It was rush hour, so from call to hookup, it took right at an hour to pick up the car, which is quite reasonable based on the breakdown location. It took me 15 minutes just to get there from down the street. David was our driver and he had a nice personality. Very friendly, professional and social. He also took care when hooking up the car, while I was busy blabbering. We didn't need a ride, but he double checked to make sure. If my wife had been alone, I'm sure she would have felt safe. After David left to take the car to our local shop, Tom conveniently took care of payment over text/digital services, and offered several payment methods. Last Friday morning I came back from running a morning errand and noticed that my daughters car (parked in our gated community and under a carport) had its tires and rims stolen and the car was on cinderblocks!!! Awful! After calling 911, notifying our community manager, taking pictures, calling out of work, contacting insurance (this incident was NOT covered), and getting my mind right, I started calling local towing companies. This proved to be quite the chore. Many tow companies don't tow cars with no rims and tires. I mean, I get it but, what's a person to do?! I then found one that was going to charge me A LOT ... including a deposit and $5 per mile to the cars destination. Yikes! I called Best Houston Towing, they answered quickly, the gentleman was super nice, quick with info, gave me a great quote for the tow, and let me know just what time the driver would be at our place with rims and tires to put on the car and to get to the tire/rim shop! It literally ALL happened just like that and was SUPER seamless!!!! The driver was on time, wore a mask for his and our safety, was as nice and friendly as could be, and worked efficiently and effectively to get the car safely loaded onto the truck and then got it safely to the tire/rim store!
