This review is a long time coming and I hope Steve the owner of this business is pleased with the write up. Instant Blinds is a family-owned business which should have been the first call that I made when me and my husband moved into our new house in May of this year. I had called 3-Days Blinds and Blinds-to-Go for consultations and I could not believe the prices they were quoting for our entire house. I finally did not make a 3rd call to someone else and I called Instant Blinds for a consultation. Steve came out to our house and he reassured me that all these other companies could not compare to what he had to offer. When I tell you that we saved almost 45% of what we were quoted, we knew Steve was the man for the job. Our house was COMPLETELY HIDEOUS with IKEA oversized curtains and IKEA paper and material shades in all our windows. Steve finished our project in Mid-September and our house has been completely updated and looks brand new with all the window treatments in each room. Steve has a variety of options and he knows his stuff as I felt comfortable enough to ask his opinions and he was completely honest in giving them. It is a lovely feeling that we can now actually open our windows and enjoy the blinds and shades from Instant Blinds. We could not be happier with the job that Steve did, and we would vouch for him for anyone that would ask for his professional feedback. As I told Steve when he was leaving our house.... I will say up front that I did not price shop the purchase made with Instant Blinds. I did a number of window treatments with Lowes but for these double glass sliding doors, I wanted some guidance and felt better dealing with someone who knew all the ins and outs of various options. However, that said, the cost was exactly what I expected it to be. Steve provided precisely the guidance I needed and I'm very happy with the end result. Even though I reviewed the options in the shop, Steve brought all the books with him when he measured the doors so I had the benefit of seeing the samples with the existing decor. I ended up with a sliding "drape" of woven wood/reed which I can move from one side of the door to the other (stacks at either side). It fits in beautifully with the room. It was ordered and installed by Steve within two weeks of the day I walked into the shop! I only wish I had used them from the beginning. read more

We recently replaced the blinds on our interior French doors with a honeycomb shade. We first stopped by the store to get an idea of what was available. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and explained the different options. Steve the owner came out to install the shade in a timely manner. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I like the fact that they make many of their products in-house. It is obvious they take pride in their product. I can see why this company has been around for many years. Instant Blinds is completely amazing! They provided every window treatment in our home!!! From beginning to end, Steve took great care in making sure we got great service. From the extremely detailed and professional estimate, to the hanging of our wood blind, to the installation of a large shutter, I can't say enough. I never write reviews but this is an exception. Instant Blinds is by far the best experience I have had. From the first phone call to inquire about pricing, it has been a pleasurable experience. They helped pick out the blinds, accommodated my schedule for measurement and install. Steve is the most prompt professional person I have ever met. He arrived at my home on time to our scheduled appointment. Waited patiently for me to come home and meet him. Beyond pleased with the install and clean up. Best experience I've had with someone doing work in my house! From the first meeting to the final installation, it was a pleasure working with Steve. He really knew the products available that would fit the needs of my 100 year old windows and offered his expert advice but let me make the final decision. The owner who came and measured (and later installed) our blinds was very knowledgeable. He actually guided us toward a lower priced product for us than we had been considering, due to having young kids in the house who could potentially ruin them in the years to come; he recommended a product that would hold up to kids! Installation was free and took less than 20 minutes, and the end product was beautiful and absolutely perfect (as they were the ones who had custom-measured it!). We just recently had Instant Blinds put indoor shutters in our family room/kitchen area. We have three very large windows and a slider in this area of the house and had the original blinds over the windows with vertical blinds on the slider. From the moment my husband and I entered the store, we knew we were in a true customer service establishment. The woman who helped us was extremely knowledgable regarding blinds, shutters and other possible options. Hands down this is the best place to get blinds! We refer everyone we know! Steve is the best! We have his blinds in every room and we have 3 different types also light filtering, black out and regular ones. They look great, the quality is top notch and the customer service is second to non.
