I've always been struggling with my weight, so this program was a great way to take a different approach and so far it's been incredibly effective! My mom- lost 30 lbs in ~5-6 months and is keeping it off for 3 months. My sister - lost 30+ lbs and still losing in ~8 months Myself - lost 20 lbs in ~8 months (on and off) The list goes on and on, but overall it's a great success. The diet practiced is essentially a ketogenic diet (which makes the body burn fat for energy instead of carbs), with less focus on fat and more on protein intake. It's challenging, considering that you can't eat any carbs (bread, FRUIT, ALCOHOL!!, etc) outside the provided snacks, you get used to it within a week. And, honestly, it simplifies meal prep like you wouldn't believe. You get 3 ideal protein meals a day, unlimited (select) veggies, and one real meal. You actually eat a lot! But it's all things that are healthy and promote weight loss. And don't worry, the snacks provided have something to satiate every craving you might have for sweets or salty goodies. You won't be miserable. Come and speak to Christine to get started. She is a great coach, who will text you to make sure you're staying on track, will celebrate all of your accomplishments with you, and will meet with you every week to bookmark your weight loss milestones. After having my second baby in December 2016 and being diagnosed with thyroid disease, I was at my heaviest weight when I found Christine. I was at a low point and had given up on losing weight. On May 1,2018, my Ideal Protein journey began and my starting weight was 217lbs (I'm 5'2, to give you a little perspective), four months later and I am down 35lbs. I am not done losing weight but I can tell you how much better I feel and how good it feels to fit back into my old clothes! I was skeptical when I began the program because I have never succeeded in weight loss before and have always been on the bigger end of the spectrum but I did lose weight and I'm determined not to stop until I reach my goal weight. Christine, is an amazing part of the program, she is more than willing to help her clients achieve their weight loss goals and makes herself readily available, be it through a phone call, text or in person meeting. She is there to help guide you through the process and to help keep you on track! Her office is located in Bay Ridge and is a nice, intimate and private space. It is here where you will weigh in and pick up your food for the next week. If you are unfamiliar with Ideal Protein, you essentially eat 3 Ideal Protein meals and one meal of your own consisting of a lean protein and veggies. I am the most pickiest eater you will find so trust me when I tell you that there is such a wide variety of Ideal Protein meals to eat, there is something to match everyone's palette!
