There is also a good selection of drinks as well. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it makes the experience even that much better. The donuts are absolutely delicious, I had the matcha donut as well as the captain crunch, and bday cake donut. This is going to be my go-to donut spot now. I also got the opportunity to try the mango matcha refresher and OMG, it was so good and refreshing, especially during a hot texas summer. I look forward to coming back here and trying more things on their menu. I came as a part of yelp's hot matcha summer series, and I am beyond grateful to have been invited out here!

My wife and I also purchased the Captain Crunch donut to try. Since we visited about an hour before closing, it seemed like the staff was starting to wind down for the day. The matcha drink was definitely the highlight of the visit and had great flavor. Unfortunately, both donuts were cold and seemed a bit stale, which was disappointing. Overall, it was an average experience for me. I'd recommend visiting earlier in the day for the freshest donuts, and the matcha drink was worth trying.

My mom and…read moreI stopped by to get a few carne guisada tacos, and this is normally a place we've always enjoyed. I've been coming here since I was a kid and have always had good experiences, which makes what happened today even more disappointing. We both took a bite of our tacos and immediately noticed that they tasted burned. We couldn't eat them, so I called the restaurant to make a complaint. I was told to bring the tacos back, so I did. When I brought them back, the "manager" asked me, "Where's the rest of the taco?" I explained that I had taken a bite, realized it tasted burned, and spit it out. She then told me she couldn't replace the tacos unless I had the entire taco. I understand needing proof of an issue, but expecting a customer to bring back an entire taco after they've already taken a bite and spit it out because it tasted burned is unreasonable. What bothered me most was the way the situation was handled. There was no real attempt to make things right or acknowledge that we had paid for food we couldn't eat. It's especially disappointing because this was a place I grew up going to and genuinely loved. After the way I was treated today, I will never be coming back. Good food can be ruined by poor customer service, and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened today.

On my visits I tried the Tres Leches Matcha, cold foam banana nut latte, Oreo concha, jalapeno sausage croissant, Grilled Chicken Bowl (with half salad mix + half white rice/veggies). Out of the two drinks I ordered, I preferred the banana nut latte more. The cold foam was soooo good and the latte contained just the right pickmeup. The Tres Leches matcha was good, but a little sweeter than I'd like it to be. The concha was tasty - not to sweet! The jalapeno sausage croissant was good - definitely more filling than I thought it would be. The salad was absolutely delicious and worth the price. My bowl was packed with goodness and wasn't soggy by the time I ate it for lunch! They didn't skimp on anything and it came with a side of tasty bread. This salad is a must here! When I brought my donuts home, we had fun doing a donut tasting. The cake donut was not too sweet and had a soft interior. We liked the glazed and powdered sugar donuts the most. The powdered sugar donut reminded me of an upgraded version of the small powdered sugar donuts I ate as a kid. I will definitely return to try other varieties. Each donut is $2.75 which is reasonable for a delicious treat.
