In my search to find pampering services closer to home I noticed InStyle Nails while walking into get my eyebrows threaded a few stores down. I was happy to hear I was able to get right in for a pedicure without an appointment or wait time. The salon is nicely decorated and the chairs are newer from the ones in the photos I saw online so good to see they maintain the space well. I like my water hot and I was happy that it was HOT as asked. Many places I'll say that and it's still luke warm. My pedicure was super relaxing and the chair massage was just the right amount of pressure needed. Itbwas definitely what I needed after having 3 back to back doctor appointments that morning. Normally, I will play on my phone or iPad during them but I just sat there with my eyes closed during this one. While walking out I got busted trying to take some pictures and was asked if everything was okay. I let them know it was great. I was asked if it was my first visit and when I said yes, was given a punch card for $12 off any $15 service on the 10th visit. I love businesses that give back to their loyal customers. I will be back. Not only was my service great but to be able to get a pedicure, my eyesbrows threaded and do my Publix shopping all in the same plaza a few blocks from home is perfect! read more

I was really pleased with my deluxe pedicure service. The salon is clean and spacious, with several staff available so we didn't have to wait when we did a walk in appointment. The massage chairs worked well, with several settings you can adjust with the remote control. The tools they used were all new out of the package except for the nail clippers. I felt confident in the cleaning process they use. Both of our nail technicians were nice, polite and very thorough and attentive to detail. My mom gets a pedi about once a year so when she walked in with toenails clicking on the floor and about 10" of dead skin, I was expecting a snicker or two and a lot of smack talking from the technicians but he was polite and took it in good humor. My nails are pretty perfect in terms of the polish. The leg massage was nice and long with a good amount of pressure (my favorite part!). I got a pedicure, and she did a good job. BUT I had an appointment ,and I sat in the chair with my feet in the water for 30 minutes before they started. I watched as other clients arrived 15 minutes after me, and they got started on them before me. After I sat there for 30 minutes, I asked if ANYONE was going to help me? I found it odd that the entire time I was waiting, not one single person came up to me to explain why they were 30 minutes late.....or let me know that someone would be with me soon? They just ignored me. Very bad first impression of this place. I won't be back. read more

My old nail tech moved and had to find a new one. A friend recommended Nina. I am so thankful I found her. She does beautiful work. I have referred others to her that have all said she does the best nails they've ever had. Her nails are thin and shaped perfectly. Under new owners/management - I was pleasantly surprised to see new friendly faces. The shop has been redecorated too. The pedi chairs in the back has soothing ambient music you can relax in without all the chatter and they even give you a cold bottle of water. I can start by saying RIP OFF! I went here with both my daughters, one which is 11 years old. They had no discount for children. She got a pedicure with regular polish that came off the next day. She also got a gel manicure that came off half of her nails the second day. My other daughter got a gel mani pedi, and I got a mani pedi with regular polish. The total was $170!!!!! This is unacceptable and at least we should have long lasting polish!!!! I will never go back and hope people read this before attempting this place. I must say the technicians were very nice. This was an absolutely awful experience. I simply went in to get my acrylic overlay removed since I'm moving and don't have time for the upkeep. The gentleman tech (I didn't get his name) told the client next to me that she didn't know how to "keep herself up" (mind you she looked VERY clean and was very well dressed) because she had an ingrown toe nail and she needed a past due nail fill. The lady was trying to make conversation with her tech talking to him about different nail styles and what he preferred; he was quick to make a snarky remark about "the client pays me. It doesn't matter what I like. I do what they pay me to do." Though a moment later he complained to her about her "long nails" She also was upset because she wanted a French dip and the man apparently told her that he "couldn't do it because her nails we TOO LONG" (they weren't long at all!!!!!) Moving on to myself; They let me soak in acetone for 20 minutes before they harshly drilled off the rest of the acrylic on my nails, then the pregnant tech had the nerve to tell me that "I need to take care of my nails" I simply replied "I DO. Getting your nails done with an acrylic overlay then having it drilled off destroys your natural nails. I'm sitting in my car typing this. Still picking off chunks of acrylic from my less than paper thin nails. I will not be going back to this establishment. This is a stern warning for anyone looking for a great nail salon; THIS IS NOT THE ONE. Not only do you get bullied; you get less than subpar work. read more

Julie is good...other than her, this is the worst place I've ever been to. STAY AWAY!! First, I walked in and the older woman told me there's a 10 minute wait. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked if they could do that and she said yes. So, I said ok I'll wait. Well, 45 minutes later she was finally ready for me. Again, I asked if she was sure she could do the ombré color I wanted and she said yes....An hour later she was done with the fill and asked what I wanted!! I AGAIN showed her the pic of what I wanted done and she says "we don't have that color. I can't do that". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? She knew she couldn't do what I asked for but did the fill-in anyway. She also knew the wait was longer than 10 minutes but told me 10 to get me to stay. She straight up lied to me TWICE to get me to stay so she can take my money. I left with bare nails and I'm never going back. I'm got them polished/painted a few days later and there were multiple air pockets where she didn't properly fill them. So, I had to have them corrected. What a shady low-grade place. Shame on you... read more

This was my first time there I always go to Legacy nails in oldsmar. Julie was very sweet but I got in at 630pm where I asked a gentle man about the prices he told me and I asked him if they had time and what time did they close since closing was not on the door. They are still remodeling so that's completely cool. He told me they could do it that it was fine even though they closed at 7pm. They don't have many colors in Gel and Julie offered me the powder they have there. Price for gel mani is $25 powder is $35 . I went ahead with the powder because I liked those colors more. With the manicure my favorite part is when my cuticles get cleaned around the rim I think that makes the nail look fresh. She only did it around some fingers and didn't clean under the nails or anything. I thought after she did the powder she would do it and that didn't happen. I get in my car and that's when I see all this purple and white crust under my nail and on my fingers that wasn't cleaned. Usually when I get my nails don't i leave with everything all set. There was no massage she just put lotion on my hands and that's it. I went in to relax and should have been told they couldn't take me if they were going to rush. I didn't relax at allllllll, I won't be back I rather take my 30 minute drive than spend money somewhere I'm not getting something I like. I do not feel pretty with these $40 nails on at all and tomorrow I have an event to be at. Julie was pleasant but I did not like it, to each it's own. I've attached pictures read more
