This is the third time I've used Joe at Inspect More LLC. I keep going back because Joe is thorough, very detailed, and takes time to explain everything! Joe, the home inspector is very knowledgeable, calm and polite and I am glad that I worked with Joe to get my home inspection for new construction done. The builder didn't install the correct door from the garage to home and Joe made him change that. He knows all the building codes in this area. He even pointed an issue with electricals which the builder initially denied but eventually it was an issue and the builder fixed it. He takes photos of everything and you can walk with him during inspection and get some knowledge about your home too. I'll only consider Joe if I plan to buy any real estate in Atlanta Suwannee area. Previous home inspection with others seemed to prefer to do the inspection without interruptions and then go over their findings. I definitely would not recommend this inspector especially if you are a real estate agent. He is a deal killer! Not only was he careless and destructive inside my home he also lied or grossly exaggerated several things on my report. He stated that several light fixtures were not in working order when all he needed to do was pull the light cord on the ceiling fan/light. He removed the covers of the panel boxes from the wall damaging the paint and sheetrock around it. He reported several electrical violations as fire or shock hazards that an experienced, licensed electrician has since deemed safe and up to code. read more

Joe recently inspected a home for me. I am familiar with buying and selling homes and I know the inspection process can be the deal breaker in a sale so I am happy that Joe was thorough. While the homeowner might have been annoyed, as a buyer I want to know even the smallest of issues so there are no surprises once the sale is closed. I feel confident that if the majority of the 40+ items he pointed out are things like: cracks in driveway or burned out lightbulb over stove, then the major items such as the roof, the HVAC or the foundation have been looked at and are in good condition. His report was organized and included great pictures to illustrate his findings and I had the report via email the next day. They are ASHI certified and over $100 less expensive than the inspectors my realtor referred. I would highly recommend Joe. read more

My previous post was removed because Joe doesn't like negative feedback. Joe doesn't know proper codes for HVAC or Plumbing. He came to my home and performed a home inspection based on inaccurate information. He cites his ASHI regulations as if they are actual regulations that could be enforced by law. Don't always believe your home inspections report as most of these inspectors are not qualified in the areas they report on. I've spent close to $600 on service calls because he pointed out "issues" that were actually none issues. He obviously didn't like my review and the fact that I actually know certain building codes and had my previous post removed. Do not use this company. read more

We did not know a home inspector, so our realtor recommended Inspect More. I spoke with Joe Moore and he seemed nice and professional, so we hired him. I was unable to get off of work to meet him and he stated that would be fine, he would forward me the report. I received the report within 48 hours and it appeared to be thorough. Based on the report, we asked the sellers to repair the items that we felt were safety, mechanical or structural issues and they complied. We closed on the house and when we took the 1st shower we flooded the kitchen (picture Niagra Falls). The shower stem valves in both showers were cracked almost all the way around and when you turned the water on, the water hit the wall and went straight down into the kitchen causing over $10,000 in damage. We have a cracked toilet, the vent for the hot water heater is not sealed and when it rains, it rains into the house. Now I understand it was not raining the day of the inspection, but the brown ceiling and corroded pipes should have given him some indication there was an issue. The HVAC makes a horrendous noise when you turn on the AC - there is something definitely wrong with it and we have a window that leaks. We have tried to make a claim with Joe and he totally ignores us. All of the above stated issues we would have asked the sellers to rectify and now we don't have a leg to stand on. We weren't asking Joe to rectify the issues, just to return our fee as he did not do a thorough job and pay for our deductible. He is not willing to do either. I would not recommend him as you may find yourself in the same predicament. read more
