This bank picked up first so I went with them... I would strongly recommend shopping around.... I had no idea what kind of problems I was getting into with this bank.... Extremely pawnshop mentality. They will do whatever they can to nickle and dime a person as best they can. They have a auto pay rule on their loan payments page that will charge twice to making your payment early. I recently just got out of surgery and was looking for a little bit of wiggle room as I have been making my payments.... and once charged twice for the same month, and requested information on possibly allowing me a little time approximately a month and a half to get things going again.... As I have already vested a good deal of money into this car in just the time I have worked with this bank.... They gave no such time.... whatsoever.... very poor customer service.... could have received the same from a payday loan.... And, went straight to we will repossess your car... Not a good bank to do business with.... Please do yourself a favor and shop around....

Managed to find the worst Commerce Bank location finally. Show up at 11:30 on a Saturday morning to…read moredeposit a check and there's a massive line of cars going out of the parking lot for the drive through. So I mask up and decide to brave the lobby. Sign on the door says lobby is open. Second sign says to call for assistance. Mildly painful at this point, but no biggie...call the number. Guy answers and says the lobby isn't open *massive sigh*. IF YOUR LOBBY ISN'T OPEN, TAKE DOWN THE SIGN. Sorry for the outburst, but I've been waiting in the drive through line for 10 minutes and it's barely moved. Also no coffee or breakfast yet isn't helping, but come on, how hard is it to make sure your signage is right so your customers don't waste their time? Come on Commerce, you can do a lot better than this.

They were amazing! I have stopped by a few times to grab some cash and today I decided to do that again when I was in the area. I met with loan manager Linda prior to filing bankruptcy. Linda told me either through incompetence or malicious intent if I re-established my auto loan, with a significant amount of negative equity, they would gladly extend me a new loan after the discharge based on a scoring system they did not use. I believe I was taken advantage of because I am an easy target, I struggle with PTSD and interacting in most situations people can navigate easily can give me incredible difficulty. I was a Finance Director in the auto industry prior to being fully disabled. I did not ask vague or open ended questions prior to executing this. Loan Manager -"As long as you don't include us, we don't care". Once my bankruptcy discharged and I reaffirmed a debt that was not needed and put me in another financial hardship, my loan was denied after I filed bankruptcy as we had discussed prior to me doing. This was escalated to the branch manager who never bothered to dispute what I was told, it happened. He just told me "there is nothing we can do". Deceptive and unethical behavior. Now I am trying to pay this loan down faster and I have just been told.... "that's how we do it..and then I am ignored by their representatives and management. They do not utilize the industry standard of a "principal only payment" allowing you to make an additional payment going to your principal payment for the month has been satisfied. I could not be more disappointed. I would not recommend this institution to FRIEND OR FOE.

Hands-down the absolute best mortgage company that I've ever worked with!…read more I was referred to Sierra Pacific this past March. Ryan Underwood and his team did a fantastic job making the mortgage happen quickly, as well as the closing. So pleased! Plans changed in life and I decided to stay in KC long-term. House shopping again! Found a great home and got contract with a super-fast closing date. Lots of hoops to jump through but again, Ryan and his team absolutely came through again! Ryan is an excellent communicator balancing both email and phone communications excellently. He keeps you updated as to the status of your progress and never calls with an issue unless he has an answer. Couldn't be happier - Ryan and Sierra Pacific have been awesome all around! If you've decided to use Sierra Pacific for your mortgage needs, you've come to the right place... you won't be disappointed!!!!

I was very disappointed! I contacted Sierra Pacific Mortgage through their website to begin my Home…read moreRefinance and it took them over a week to contact me, I had to send an email to see if someone got my first communication before I heard back. Then the mortgage lender that they teamed me up with was not responsive at all! When I would call he would say can I call you back in 15 min and I would not hear back for several days, this did not just happen 1 or 2 times, but several. We started the process in late November, we caused it to not really go anywhere until early to mid-December, because of something we were waiting on, however after that I immediately responded to everything the lender needed, while some of the documents took me a couple days, I worked as quickly as I could. Yet by January 20th we still had made almost no progress, and the last time we talked he said "when we get off the phone I will email you documents to sign." I waited a week and a half sending 2 emails in that time to him with no response from him, not even a simple "I am sorry, I got your email, I am working on it or, something has happened and I will have the documents to you as soon as I can." Just silence!!!! So, after that we switched companies and went with American Financing and in 1 day we were further in the process than in the month that we were with Sierra Pacific Mortgage! I am not saying the name of the Mortgage lender because I believe that Sierra Pacific Mortgage first started out incorrectly by not responding well, when it took over a week to contact me, and I think they should have better oversight of their lenders. Maybe, he did not feel like he was going to make very much on the small refinance of my house, which the loan is not that large. Maybe he was just to busy to keep up with everything he has going on or maybe he has a lot of personal stuff going on right now. I don't know the issue for him not doing his job well, that is why I believe Sierra Pacific Mortgage in my opinion should shoulder the majority of the responsibility.
