance work on both shoulders and my neck, I have been able to care for both my mother and father in law at the end of their lives and also care for my husband post surgery twice on his spine and once on his neck. That's a lot of care giving for this 60 year old and because of the great care received i have been able to do most, if not all, of my normal everyday activities. My experience at Intecore Physical Therapy was extremely positive. I have had several back surgeries and a hip replacement in the past 6 years and had one physical therapist who worked with me through all my recoveries. However, she moved out of state and I was faced with finding a new therapist. My husband and I live an active lifestyle and are always facing injuries. After several unsuccessful attempts to find someone who would work with me, I was recommended to Adam at Intecore. He listened to what was bothering me and also understood that I was not a novice at physical therapy. Not only was Adam able to fix my problem (my right hip flexor was not happy), he challenged me with stretches and new exercises to correct the problem. After about 6 weeks, the pain went away and I was able to continue with all my physical activities which are cycling, walking and hiking. I highly recommend Adam as he will work with the level that you are comfortable with and continually offers new exercises to assist in your recovery. And these exercises are ones you can add them to your regular exercise/stretch programs you do at home. read more

I had a full knee replacement in late January. I went to intercore for my physical therapy. Little did I know this was going to be my 2nd home for the next 6 months 3 times a weeks. Then because I had problems extending it and had to get a manipulation surgery. I was there 5 times a week. My therapists Curtis was wonderful. He was always encouraging me. There was a time when he was working on my knee and I broke down crying not so much because of the pain but I was very depressed that my leg would not go down. He looked at me and said you are doing great. He came up with different ways to help to get my leg straight and over time we did it!!! I couldn't have done it with out him. The people that work there treat you with respect and most of all they treat you like family. Shandra also worked on my leg a few times and she also is wonderful... Daniel is a young man who works there that also helped me threw the healing process. It's going to be sad when I stop going to pt but I am very thankful to have met all the great people who helped me threw this. Thanks guys and gals.... read more

IPT , Foothill Ranch kind of became my home away from home over several years dealing with my back, knees, shoulders, neck and thumbs. Getting thru a knee replacement and a heart procedure as well during the last year and a half.Shandra Coenen got me through most of all that and now I'm doing very well feeling better than I have in the last 5-10 years. She was always thinking of ways to improve and challenge me to do better. I reacted positively and the rest is history. There were some long hard difficult therapy sessions but we both prevailed. I am now in my 5th month of some serious gym sessions three time a week. Getting stronger and fitter than I have in a very long time. I want also to commend the rest of the staff for their kind and considerate assistance during these sessions. Sarah will make a great Certified Physical Therapist. Jani kept it all together with the doctors and insurances. I have been to Intercore Physical therapy on two different occasions. Both times I was there I was treated incredibly well by a caring staff. I always felt like they were family I had never met before and was welcomed in to their home for the first time. I know everyone by their first name and they know me as well. So big shout outs go to Yvonne, Shandra, Curtis, Mary Claire (Fight on), Daniel, Sarah, Jeff, Chris, and to the boss in the front office, Janie. During my second stint I am recovering from ACL and Meniscus surgery. PT has been great here at intercore. I have made dramatic improvements over the last four months. I expect to be fully recovered during the next 6-8 weeks. I am super hopeful I will never have to have PT again in my life but if I do I will most certainly return to Intercore. I went in to work on correcting my shoulder and within 6 weeks have seen incredible improvement. I've worked with Curtis, Shandra, and Yvonne as therapists since I've been going and all three have been very polite and knowledgeable. They all do a great job educating and explaining in laymans terms what the anatomical issues are and how the treatment and exercises will resolve them. The aides Ashely and Daniel do a great job too. They typically have everything i need for my exercises ready before I get there and they are patient and do a great job showing how to do the exercises and politely giving advice on proper form for exercises. Everyone there is very friendly and going there feels like just hanging out with some really cool people and getting great treatment and care in the process. It's a very welcoming environment, especially if you like to talk fantasy football. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews -- but I had to let everybody know my treatment at Intercore especially by Bradon was exceptional. Consider this... I live in Irvine and I travel to Intercore (Foothill Ranch) specifically to be treated by Bradon. I wouldn't drive that far if I didn't feel they were the best. Bradon's combination of compassion, firm encouragement, healing hands and of coarse the humor make it easier to go through the discomfort that is Physical Therapy. I have done PT at 3 different companies but Andrew (the Owner) and his entire staff keep me coming back. Most recently I suffered a serious 40% - 50% snap tear of my Rotor Cuff. Because of Bradon's efforts I was able to avoid surgery and get back to running my company... knock on wood. I started PT at Intecore after bi-lateral knee replacement surgery, 3 weeks post-op. I went in with very high expectations for my recovery and thanks to the amazing staff my expectations were fully realized. My therapist was Bradon and he was great! He worked with me 3 times a week for 3+ months and it was a great experience. At times I was very concerned about achieving the flexion and extension goals that are so important for successful recovery, but Bradon was absolutely positive and encouraging throughout the process. Like the other reviewers have said, everyone there is terrific, front desk, staff and therapists. I can't enough good things about them. I highly recommend this group to anyone needing PT and will be forever grateful for the level and quality of care they provided! read more

I had the pleasure of working with every physical therapist at Intecore and all were top notch. In addition to helping me through a tough time post rotator cuff surgery, Curtis, Shandra, Katherine, Yvonne and Sidney, were all a pleasure to work with. While I must admit, I will enjoy all of the time I got back in my week while not having to go to PT, I will miss all of my friends at Intecore. This includes all of the super friendly aides Noni, Daniel, Emily and Sarah too. Janie and Pam were also EXTREMELY helpful with booking appointments and making changes if/when needed. I came to Intecore following a shoulder surgery. I was a bit worried because just the slightest twitch of my arm would cause me great pain. My worries were quickly put at ease during my first day of physical therapy. Ashleigh, Curtis, Adam and the rest of the Intecore Team not only provided excellent care, but they truly cared about you and your personal progress. It was reassuring knowing that I wasn't alone on my road to recovery and that it really was a team effort. I just finished my last day of PT and I now have full mobility back in my shoulder. This physical therapy place is the most loving and fun place I have ever been to! Everyone takes the time to get to know their clients and make them feel welcome. The front desk is always available so you have someone to help you figure out what services you need. I love everyone here! Curtis and Shandra are super amazing and know what they are doing. They are very nice and they definitely keep the patients entertained by talking to them and getting to know them. I myself am always laughing the whole time I am there because of the amazing staff. This is the best Physical Therapy facility that I have been to. I ruptured my Achilles tendon while playing soccer and had surgery to reattach the tendon. I needed physical therapy for 5 months to get back to the point where I could start training on my own. I am very happy I chose intecore. My physical therapist, Kathryn, and all of the other therapists and assistants were top-notch and I know that I would not be where I am now, able to play soccer again pain-free, if it were not for them. I went from not able to walk to now running/cutting/jumping pain-free. I am thankful for that and I STRONGLY recommend intecore for anyone who is injured and wants to get back to their injury-free and pain-free self. read more

First of all Everyone at this facility is very very nice. I broke my ankle in August and had 11 screws and a plate or two. I was not able to put any weight on it for seven weeks! I had no idea that the real pain would start when I was able to start walking again. I was in so much pain when I started with this group. Yvonne told me she would have me back in shape in four weeks. But after 14 sessions, I am able to do everything I used to do including working out for 45 minutes at a time. I have my life back! What a wonderful place to go for Physical Therapy. Everyone seems very happy and loves what they do. My therapist was Bradon Griffith who is definitely an expert at what he does, I had shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff as well as a frozen shoulder and started therapy 4 days after surgery. I must admit it was painful but Bradon knew what to do and how far to push me. I went from no movement in my arm and shoulder to full movement. I am now back playing Pickle Ball and Paddle Tennis and much to my Orthopedic Surgeon's surprise I will soon be back on the tennis court. Thank you to Bradon and Intecore for giving me back my life. Intecore Physical Therapy is the best! Last year, 2016 was quite a year for me! With my accident happening in February, it brought me to Intecore Love the staff and all the support help they have. My physical therapy journey would last nine months due to needing to get a second opinion from another Orthopedic surgeon! After a major knee surgery and a knee manipulation Intecore got me through a very hard recovery. Their knowledge and experience makes them stand out. I have loved every visit to Intecore Physical Therapy! All of the employees are kind, welcoming, and very helpful! A huge thank you to Shandra for being the best Physical Therapist and helping me with my knee issues to make it possible to dance every week.
