Everything was exceptional!! I've had plenty of rodeos with western medicine, and while I understand the advantages of it, I was feeling underwhelmed by the treatment I've received from some practitioners of late. I'm extremely health conscious and in tune with when my body is out of whack. I went to NNM seeking relief from myriad problems, and six visits later, I feel like a new person. Dr. Giacona delves into the root of your issues and listens like no other doctor I've seen maybe ever, and I saw results after my very first visit. He took a wholistic approach to solving my problems, provided plenty of literature outlining his principles and explaining the treatment plan, and was clear about the role I would need to play in solving my health issues. Also, I've gotten acupuncture before but this is on an entirely new level--I now know that not all acupuncture is created equal! I'm so happy I found NNM, and have referred my friends and loved ones, and wanted to leave this review to encourage anyone looking for an alternative or supplement for their current medical treatment to try this place out!!

I had little to no expectations but knew I was afraid of needles so I did my best to communicate that in between my breaths. Naika was very good about soothing my nerves as she explained what she would be doing and offered that if at any point I was nervous or uncomfortable to let her know and we could stop. Though this could be taken for granted as standard practice, she has a way of being so present with her assessments and observations, that you can tell it goes beyond the acupuncture. Our session was a quick one, yet the healing went beyond. I felt relaxed and held in ways that I hadn't in a very long time. I've gone to Naika for quite some time now and I am so constantly humbled at knowing and being graced by such a gentle and thoughtful healer. When in her care you can tell that she is so genuine and passionate about her work, that you are inherently safe. You know she is taking the time to hear all of your concerns, and you know that you will be treated promptly. Even the way she actively listens during initial check-ins with her infamous and nonintrusive, "Mms!" If you're considering acupuncture at all, definitely prioritize your healing and book a session with Dr. Naika!!

I've noticed the effectiveness of the treatments increase with each visit. Her office is a sanctuary beautifully appointed with rich and indulgent textures and decadent smells. I feel like I am transported to a tranquil oasis every visit. It has really become the highlight of my week. She makes a mean cup of yea and will explain the properties of the blend if you decide to indulge in a cup. She makes each treatment feel like a getaway and an I leave refreshed and renewed each time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone but especially other women of color who need a practitioner that they know SEES them, she is a true GEM!

I highly doubt all of Eric's clients are paying $7500 for his holistic services and giving him…read morethese high ratings because that is what he told me 3 months of his services would cost. Coming from a person who does not hold a medical degree, I find this rate unwholesome and corrupt. I have known Eric for a very long time and have thought him to be a very intelligent and considerate practitioner, so much so, that I wanted to include him in the business I was starting. I saw Eric as I was struggling with my digestion. He proceeded to tell me 3 months of working with him would cost $7500. I was desperate and he knew it. He charged me $2500 for the first month which consisted of suggesting I take a Vitamin C supplement, returning for one meeting each week and a simple diet plan that did not change for the duration of the month. I started asking him what the rest of the program would entail, he was elusive. I asked if I were going to receive, at the very least, a liver cleanse or an ABC spinal alignment (for those prices) - his reply "maybe toward the end you will get an ABC adjustment". He proceeded to have me order a Self Journal by Best Self Co, a planner that "helps people optimize your day and tackle your goals" (as it states on the box) and had nothing to do with my health whatsoever. I started to feel uneasy and inquired more about what was about to happen as we moved into the second month. Again, more elusive and manipulative answers such as "is your health worth $7500?" or "what is your health worth? Eric is part of the City Wellness Collective https://www.citywellnesscollective.com/fr/directory/profile/300059776/eric-levinson?page=10&top=10&page= stating his new client consultation is $40 which includes 2 ABC adjustments just to put his rate into perspective for you. During my very last visit, his wife walked right into the office unannounced, didn't even look at me or acknowledge/apologize for the fact that she was interrupting my paid and very private session. Eric was complicit in all of it allowing it to happen and not taking responsibility for what was going on. He continued our session as if nothing happened which is alarming, to say the least. This is a negligent act on his part with regard to client confidentiality that is held sacred in all health care practices and is illegal in the United States if breached. She has no right to waltz right into an office and he absolutely must ensure his clients feel safe and protected. I have no doubt he has the ability to help people. What I do doubt is how he sets his fees as I think they are varied. I have thought long and hard about writing this review. I am not one to do so easily as I understand how damaging they can be and I understand we all make mistakes. However, I feel it important to bring this to light given Eric's email reply after I requested to be refunded half of the $2500. I was met with outright gaslighting and spiritual by-passing with a level of narcissism that I was not expecting (take a look at his replies toward the other negative reviews, they are self-righteous, dismissive and unapologetic). Needless to say, he absolutely refused to give me half my money back for one month of 4 visits where we mainly talked because I maintained the Vitamin C and diet protocol he assigned me on the first day. Not even the highest-priced MD/Functional Medicine doctor in NYC is $625 per hour so I felt my request was perfectly reasonable. He didn't want to hear it, he didn't apologize or try to work it out with me. He adamantly maintained is "rightness" and turned the entire situation around on me. This level of unprofessionalism from both he and his wife warrants this review as well as a report to the Better Business Bureau, New York Department of Health and NYS Department Of Professions.

I'm able to see my body recuperate on its own, whereas I would have had to rush to a chiropractor in the past. I've been seeing Levinson for a year and my body has been making really excited changes; I can see that my posture has changed, the hyper extension that I've always had in my legs has decreased, my headaches have dissipated, I don't have to be so delicate with my movements as I feel less fragile. I'm overall really remarkably better day to day. I have recommended Levinson to a number of friends and will continue to emphasize the ABC method to anyone interested in getting their body back to where it should be. And, he's a great guy.

Catherine's space is so lovely and she seems to have many children clients. Just want to vouch for Catherine. . I decided to go to her based on my friend's recommendation and a yelp deal. Today I went to her for a shoulder/neck issue. Yesterday, I was told that I'm a candidate for surgery at Mt Sinai because I have a few herniated discs (c5-c7). I have been going to chiropractors, reiki masters, massage, acupuncture, steroids, PT, muscle relaxers. I was prepared to go "under the knife." Out of desperation I went to Catherine today. Her warm and healing office is near my work. She's a miracle worker. A healer. I feel so centered and the pain is gone. She is an earth mother and is so divine. I am in awe of her power.
