If I could give this place zero stars I would. My child went there for about eight months during which time she was an infant. We had several situations in which I feel her safety was seriously compromised. In one instance, I walked into her room to pick her up after work and she had a piece of a broken toy in her mouth. There was one staff member in there at the time who had her back to the infants and was texting. The number of children in the room also exceeded the state allowed ratio. The director acknowledged that it happened and fired the staff member. But we began looking for other childcare immediately and in the interim I started leaving work to check on her during the day until we could find another arrangement. A few days after, they forgot to give her milk. She was an infant, didn't drink anything all day, and it was 90 degrees in July. Again, the director did not deny it. We pulled her out of there at that point. There were other parents with similar issues that pulled their children out as well around the same time. A few other things to mention... At the time the main teacher in the infant room is the mother of the director, so any concerns fall on deaf ears. I agree with the other reviews that say the director sits at the front desk texting all day. Despite what they say on the tour, I did observe quite a bit of staff turnover. Of the staff that are there, there were different people in her room almost every day. Very little consistency. The infant room was packed and unlike most other daycares, they keep them in that room until they are 18 months. I remember them telling me that my daughter couldn't have tummy time or crawl on the floor because the older children were walking around and she would get stepped on. They had her in one of those jumpers long after she was walking presumably for that reason. Finally, I pulled her out in July and they had yet to go outside. They kept telling me that the ground in the infant playground was saturated.
There are so many other good daycares in the area. Don't settle on this place. read more
