Requests are not answered in a timely manner, I have to consistently follow up to get the adjustments needed on my policy and now I am at risk of not submitting documents on time because this location has been lacking on their end. I started my policy a year ago, few months later I realized my insurance had jumped from $430 to over $600 I called Max and emailed him several times and never got a call back from him or any other person at the agency. I was in and out of the hospital and the payment was on automatic withdraw from my bank account so it felt out my radar. Well at the year anniversary the price went up to $740 no calls, no letters to explain the hike in price not even directly form State Farm. This time I called once again, several times, no response from Max, I told the agent that answer the phone that I needed to cancel my policy and she said only Max can do that for me. Max did not returned my calls here am I a week later with another broker already and Max did not call back to discontinue my policy. I've asked for new quotes but I get a lot of "others are coming back higher" or "we're still waiting on another quote" and this year I got ignored completely while my phone calls never got returned. However my cancellation email was responded to in a timely manner. I went to another broker: over 40% off this year's renewal rate (felt so cheap we even added 10% coverage but we were under covered before). The only explanation I can come up with is they aren't into brokering condo insurance (anymore?) and they didn't care whether I stayed with them or paid an obscene rate.
