If someone orders ice cream from your restaurant, you shouldn't place it on their doorstep without notifying them. Clearly the directions up on ordering was to please knock on the door. Also, my order was placed at 10:18 PM. I did not receive my order until after I called the restaurant at 11:09 PM when the lady that I spoke with notify me that they sat my ice cream and cookies outside and she has a picture of it sitting on the doorstep. No my items weren't even bagged in a plastic bag and tied up. The cookies are in the box in the boxes closed remind you we have creepy crawlers what the heck!!! Two nights in a row I have ordered from them from DoorDash and my orders are over 40 and $30 and they won't even knock on the door. Never again will they get another dollar from me!! Also, when I made the call and I spoke with the lady before I hung up, I said it's not OK that they wouldn't knock on the door when delivering ice cream. I'm not sure if this will be any good if it's not then I'll call and request a refund the lady who answered the phone stated OK thank you. The cashier frustrated me quite a bit. We were very clear about what we wanted. She asked to clarify multiple times. As if she was high. But that's fine as long as you're trying to get it right so we can get what we want. She then gives us all of the wrong cookies. As she filled the thing she kept looking at the receipt (that despite us telling her multiple times what we wanted she still got wrong) and then gave us all of the wrong cookies. I feel like if I'm paying $35 for 8 cookies, I should be receiving the correct cookies. read more

I placed an online order, it was accepted but the store was still closed. They didn't even have a sign on the store to say that they were closed for a few hours or the day or whatever and it was inconvenient trying to get a refund. After waiting for a little bit, he handed me the cookies for free since I had been waiting. Better than Hot box (which is a very low hurdle) we found Insomnia cookies to be too sweet and refined tasting overall. Pretty awesome for college kids who are stoned, though. You can tell the cookies are pre - made and trucked in frozen and that they're cooked with oil instead of real butter - "butter flavor" is included no doubt. I mean it's pretty much the same quality as the cookies from Subway etc We tried almost all the flavors and they're not bad - but certainly not inspired flavors for foodies like us. Try the Uprise Bakery a couple blocks away for something closer to what I'd make at home. read more

Are the cookies amazing? Absolutely. But this review is not about the cookies. I placed an order for delivery to a friend as a congratulations gift. Later on, I had to call back and change the delivery address. The lady was very nice and switched it for me. However later on that night my friend told me the delivery never came. So I called the corporate number and spoke with another lady, who was amazing, and found out there was a miscommunication between the new addresses. The lady who corrected the address for me the final time called the bakery in Columbia and got another order delivered right away! Honestly all the flavors are to die for but are really really rich so if you don't like super rich tasting cookies this place might not be for you. The prices are really high here though. Very unpleased with overall customer service. I placed an order to be delivered to my apartment at 8:30 tonight, here I am at 11 pm and my cookies have still not arrived. My girlfriend and I have tried to call up to the store numerous times and all we've accomplished was the fact I got a coupon for free 6 cookies WITH A PURCHASE OF $6 or more only valid on deliveries. The staff memebers we have talked to on the phone (after over 10 minutes of being put on hold each time) have told us our order was out the door numerous times, yet somehow it still hasn't arrived. read more

Great cookie place! A little pricy, (3.50 for one of the specialty cookies) but still delicious! They have several options to choose from and one "seasonal" cookie that rotates throughout the year. Heck yes. They have cookies and then they have deluxe cookies, which are massive. My husband and I each got an ice cream sandwich -- I got a regular size, chocolate chip with vanilla ice cream, and he got the same thing but in the huge size. It was amazing. The cookies were warm and gooey and of course they were messy. Then we both went home and took a nap. That's how you know it's a good cookie. I LOVE Hot Box Cookies also. For the ice cream sandwiches Insomnia is pricier, but honest to God there's nothing wrong with having two cookie places in town. Now I can eat cookies twice as often. read more

Dishonest! Bought $110 worth of gift cards for Christmas for my student when they returned to school in January discovered there was only about $12 on one card and nothing on the second card. It's inconstant, and if you miss their call and return in less than three minutes they take the cookies back to the store (has happened twice). They say they are going to bring them back and it's been over an hour since they first drove by and still no cookies. McDonalds has great cookies and they are only $4 for a bakers dozen. I love this place better than the other cookie delivery place in town. Their prices are comparable and they have a larger scope of delivery area. We have gotten these a couple of different times and they are fantastic. They are always hot when they are delivered and taste so much better that way. I called customer service and they were extremely rude, saying it was my fault for not answering my phone, when they are supposed to bring it to your door.
