Inspirations Ceramic at 400 Ninth Street is a locally and family owned pottery painting studio in Wenatchee. Our original studio opened in 2013 and welcomes kids, adults, families, friends, date nights and groups to enjoy time together. No experience is needed, and artists of all ages are welcome. Walk in during regular studio hours or reserve a table ahead of time for free.
Choose from a wide selection of pottery pieces, select your glaze colors and create at your own pace. We provide project samples, technique tools and friendly guidance, whether you arrive with a plan or need a little inspiration. When you finish painting, leave your pottery with our team to be glazed and kiln fired. We will let you know when it is ready for pickup.
Ninth Street also offers pottery painting parties, classes, seasonal events and take home pottery kits. If you do not finish in one visit, we will safely wrap your project so you can return and complete it at no additional fee. Pricing varies by the pottery you choose, making it easy to find a project that fits your interests and budget.
The Palette Bar serves espresso, ice cream and a variety of other sips. Enjoy something while you paint, stop in to get some work done or grab a drink to go. Pottery painting is a relaxed way to make a personalized gift or meaningful keepsake. Owned by Jennifer and Duncan, who both grew up in the Valley, Inspirations is a place to slow down, connect, create memories and make something completely your own.
History
Established in 2013.
Inspirations Ceramic opened at 400 Ninth Street in 2013 as a pottery painting studio where people could slow down, create and spend meaningful time together. Jennifer began working at the studio that same year and quickly saw how a simple creative outing could become a lasting memory or treasured keepsake. After helping manage the studio for 5 years, she became the owner in December 2018 at age 23.
Since then, Inspirations has remained rooted in pottery painting while growing to include parties, classes, seasonal events, take home kits and The Palette Bar. Duncan later joined Jennifer as co-owner, making Inspirations a locally and family owned business. Ninth Street continues to be the original home of Inspirations and the place where its purpose began: helping people connect, create something personal and create memories together.
Meet the Business Owner: Jennifer + Duncan M.
Inspirations is owned by Jennifer and Duncan, who both grew up in the Wenatchee Valley and are now raising their family here. Jennifer began working at the Ninth Street studio in 2013 and became the owner in December 2018 at age 23. What started as a job became something she deeply believed in as she watched children create gifts, families spend quality time together, couples connect and handmade pieces become part of people’s traditions.
As Inspirations grew, Duncan became more involved and joined Jennifer as co-owner. Together, they are building a business centered on family, creativity and community. They want every guest to feel welcome, whether they arrive with a detailed idea or no idea where to begin. For Jennifer and Duncan, the finished artwork matters, but the connection and memories made while creating are what makes Inspirations truly meaningful.
