This provider didn't align with what I had said I was looking for and I asked for a number to call and their hours. They said they prefer to text to keep a paper trail of conversations and continued to ask me questions. I replied that I wasn't comfortable texting about my therapeutic goals due to privacy and security concerns. They never responded. I think it's extremely unethical to not only force potential clients into an non-secure method of communication after they have expressed discomfort with it, but to then fully ghost people seeking mental health services.
