If you love all things chocolate, this is the place for you. We came here after dinner on Thursday…read morebecause I was craving a brownie and I knew theirs would slap. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the bartender/server. Water and menus were immediately given, as well as some complimentary chocolate chip cookies. Everything on the menu looked so good, but I already knew I wanted the Bailey's brownie. My boyfriend got the banana split. After a short while our desserts arrived and I couldn't wait to dive in. The brownie was the perfect mixture of caramel and chocolate and mixed in with the ice cream was the cherry on top. I relished each bite and my palate was more than satisfied once I finished. In addition to the decadent dessert was the stellar service. Our water was always filled and it was a great experience. I'll def be coming back for my future brownie fix!

Wow. We went in for one if their last nights as it was my friends favorite place…read more We went in end of the evening & we ordered a drink. 5min to close our waiter was hurrying us along. At 5min after close he was outright rude & said to basically get out. I understand we were a few min past closing but that behavior was uncalled for. Unfortunately they are closing so they just didnt care. But they do have other restaurants I no longer want to patronize based on this experience. The drinks were mostly good. Strong & tasty but the service left a bad taste.

Let me start by saying we are traveling in our 28' travel trailer back home to Florida and my…read morehusband insisted we drive through STL to get BBQ. Now I am not a big fan of BBQ, however Bogarts may have changed my opinion. This was absolutely A M A zing! I had the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and Cheese. I added the sweet BBQ sauce to mine....so moist and good. The Hubby had the ribs and pastrami. Now my husband is a grill master and said the ribs were better than his...that is a bold statement coming from him, however I had to agree. If driving through Saint Louie, this place is a must!

I went to the recommended "good" places and walked away disappointed. I happen to be in Soulard one day and noticed Bogart's closed because they sold out. That's a big green flag to me. Not open Sunday and Monday, green flag. Primarily open for lunch, green flag. I just knew I had to check it out. Finally got the opportunity to check it out and boy was it delicious. I got a two meat plate with two sides. I got the tri tip, ribs, baked beans, and deviled potato salad. The deviled egg potato salad taste like it sounds. It taste like potato salad and and deviled egg had a baby. Never seen such a creation but I knew I needed to have it. The baked beans were out of this world!! Top three baked beans I've ever had!! A little smokey, a little sweet, and just the right consistency as far as thickness for me A1 . The ribs by far the best ribs I've had in STL. Very flavorful and tender. The tri tip it was ok. I've never had it shaved before and couldn't really get a good grasp on the flavor. It wasn't bad, just not the way I've had tri tip previously. All of their BBQ sauces were fantastic as well!! My favorite sauce was the pineapple express. Bogart's has restored my faith in STL BBQ. I was a non-believer for some time . HIGHLY recommend

I'd had a Butler's Boardroom lunch in January at a working lunch, and it was refreshingly delightful for a "box" lunch. We fed 8 people for $129, which included a $25 delivery charge. Not bad. Each box lunch ($11) comes with fruit cup, deli-style potato chips and chef's choice dessert (cookies, lemon square, pecan brownie, raspberry bar or gooey butter bar). For $1.25 extra, you can also get a salad: Sicilian pasta salad, dill red potato salad, Thai sesame noodles or Mediterranean salad. Many items were ordered, including: tuna salad on wheat with a dill red potato salad veggie wrap (no avocado) with added provolone Butler's club of smoked turkey, bacon, lettuce and lorraine Swiss on herb ciabatta Cape Cod salad with chicken (cranberry viniagrette on the side) Thai chicken wrap (no carrots, no snow peas) beef tenderloin wrap with a Sicilian pasta salad baby spinach salad (special request for the pecan brownie) You can see the special requests of these orders . . . no avocado, viniagrette on the side, no carrots, no snow peas, pecan brownie. Every order was absolutely perfect per the diner's request. I got the butcher block, smoked turkey, roast top round, ham, salami, Cheddar jack cheese on herb brioche with a Mediterranean salad. This was an incredibly wonderful, huge, fresh sandwich. It came with stone-ground mustard, that was unique . . . couldn't have too much of it. The Mediterranean salad was Kalamata olives, pasta, tomatoes and artichoke hearts in a vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious! I saved my fruit cup and potato chips for later, and gave my dessert away. It was an incredible amount of food. Everybody enjoyed their selections. There was a time when no conversation was occurring . . . that's when everybody was diving into their food! This was a great option!! Every box was clearly labeled, and the ordered salads were in a separate box. Delivery was right on time. Everything was packaged in fabulous recyclable vessels!!

The cheese was real aged cheese. The fruit was fresh. The delicious brownie did not taste store bought. All around it felt like a gourmet lunch.
