I always wanted to try this place but never really had the time to stop by it. Finally my husband gave me a gift card and I enjoying a nice signature pedicure on my birthday. It was hard to find a schedule during the weekend. All the locations were full. But we were lucky to find the last opened appointment for both signature pedicure for my husband and I. It was almost one hour including massage and heal treatment. Both ladies were super nice and I had a good time. However it was over $160 for both of us. I was really surprised with the price counting that it is not a private room and the chairs are not too comfortable. I have been in other SPAs and I paid less for a much nicer place and ambience. I recommend this place overall but honestly I am not sure I will coming back here since as I said I can choose other SPAs that are way more comfortable and private for less or equal price. read more

I went in for a Pedicure on Mothers Day. The spa had limited Nail color options unless a lot of those out of shelf with other clients. There were some cookies and Macrons offered for Mothers Day, which I thought was a good touch. This spa is decent clean but not any cleaner than regular strip mall Nail places, to be fair I went in after 4 on a Sunday. I decided to splurge for my husband's Christmas gift and buy him a gift card for a massage much more expensive than he would usually pay. I went into my local Redmond in spa and got the gift certificate only to find out after paying for it that the Redmond location does not have any massage therapists at the moment. So he ended up having to drive to Bellevue. When he went for his appointment, they told him that he had canceled his appointment and they had given it to someone else. Which was not the case. So they "fit him in "with a male masseuse who had an open spot and my husband said was audibly listening to a podcast in his AirPods throughout the massage. Expensive pedicure and manicure $135 not including tip! I brought my own polish for my pedicure which turned out great. Then I figured why not get manicure also since Lana was doing a good job. So I used their products of shellac a product that is usually awful on my nails! Wanted a different brand of gel polish but she insisted this was fine and then used a regular polish "create design" which was an up charge. Mixing products should be a no no. One night and the French nail polish is falling apart at the several of tips and there are drips of shellac on the sides of the nails which I have to cut off. I had hope this would last for me for at least two weeks but after such an expensive trip to in spa that yielded a French shellac manicure that lasts one day, no thank you! Also pedicure possible corner was missed for now I have a sore toe. I'll need to fix that. I guess if I want this done right I will need to do my own manicure at home with the gelish product that uses led light to cure which is less harmful then the uv light shellac needs to cure with. read more

Absolute waste of time. Scheduled a facial at 4:30, arrived at 4:10. Got checked in. At 4:40, they call me over and say they can't give me my facial because the esthetician went home earlier in the day. So instead of telling me upon arrival, they let me wait 30 minutes and then tell me they can't give me my service. The lady kept contradicting herself, saying it was weather, then the esthetician, that they just caught it (even though I was there for a half hour). The one who checked me in didn't even apologize. None of the front desk would make eye contact, just talked into the computer. Absolutely ridiculous. Learn how to appropriately read your books and make eye contact. I wouldn't have been mad had you just told me when I got there. read more

First before I go into this review, i want to say my facial with Rebecca was EXCEPTIONAL. Not only did she educate me about my skin, but we connected and we shared many laughs during my facial. Okay so why I gave this place 1 star. Prior to me scheduling my complimentary '90 minute Signature facial', the reason why it was complimentary was because they had messed up on my previous appointment. So earlier this week I called to schedule it, during this phone call I asked how long the facial was and the girl on the phone said 'oh it's a 90 minute signature facial'. I said ok and proceeded to schedule my appointment. So at 10:50am I check in for my 11:00 appointment and then Rebecca comes to grab me to get my facial started. It was one of the best facials I've had at this place and I really enjoyed listening to her tell me about my skin and what things she suggests for it. Anyway my facial finishes at 12:05pm. I'm thinking, well that wasn't 90 minutes. Maybe she didn't know that's how long my facial was for. So when I checked out I mentioned it to the front desk girl checking me out. She told me my facial was $99. I said, 'No this facial is complimentary and I was also scheduled for 90 minutes or should have been', and she looked confused. She told me my facial was only 60 and that the girl that scheduled me was new and said 'sorry'. Like an 'oh well she told you wrong because she's new so sorry'. I'm not sure how the front desk is trained but the reason why I got my complimentary facial in the first place is because of the lack of communication and knowledge that the front desk had about their services. It's just a shame that I pretty much got the same disappointing service from the front desk as I did the first time I came to InSpa. They can't seem to ever get it right. read more

I had a facial today. When the esthetician put products on my face( treatment, mask, moisturizer) , I felt burned a little bit( the same feeling like your head skin get burned a bit while you dye your hair). At first I thought it was normal so I did not say anything. After I went home, my cheeks looked red and I still felt burned. I need to put ice on my face to feel better. I was also not comfortable when they tried to push you buy a reward membership or products there. I bought the exfoliating cleanser to try. And I tipped 20% just because the esthetician spent a long time for blackhead extraction. I ended up paid 188$ and my face has red rash now. :(( Probably would return the product if I could. I first visited InSpa a few years ago and was pretty disappointed with that experience. (I had never had a pedicure where I sat in an office chair and dipped my feet in a bucket.) I received a $100 gift card and decided to try the place one more time hoping for a better experience. The spa has upgraded the set up a bit, but it is still not up to "Spa" status. The chairs are pretty basic compared to the corner nail places and the foot bath is still a bucket style bath, just more dressed up. I arrived on time for my appointment which was set for 4:45 and I was seen at 4:50. My pedicure took 40 minutes and it was ok. It would have been nice to have warmer water, but since the bath is a bucket vs. an actual spa bath, I didn't want to cause an issue by asking for warmer water, so I sat with my feet in cold water for 30 minutes. The pumice stone tool was very dull, it felt like my feet were being rubbed by the back of a wood hairbrush, and it was just as effective. My manicure began at 5:30 and took exactly 30 minutes. The "classic manicure" is pretty much a glorified polish change, with some cuticle trimming. I paid $7 extra to have the french polish and half of my nails have very crooked paint, it looks a bit silly and does not look like it was done at a salon. I was dismissed at 6:05 and was helped immediately by one of the ladies at the front desk, but it still took 12 minutes for her to complete the check out process although I was the only person she was helping. The entire process took from 4:45 to 6:17 and the cost was $76 for a nothing special mani/pedi with french polish. The place looks clean, I am sure that all of the basic sanitation requirements are being followed. I will likely return again next year when I am given another gift card, although I am going to give my employer some feedback about the value of the gift card. If I were paying out of my own pocket, I would go to a nail place in a strip mall and save $30+ and 30 minutes receiving a quality mani/pedi. read more

What a disappointment. My mom and I really wanted to enjoy this place but again- what a disappointment. We scheduled for two "Signature Pedicures" with the "Heal Treatment" add on and our experience was underwhelming to say the least. Please see below for why: -the place is run down. The walls are unkept and needed a paint job, towels were on the floor, pedicure area was not clean, leather seats were ripped and cracked, etc. InSpa could go so far with just a remodel. -no music or anything while getting our pedicures. Instead, we had to listen to the chit chat, gossiping, and complaining coming from the other gals who we assumed were working. I don't care if people want to chit chat, but they were SO LOUD. It was either listening to them or it was silence. No spa music to help as white noise. -I asked for a focus on the massage part for my mom's pedicure and the receptionist said that she would let her pedicurist know but it was very weak and short. -the "Heal Treatment" add-on consisted of a mask that they put on our feet then they left us for about 7 mins to let the mask do it's magic. $10 for what, exactly? -the pedicure itself didn't feel like anything "signature" about it. It was sub-par. I've received much better pedicures at the local joints for half the price. My lady was SO ROUGH with my cuticles too. It was painful! -in the end, probably after 5 mins of letting our toes dry, our pedicurists kept insisting that we purchase their $3.99 flip flops otherwise we would need to stay there for "over an hour" to let our toes dry. This wasn't our first pedicures, ladies. We know how long it takes for toes to dry and it sure isn't over an hour. My mom told them that she had a foot injury and even had surgery and so wearing flip flops were a liability possibly resulting in another injury. This didn't stop them for practically shooing us away and advertising their $3.99 flip flops. We had no choice but to leave and so my mom sat near the Nordstrom to let her toes dry instead. All in all, we wanted to give InSpa a try for the hopes of a, well, spa-like experience. But in the end, it was a complete waste of nearly $200. Such a regret going there. I visited a week ago for a gel removal and manicure. This was my first time visiting an InSpa and the experience left a lot to be desired. While the environment is clean and the chairs are comfortable, I would strongly discourage anyone going here for a gel removal or manicure. The nail specialist I was paired with quickly got frustrated with my polish not coming off as fast as she wanted. She spent the time audibly signing and aggressively sanding and prodding at my nails. Once the gel was finally off she - I kid you not - bent my nails up and down using the file. It was so painful I almost felt like pulling my hands away, but decided it grit my teeth and bear it instead. The manicure looked fine enough when it was done, but because she painted over my skin near the cuticles, the polish started to peel within a few hours. A day later two of my nails cracked and split off due to all of the aggressive bending. I've never had such a painful and disappointing experience with a manicure. It's incredibly frustrating seeing my nails break considering I went in to get them done for a special occasion. I would've been better off if I avoided stopping in altogether. This might be a great place for other services, but avoid wasting your money on gel - it's going to be a painful process and it won't last. read more

My boyfriend and I came to get pedicures about a week and a half ago. I opted for the signature pedicures for both of us to get the longer massage that is stated in the description, altogether lasting 60 minutes (supposedly). We sat down in our chairs and I could tell that my nail tech did not care. She trimmed my nails and cuticles, which was fine. But it came time for the massage and my nail tech literally put a scoop of lotion on the top of each foot and wrapped them in a towel (no massage whatsoever). She then proceeded to tell me to relax and left for 15 MINUTES! All the while, my boyfriend was getting his massage in the chair across from me. My nail tech finally returned, gave me a very brief massage and then spent about 30 seconds slapping on some polish. It looked like a 10 year old painted my toe nails (I chose a very light color and she didn't even take the time to add a second coat and the polish was on the skin around my toe nails). All in all, I was in the chair for 45 minutes (not the stated 60 minutes), and my nail tech was gone for 15 minutes of it; I hardly received a massage and my nails looked absolutely terrible. My boyfriend did have a much better experience overall, but he was also only in the chair for 45 minutes. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I will not be returning and do not recommend anyone to go to this place. read more

I came in for a mani pedi with a groupon voucher for a "new mommy pampering" beginning of March. I work in the mall and always walk past the front desk of the spa and always thought it looks really nice. So I thought I'd treat myself! WRONGGGG! After the waiting room area it's extremely outdated, random reclining chairs, they use a BUCKET on wheels with hot water for your feet that they clearly use the same one on everyone because I only saw one being wheeled in and out, the lady Lana that did my nails had me pick out a polish but with the first 3 I picked out she said "no pick another, this ones goopy". What?! Then why are they on your shelves?! So I ended up settling for a color I didn't even like. She was extremely fast, her tools were RUSTY, the water left both feet bright red because it was so hot, I fixed my own nail shape when I got home, the list can go on. The whole time I wanted to up and leave, but didn't want to be rude so I figured I'd just finish up and not leave a tip. Then I go to pay and told her I had the Groupon voucher. Paid then the front desk girl says "tip on cash or card?" First of all, don't assume I'm going to tip because I planned on not. She should've asked if I would like to tip. Not what form of a tip I was going to leave. Then she says because it was a Groupon I HAD to leave 18-20% gratuity where I saw no where on Groupon. She then says "18% will be $8.50, so I'll round up for you. $9." I was baffled. I had no words for her when she gave me a pathetic "Have a good one". Now, a few weeks later I have an infection on my big toe!!! Excuse the pictures but it's pretty gnarley and they're lucky I don't go in there and make them pay for all the crap I need to buy to help this nasty infection. A few weeks ago I had a 50 minute prenatal massage with Mark and it was excellent! We spent the first few minutes going over my massage in detail. He is extremely knowledgeable on massage therapy techniques. He was very thorough and followed up with any questions or concerned that I had before he started, and also ensured my upmost comfort even providing extra pillows. My only regret was that the massage wasn't longer! Being 8 months pregnant I pointed out that my lower back and hips are focal pain areas that I wanted him to spend extra attention on. Mark did a great job at ironing out my muscles - I felt amazing afterward! I am looking forward to going back to my next appointment and this time I booked an 80 minute session. I've been coming to Natalie at InSpa for over 10 years and I get compliments on my eyebrows all the time. I have made friends with people because of my eyebrows. People I don't know seriously walk up to me and tell me my eyebrows are perfect and ask me where I get them done. So now the secret's out! I've got all my friends hooked too! If she left I wouldn't know what to do with my life. She's fantastic. The customer service is great too - Emily at the front desk is always so lovely and remembers me. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. I'm shocked that the reviews aren't better, but it looks like they're pretty old! I would also add that not all InSpa locations are this good. I have been frequenting this InSpa for years. And when I say years, I mean YEARS. Like 8-10 years. I've seen this Inspa in 3 different locations within the mall and when they were closed for a few months I reluctantly went to another location (and never had a great experience). Obviously there is one huge reason why I go to this one specifically and that's Natalie. She is the BEST and her waxing skills are unparalleled. I've read a lot about waxing and the pain can be because of different reasons, but one is who does your waxing...well, I can tell you that it isn't a walk in the park, but Natalie really makes it less painful (and gets the job done quick!) than anyone I've ever gone to. She's also a delight to talk to - and I really enjoy hearing about how she's doing, her family, etc. it's an appointment I look forward to every month. Which I don't think a lot of people can say. The front desk staff, specifically Emily, are fantastic. You can go a lot of places for a long time and they don't bother to know your name, but Emily always greets me with a "Hi Amanda!" when I walk in and is very friendly and personable. If I have to last minute change an appointment, they're always understanding and gracious (even though I know it doesn't make their jobs easy!). I've always lived on the east side so this Inspa was the obvious choice, but my husband and I recently purchased a home much further north. That being said, this Inspa won't be losing me as a customer anytime soon! I can't imagine going anywhere else. I really can't recommend this location or Natalie enough! read more

Looks super fancy....you dont even see the actual nail salon. There is an entrance and a waiting area and then you are directed to the actual nail salon. But once you walk in, you notice that they are actually pretty outdated, they do not have the relaxing chairs for pedicure, instead they have to bring portable bowls for your feet. The bowls look outdated and it need of new coloring. Anyhow, that was not the problem, as I was there for a manicure, not a pedi. I went in and asked for an appointment, they told me to come back at 2:45 PM (an hour and a half later). I got there at 2:45 and was not seated until 3:10 and even that was after I asked how much longer I would have to wait. The gel colors are very limited and unlike other salons are not on a pallet to choose from. You just have to look at a limited number of nail polishes and guess what the color must look like on your nails. Chose a color and sat down. I did not have prior gel on my nail, so should have been pretty easy to do. But by the time the lady was done with my prep and was ready to put the gel on my nails, I had a cut at the base of every single nail but two! I KNOW...IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE... A CUT AT THE BASE OF EVERY SINGLE NAIL.... Two weeks later and my nails have all grown out, but the scabs are still at the base of my nails and healing. Apart from the hygiene issues it causes (since they obviously do not disinfect the instruments they use), it was very painful for the first two days, so much so that I had to put a band aid on every nail bed but two. You would think how wrong a manicure can go....this wrong. I am not going to obsess over what kind of bacteria might have been introduced into my blood stream with all the cuts I got, but man....it was a very disappointing, subpar appointment. And it was 50 something bucks (if I am not mistaken). More expensive than any other place I have been to (except for the spas at hotels). I write a ton of reviews and rarely are they one stars. This one however, could easily get zero if I had that option. I wont even talk about the fact that pain residue (which was set under light) was extending beyond my nails and the fact that service was super rushed. Wont even talk about the fact that I got no massage. At the level they were striving for, getting a massage would have been too much....they were charging a lot for it though..... my two cents. read more
