There were so many issues with my old kitchen, the…read morecabinets were ugly, the space just wasn't used well at all and I had a couple of ideas about things I always wanted to have in my "dream kitchen" (ie - a corner cabinet with a glass door and a lazy susan inside, that's right, straight from the 80s). Junior came out and met with us and somehow managed to translate my insane ramblings about shadowboxes and faux islands into exactly what I was wanting. He was able to make some recommendations for things I would have never even thought of (moving our stove down a few inches for extra drawers and building our fridge into the cabinets so we have more over fridge storage) and had our drawings to us immediately. He was up front about the pricing and we were able to pick and choose from options that met our needs but kept us within budget. The only real snag we hit was when my husband decided to go out on his own for places to buy granite from, but once we shopped from the list that Junior had given us things went a lot smoother. I was impressed with how organized everything was throughout the entire planning process. Junior gave us a timeline on when our work could begin and things went according to plan. The crew was friendly and worked really hard, they kept things as neat as you can expect from a kitchen remodel. Given everything I hear from other folks that have done kitchen remodels, I was braced for a lot of pain and delays, so I am pleased to report that things actually went faster than expected once I understood that the granite takes about a week to have cut after the cabinets are installed. I am so happy with my new kitchen, it is literally my dream come true. I cannot rave enough about Junior and the team from I4. =)

He asked me to send pictures and measurements and that he would be out the next day. 30 mins before he was suppose to be there, he called with a price over $9000 the highest estimate that I received. We talked about differences, and I mentioned that we had terrazzo so we did not want tile. He did not know what terrazzo was. I told him thank you, I was not interested in the estimate and hung up. I am sorry but if a estimator/designer in FL does not know what terrazzo is, I have issues since this is the most common flooring that was used in the older homes.

We bought a house in 2017 and knew we were going to have to eventually remodel the master bathroom…read more We got a few bids from the usual suspects. Then I heard an American Kitchens radio ad, and figured I'd call them for a bid too. Chip came out and met with us and took some measurements. We were then connected with Stacy the designer and headed to the showroom where we selected the tile, fixtures, sinks and cabinets. It was a smooth process - everyone was friendly and professional. We got our quote and decided to move forward. Scott was our project manager and his communication was great. We knew what was next in the process and when it would happen. The work they did was solid and we love that its American-made products, all quality and no worries. We also got to meet the owners and they were genuinely good people. AK definitely wasn't the cheapest bid we got, but we'd rather pay upfront for quality than pay even more money to have something cheap redone in a few years. The bathroom looks great and they're definitely a company I recommend if you want quality work done right.

We would definitely recommend this company for kitchen remodeling.

I had known from the first contact with S&W that this would be the company that would be doing my Reno. Chelsea was my designer and what a fabulous job she did designing the perfect master bath. Robert was my project manager and was wonderful as well keeping me updated on what would be happening at each stage of the Reno. Anyone who entered my house was very professional, did the job they were assigned to complete. Job was completed in the time frame they had given me. I was also able to use plumbing fixtures from another source with no problems as well as the closet system. I highly recommend S&W as I will be using them for my next job coming up soon. On June 13, 2025, we signed a contract with them. Work began July 21, 2025. They finished on May 26, 2026. The contract stated that it would take 4 months, possibly 5, to complete the project. It took them 10 months to complete. There was a total of at least 15 weeks (a week being 5 consecutive working days, i.e., Wednesday through Tuesday) where NOTHING was done at the house. Prior to beginning demolition, they required a total of 60% of the contract to be paid. At the end of demolition and rough-in, which took 4 weeks, they required a total of 84% to be paid. Then they wanted payment for the project to be substantially complete and usable prior to the installation of the glass shower walls or the master being usable. That would have been 95% of the contract. The supervising contractor stated that he would not have the shower glass installed until they were paid. I sent his boss a copy of the Florida legal requirements for being substantially complete and usable, and I also hired an attorney. When it came time for the final walkthrough and final payment, they didn't want to provide us with the Affidavit of Contractor's Final Payment, which shows if there are any subcontractors who have released their lien and those that haven't been paid and how much they are owed prior to receiving the final payment, even though we had the right to have it according to our attorney. Then, when we received the document, it was a "waiver and release of lien upon progress payment."
