I got a response from Mark on 05/11/24, and we talked on the phone for over 5 minutes to discuss the location of the house, the best time to do the inspection, and the prices. He was patient as I asked many questions, and I never felt rushed. We decided to the home inspection on 05/13/24. On 05/12/24, it rained very hard, and I was concerned about the new house since it is located next to a drainage system. Fortunately, Mark was doing another home inspection in the area and dropped by to take some pictures for me, mind you, I did not even ask him to do so. He just thought it was a good idea to do so since he was in the area. He sent pictures and confirmed that the basement was not affected. I appreciate this so much as it gives me a peace of mind. On 05/13/24 Mark, my realtor, and I went to the house for the home inspection. Mark is very thorough and meticulous with everything. He took his time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. He even spent around 5 minutes on the roof to ensure there is no problem with it. He also did the radon test for me. I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by Mark. I highly recommend him.

My inspector Sam was extremely thorough not only in his inspection process, but also talking me through his notes making sure I understood at a novice level. He was also super patient with me. I came prepared with a list of about 20 additional inspection questions (including where the shut off valves were located and how to turn them off) and he made sure to answer them all in detail. It seems like the inspector is more for the seller rather then the buyer who is hiring them for contingencies. I have done construction management and commissioning before so I dont know how in my case where a window latch on an exterior window thats UPSTAIRS is considered a low priority where there is a fall risk, wind/gust that goes through since it cannot fully latch and would need a potential replacement - which in hand did not help our case with settling on the deal to get this resolved. Literally handed us a paper and not even a follow up call to discuss the contingencies on the home. All I got told was that they only look visually and even when I looked you could see it is a bigger issue than what it was marked as. Waste of $475 that I could've done myself, oh and when I email the owner Hulbert, same half response of excusing the poor inspection that was done. I do not recommend this inspector company whatsoever. I forgot to mention - his wife when I told her the situation told me "This happens when you get a home" like what kind of response is that, don't know but this family business is beyond disappointing and a let down to put it nicely. This establishment lacks the actual foundation of what and who they're doing this for. Also the inspection was 30 minutes for a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom house.... I've seen people thoroughly inspect homes smaller and take longer.
