First, she didn't know the price of the item I wanted to purchase, she said she only works there and that the owner wasn't available at the time, because SHE was at a funeral. Then she gave me a price, but she didn't allow me to inspect the item closely, she said it can't be taken down from the window before Christmas. I went there again after Christmas and she said it can only be discounted 20%, but again, she would not let me inspect it. At that time, she said, she is a manager of the store and that owners are three man, the lady who was at a funeral was also a manager, not an owner of the store. Today, the item I wanted to purchase was still displayed on the window, and she lied that it was already sold, refusing to sell it to me. She was very rude and told me to get out of HER STORE, stating that she is the owner. This person by the name of Christine should not be manager of anything! She can take her whole store to her own home, because we - the residents of Bay Ridge don't need her NASTY ATTITUDE and lies! I will file a lawsuit against the store, and if she is the real owner, she will have to answer in Court, if not, I urge the owners to fire her, or they will be responsible for her nasty and discriminatory attitude!

I recently purchased over $100 worth of items and did get free regular shipping. The items were at my door in 4 days. My postal person did leave the box upside down even though the package had a "this side up" sticker on it - so maybe put that sticker on the bottom of the package so people will see it??? LOL There was packing material in the shipping box, but just brown paper. The candles did not break but maybe bubble wrap would be better protection? My order was correct and I love that the business is still small enough to have someone using a pen & check box system to indicate which candle scent is in each box. The matches work great - they light on the first strike. I lit the fern candle right away and my house smelled cozy like a forest. Thank you!
