So my car insurance went from $100 to $70 with $25 in life insurance. So it seemed like a good deal. However when I cancelled my car insurance they didn't cancel the life insurance. And when I tried to cancel the life insurance I had to submit a cancellation form in person, which was denied 3 times for various reasons. Bottom line, I think they were playing tricks, and they might do this sort of thing if you ever try to make a claim.

USAA had raised my premiums several times and become much less responsive and customer focused than it had been. Bryant's proposal for similar integrated insurance coverage saved me just over $2,000/year, which by itself was GREAT!!!! Over the past couple of years, I've reached out to him and his team several times. They have been pleasant, knowledgeable, and very capable in addressing all of my concerns and resolving any issues. (Sadly, I am not the easiest person to serve) Last month my car was hit by a US Foods semi parked in the middle of the turn lanes in downtown Provo. Apparently the driver did not see my car beside him (in the driving lane), and he pulled into it when the light turned green in front of my car. Bryant and his team provided some valuable assistance in navigating this situation. I highly recommend Bryant to other customers with high expectations who are also concerned about costs.

The professional home inspection i had done a few months prior doesn't mention that faucet, so it was obviously a sudden and unexpected thing. So I filed my FIRST and ONLY claim, and it took these sloths over a month before they FINALLY decided to NOT pay for ANY of the damage, citing "wear and tear" of the faucet. Apparently they expect you to have brand new plumbing fixtures in your house at ALL times. Even before you move in to an older house. And this was after i spent $1900 on a tree trimming service that their inspector said was necessary to keep the policy open. The ONLY thing they were concerned with from the beginning was finding a way to avoid paying the claim. I have filed a formal complaint with the State of Utah and am currently looking for a new insurance company. But honestly, what is the point of even having insurance if they have loopholes for every situation?? What a SCAM!!!!

When my wife and I married I left Farmers and an excellent agent (Ron Taggart) in the Sandy, UT area and fell under State Farms and Shay's office. I am only aware of him and Patty working there. In every instance when I have tried to get help with an auto question, refinancing etc., their office has been extremely slow in responding. Our loan officer (handling a refi for us atm) commented this morning in fact that, "My processor emailed him yesterday. And I also sent him an email as a follow up today and have not heard back from him." This happened a couple of weeks ago as well when trying to get our homeowner insurance policy/proof of coverage info. from the insurance office. And, no replies to (a) call(s) either apparently until Shay finally called to say sorry he was busy, Patty was out etc. and that he had gotten the info. over (very tardy). The loan officer, in talking to me about the hangup -- as we are trying to schedule a closing at title -- also noted, "Typically insurance companies get us what we need right away with [sic] the drop of a hat, not sure what this guy's hang up is...." Easily up to 4 decades! House and autos. But lately . . . office almost NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! So you leave a message, THEY NEVER CALL BACK!!! There was a severe hail storm Aug. '24 damaging my roof. I was sweeping up shovels full of the granules for weeks after every rain storm! State Farm said that wasn't hail damage! Roofers did! Houses all around me were getting their roofs replaced, including a house next door, a house across the street, a house 3 houses away from me. There's one 6 houses up the street that had damage but the owner was afraid of getting a rate increase and didn't get it repaired. I mapped no less than 18 houses less than a half mile from mine that got their roofs replaced, and that's just the ones I could find. State Farm sent a man to inspect my roof, and a while later I got a letter of denial. I contacted a roofing company who inspected it and all but promised that the hail damage was real and they'd get the claim approved, but they said State Farm was one of the hardest companies to honor claims. I waited months to hear a resolution, and during that time SIX other roofers looked at may roof, including the contractor who installed it 17 years ago, and ALL said it was definitely hail damage. One day a woman from State Farm calls and tells me the claim is denied because "There's no damage to the metal." Shortly thereafter I managed, miracle of miracles, to get in contact with Shay Condor my agent told him I was quitting State Farm if they didn't approve my claim. Inasmuch as agents aren't involved with claims, he wanted look into it and call me back. That's been a couple months ago and he never called back! I was talking to a neighbor about it, and he had a brother that handled things like this. He came over and spent 30 minutes and determined that there WAS metal damage from the hail. He put in a reinspect to State Farm, that's a month ago and State Farm hasn't responded. Liberty Mutual did my neighbor's house and Farmers did the widow's across the street. Just saying.
