i traveled from out of town, and decided to stop in here around 3:30PM on 9/13/25. i ordered about $60 worth of cookies because I had never had them and wanted to give them a try! Super excited! What an unbelievable let down. I am not kidding when I tell you the cookies were beyond overcooked ... like cracked and crumbled when I bit into them. None of the coloration was consistent. Textures were all different And I ordered 2 of everything because I genuinely wanted to try them all! This was the worst experience I've ever had with the quality of the product. I will never be back to this store location. I would ask for a full refund, but I live over 2 hours away and that's not possible. read more

Sigh. I'm more mad about the fact that I have applied here over 5 times and they hire the person inside over me tonight. The employee told the customers how she didn't want to be there and would close the place early. I got one item and it took over 7 minutes for her to get it. When I received it, it was cold, rock hard, and dry. I couldn't even eat half of my brookie because it was hard as a rock. My roommate could not even break it in half it was that hard. I wouldn't have gotten it but they were out of what I came to get. Only giving 2 stars because my roomate said his sugar cookie was pretty good, but for almost $3 it better be. read more

Unfortunately each time we've visited it has gone downhill. Last night we went around 9pm for dessert. There was a larger group in front of us and it seemed that really slowed things down. We weren't in a hurry so waited. Ordered ice cream and cookie sandwiches. Told the wait was about 3 minutes, no big deal. 10 minutes later I was handed a "sandwich" made of one cook that was so underdone it was just gooey raw dough, which the employee tried to hide by putting that on the bottom of a cup and serving me the "sandwich" in a cup. You should be able to pick up a cookie sandwich and eat it. The employee also forgot? our order multiple times and kept asking what we wanted, despite the fact that we were at that point the only customers there, and he had already rung the order in the computer and charged us. I had walked by several times and finally succumbed to the temptation of an ice cream cookie sandwich. I didn't need the calories, but once I had ice cream and cookie in my mouth I didn't care. We stopped in after a long walk today for a treat & it was so good! We got the ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream & chocolate chip cookies. But you can get any flavors you want. I don't normally like to visit "chain" type establishments but when I was looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth this was the only place that was open. This place has ver minimal street parking in front and honestly I'm not sure where any other parking for the facility would be located. The inside of the facility was nice and clean. I was the only customer in the store so the attendant came out right away to take my order. I never know for sure what I want and sometimes it takes me a hot minute to decide. She appeared to be pretty impatient with my lack of decision making abilities which set me off just a bit considering I was the only person in the store. After deciding what I wanted she got my cookies boxed up, I paid and left. I ended up getting the salted caramel, s'mores, peanut butter cup and confetti cookies. They were warm and gooey and absolutely amazing. My kiddos loved them as well as I did! These are very good cookies and actually stay good for a couple days as we didn't finish them and 2 days later they were still as soft and delicious as they were the day I bought them. My only reason for doing 3 stars is because of the poor attitude of the attendant. Customer service should be a priority at small businesses in my opinion. read more

The shop doesn't have any seating and you have to find street parking so it may be a little challenging if you're not using their delivery service. A short distance from our hotel, our group visited this small store. The store is small with a window seating area with 5 stools. The girl was friendly and helpful, the cookie presentation was easy to see and choose. While everyone enjoyed the cookies, I found my ice cream(moose tracks) tasteless, the only flavor you got was the peanutbutter. The small eating area was taken up by another employee and food bags and trash so no customer could sit there. If your walking by all is good, otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way for their cookies good as they are. read more

Insomnia is amazing! I became attached to them when I went to school at Ball State and when I heard they were coming to Terre Haute I couldn't wait! They have the best warm and gooey cookies and they DELIVER! They are also open until 3 am and are perfect for those late nights studying at the library with friends or as a quick fix on your way back from the bar. You pay up a little but the cookies are huge and totally worth it, and you can almost always find a deal online. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! read more

This is my first time to insomnia cookies here in terre haute and im honestly quite disappointed. My cookies were all quite dry and only slightly warmed. Not like any insomnia cookies ive ever had before. Ive been to insomnia in broadripple plenty of times at all hours of nights and always had bomb cookies, and i was really excited to try the one they just opened closed to us and im just so disappointed. It was only 9:20pm when i went in too! No reason to have unfresh and cold cookies.... I'm very upset with this establishment. I was denied service for not having a mask. I offered to put my shirt over my face and it wasn't good enough. I even stated I was vaccinated and asked if they had any extra masks. The person was very rude and had zero customer service skills. Someone who I would not want to represent my company.
