I purchased a car in October 2022 from the liberty location which has since closed. Do not buy a vehicle from here! I was a very young, stupid and broke 18 year old who desperately needed a car. I purchased a 2012 mazda 3 with 107k miles on it, after all is said and done I will have paid 27000 dollars for this car. I pay 267 every 2 weeks for a 14 year old car. I should have read more into it prior but they promised to help me and they took advantage of me, manipulated me and pressured me. Just one week after purchasing the car the transmission started slipping and my check engine light popped on. When I test drove it, it drove perfectly. when I called the service center in lees summit they pressured me into driving the car 40 minutes away which I didn't want to do because I knew if it drove it like that and damaged it further the warranty would no longer cover it, thank god I read the documents. They towed my car away and told me it would be done within a few days, I waited almost 3 weeks for my car and had sunk hundreds into the payments and hardly got to drive it and no they don't offer loaner vehicles of course. On my way home from the dealership my check engine light popped back on with 6 different codes, I'm 99% sure they just cleared the codes and sent me on my way. This car has been a nightmare for me, the first few months I had so many issues with it. The heat shields were botched as hell to the point where they had to be taken off, it had an exhaust leak, something was wrong with the EVAP system and the abs system and one of my wheel rims was cracked which resulted in a flat tire and when we went to put the spare tire on the tire exploded when we jacked the car down! Also my front axle broke leading to a transmission fluid leak which cost me hundreds to repair, then my trunk latch broke and the key battery died which was cheap but still... cherry on top. I got screwed so incredibly bad, 2.5 years into the loan and I still owe over 10000 on this car that the mechanic says is worth maybe 1800 at most, sure I'm partially to blame here because I went in there blindly and trusted them but they sold me a busted car. Now that it has thousands in repairs sunk into it, it runs fine but I shouldn't have had to sink so much into that car within the first 3 months... not worth it. Take your money elsewhere! So my car was recently stolen and they keep saying that we have to still make payments, i feel like we shouldn't have to because of the fact that the car is stolen and also dont know when its ever going to be recovered. The people have already taken the gps out so they cant do nothing to find it and they dont give rental cars out. I bought and paid off my car with Instant Auto in Kansas City Mo in August 2022. On December 6, 2022 I go to work only to come out and see my car is gone. I reported it stolen only to find out that Instant Auto repossessed my car. I do not understand how a company sends me a lean release and I have the car title fully in my name after paying the car in full they can just show up and take my car 5 months after it's paid off. I contacted the company to see what was going on and the refused to talk to me and hung up on me multiple times. When I provided a copy of my title they accused me of having a fake title. Absolute worst finance company!!!! They disable your car before its supposed to be disabled. When you call they all act slow and retarded saying they can see a code was sent to enable the car but it was never disabled. Which makes know since that a enable code would be sent to a car that was never disabled. They said it's mechanical issues with my car and not them. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER DO ANY SORT OF BUSINESS WITH INSTANT AUTO IN LEES SUMMIT!!! YOU'RE NOT A CUSTOMER, YOU'RE JUST A DOLLAR SIGN!!! My wife got a GMC Terrain from them in Spring 2019. Spring 2020 they had to replace the engine. (Engine had a warranty) Winter 2020 the new engine stopped working, and they wanted her to pay out of pocket to fix it or pay for a new engine. ( Even though the engine had a warranty on it) She had to make multiple phone calls and even had to say she was getting a lawyer for Instant Auto to honor the warranty. Instead of fixing or buying a new engine they decided to give her a new car. February 2021 she gets a new used car. That summer (start of June) she takes it in to get a check up nd they say it's good. (End of June) A/C Compressor goes out. Winter 2021 she has problems with the car (bolt on tire hub breaks in two nd the wheel falls off while she's driving) and the General manager blames the problem on her. She ends up paying for it because we need two vehicles. The part they order is wrong part so it sat a month at their dealership lot. The General Manager does nothing about the mistakes off his employees ordering the wrong part. Winter 2022 she takes her car in again bc the brake pads, rotors, control arm, nd catalytic converter needs to be replaced. Quote $1700. The manager says it's fine for you to drive the car and Instant Auto will call you once the parts in. My wife asks are you sure it's ok to drive nd nothing else will go wrong with the car. The manager assures her it's ok. The parts arrive at Instant Auto, but they don't call her to tell her they're in. She had to call them. She brings the car in nd Instant Auto says the car will be done by Friday. She calls Friday morning and they haven't even touched her car yet. Tuesday comes nd she calls Instant Auto and they say your brake calipers are messed up now nd we ordered the wrong catalytic converter. So now she has to pay $3000. We talk to the general manager again to see if it's anyway he can make up for the faults that his employees done, but yet again he doesn't do anything. And on top of that when her nd I had a face to face meeting with the general manager, he had the audacity to reply with sarcastic statements. I wish we could give negative stars! We bought a car at the end of May 2017 at Instant Auto. Not even 3 months later, my car is making a strange noise when I drive it. It was determined my upper right motor mount was loose. (luckily covered under the warranty, although I did have to pay the deductible) After calling to get it in (2 weeks later!) It was fixed. The next day, we noticed it squeaking when I backed up and when I was driving, coming from the front drivers tire. After my husband took off the tire, it was determined the brake pad was totally worn off! There is NO WAY this was not noticed at the inspection!!! Between the loose motor mount and brakes totally gone, there is no way a legitimate inspection was done! Luckily, no one was hurt while driving my vehicle!! Buying the car was easy n great but 1 year later i contacted capital one auto finance to refinance because i had to move to California for medical reasons so capital one sent a and m finance a check for 11.668.53 to pay off the car n jessica at a and m finance would not cash the check because they wanted the gps back so now iam stuck with the a n m contract.i am gonna die in 6 months so it will not get paid off n then they shut the car off .there loss lol.poor read more

I got my Jeep and the transmission and brakes went out not even a week later. They did fix it, it took a month and they kept promising me a loaner and I never got one. Finally after I kept calling about my car it was finally finished and still driving just okay. Fast forward to now when I have missed no payments and need a little help they can't help no one because my loan is one month away from where I can receive help if needed. I was already down a month because y'all wouldn't listen to me about my car and y'all couldn't accommodate me this one time? So where do I start , I've dealt with instant auto in lees summit for about two years now , the first car I had was down near paid off then BOOM the engine goes out so I took it to them and the car has now been there for about 3 weeks they want to charge 3200 dollars to fix it and it's only a 2013 so I asked for help and talked to SEVERAL people who told me that they would reach out to management but didn't so I sat there and waited thinking there was something that could be worked out such as a payment plan or half and half and the only thing they could say was that my car payment is past due and also brought up the fact that I had another car with them but was not able to maintain payments for that one (due to me having a broken ankle and being out of work BTW ) and I only had that car for 1 month before the engine went out and it literally took them about 6 months to make those repairs before that car was resold anyways they mentioned all of that but failed to mention that I've NEVER been more than a few days late on my car that I've had for two years . so bottom line they sent me on a run around and had me thinking that they were going to assist when in all reality they were never going to try to help in any type of way but they're quick to talk over you and bring up the fact that you've missed a payment, well of course I missed a payment who wants to make payments on a car with no engine that's non driveable and y'all are not willing to work out something to satisfy both parties . They Advertise on being the "no check credit" lot and being "second chance friendly" but this isn't for anyone in that situation!!!! You not only need to make 4x the payment a month but you also need to have 10x that anount in your savings account because they aren't "payment Arrangement friendly". The Sales Representative and Service Staff are all very nice, informative and helpful. I had a small issue with the service staff ordering promised equipment for my truck in the beginning but after about 3 or 4 calls I got it fixed, I also wasn't given the correct information by the Car Sales rep regarding the last time the truck had been serviced and that was corrected. I absolutely love my Truck but I absolutely hate AMG, the finance company. AMG is very heartless and inconsiderate to it's customers and it truly explains the amount of cars you they have on the repression lot. My very first issue is when I paid all of my $276.76 car note except a whooping $2.37 and they disabled my Truck while I was at the gas station. The AMG representatives stated that I had a promise to pay $276 and because I didnt pay the full $276.76 that they wouldn't be able to cut the vehicle back on. I explained to the lady that I only had cash and would need to come Into the dealership to make the $2.37 payment to turn my vehicle back on..the young lady and her manager stated that there was nothing that can be done. My second go round with AMG is pretty much the same...two weeks ago I made a $200 payment and asked for a one week extension and to pay the $76.76 and they approved it, I paid it. 2 weeks later I call to make the same Arrangement with a $0 balance and they denied it because I have to make 4 on time payments before I can have another payment Arrangements. This is completely heartless during a pandemic. I've loss my job and I know that's not the companies fought but I'm doing my best to pay what I can and you'd think a company would acknowledged the effort and consider what others may experience in these trying times. No other utility company Denies working with a customer when the balance is more than 80% paid. The last thing a company should do is kick their customers while they're down, Especially for such low amounts like $2.37 and $76.76 (keep In mind before insurance and warranty, my payments are $214). They claim that disabling vehicles is all computerized and out of their control which is why I call AMG heartless Robots. Sadly I don't recommend this company and it has nothing to do with the cars more so the absolutely horrible and heartless finance company AMG. I now know when I'm down and out and to my last $280 that AMG won't accept $138 (half my payment) for 1 week so I can make sure I keep a roof over my head and food on the table. Also if you make the payment after hours "the system"( the finance supervisor) won't automatically allow your vehicle to start the same way they automatically shut it off. They claimed there was no note on my file about the deployment. They disabled my car without attempting all ways of contacting me. I am a faithful paying customer for over a year now. I received a phone call today bright and early stating my cc payment declined( which I found odd). I usually have my car payment paid early every due date. Homecoming events this weekend for my children pushed me out till Monday which I planned to call an make payment first thing Monday. Anyways I called in an Brandy answered the phone and soon as I asked why someone tried to process a payment without authorization, it became an arguing match as I explained to her I never agreed to anything for future autopay. She continued to argue me down and say we have proof and that I did. I asked to speak with a manager, who then when I asked for her name she gave me a name of Kayla and refused to give me a last name as a professional person of contact. Anyway I started the conversation out again and it lead to another argument dispute and no resolution in the matter and then hung up on me. I kept asking her to stop interrupting me and let me explain my concerns, her response is ..."I let you talk already, are you going to be quite,"!!! How on the earth do you work in customer service and not know how to resolve conflict or be a problem solver. Anyway she ended up sending me "this proof of ACH payment form" WHAT DO YOU KNOW, It was an authorization form with 4 down DEFERRED payments only and dates that were set up on autopay when I got the care.... which gave authorization for those 4 payments only and clearly states that my bank will honor the above listed and specified amounts......Nothing about future payments. Instant Auto is using this form as a way to illegally process payments without consumers agreement and authorization. ( Saying it gives them the right, even though its used only for the sales tax and down payment when you get the car and the form clearly states it) Long story short, I called back and another lady helped me..... she was much more understanding...she listened and didn't argue with me or get aggressive. I've had my car for like 9 months now. Interest is to high and payments are a bit high. I have always paid mostly on time except my check comes on Friday it is not direct deposit so i get it and cash it Saturday morning and call my payment in on Monday usually. This week i was called in to work Saturday so when i got off at 6 in the evening after my 12 hour shift i cashed check on Monday and forgot about making the payment Monday and today is just tuesday. No reminder calls nothing, just off work and car will not start. They have disabled my car with 4 days late payment, not 5 days, not a week but 4 days. No calls from them just off. I just rented a car because tomorrow I'm due in St Louis on business at 1 and the car lot doesnt open until 9. I've had 2 other buy here pay heres in my life and NEVER did they do this and i was once a month late. It's very dirty of them to do this and it makes me not want the car because i dont want to do business with a place like this.
