WOW! The Macadamia Nut cookie is to die for! My sister surprised me with a cookie cake on my birthday and I never knew such a thing existed! We went thrice during my visit to Columbia and every time the ice cream spread was generous! Highly recommend! read more

If someone orders ice cream from your restaurant, you shouldn't place it on their doorstep without notifying them. Clearly the directions up on ordering was to please knock on the door. Also, my order was placed at 10:18 PM. I did not receive my order until after I called the restaurant at 11:09 PM when the lady that I spoke with notify me that they sat my ice cream and cookies outside and she has a picture of it sitting on the doorstep. No my items weren't even bagged in a plastic bag and tied up. The cookies are in the box in the boxes closed remind you we have creepy crawlers what the heck!!! Two nights in a row I have ordered from them from DoorDash and my orders are over 40 and $30 and they won't even knock on the door. Never again will they get another dollar from me!! Also, when I made the call and I spoke with the lady before I hung up, I said it's not OK that they wouldn't knock on the door when delivering ice cream. I'm not sure if this will be any good if it's not then I'll call and request a refund the lady who answered the phone stated OK thank you. Have a good night . i'm thinking to myself wow never spoke to someone who cared so less my money spends everywhere. Not just here. It's a good way to run people off.!! read more

Insomnia Cookies - Ice cream and cookies outside no knock on the door.‍‍ - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Columbia, Missouri

Amazing food great location clean store ambiance was wonderful and the people that work there are so kind and patient You've never seen anything like it in a restaurant especially in this day and age read more

i ordered through doordash and although they got my order wrong, i believe her name was becca, did all she could do to make it right. she recompleted the order and got it delivered to me asap. i really appreciate her and her dedication even though it was late at night. thank you so much. this was on thursday 12/17 around 10-11 pm read more

The cashier frustrated me quite a bit. We were very clear about what we wanted. She asked to clarify multiple times. As if she was high. But that's fine as long as you're trying to get it right so we can get what we want. She then gives us all of the wrong cookies. As she filled the thing she kept looking at the receipt (that despite us telling her multiple times what we wanted she still got wrong) and then gave us all of the wrong cookies. I feel like if I'm paying $35 for 8 cookies, I should be receiving the correct cookies. read more

Came in on a weekday evening for a 6 box of cookies. After ordering, the cashier told me that their system was rebooting and he apologized. After waiting for a little bit, he handed me the cookies for free since I had been waiting. I've been to other insomnia locations where they made me wait 10+ min as the only customer in the store for their machines. read more

The customer service is TERRIBLE. If you order three scoops of ice cream they'll send you three little tablespoons for 5 dollars and you better be happy about it. Half our order was missing (got delivery) and it's been hours without resolution. Forget insomnia go to hotbox. Cookies are better there anyways. read more

I placed an online order, it was accepted but the store was still closed. They didn't even have a sign on the store to say that they were closed for a few hours or the day or whatever and it was inconvenient trying to get a refund. Just this particular location though, other than that I love Insomnia. read more

Decided to try out the vegan cookies at this place; I ordered for delivery. The ordering process was smooth and the cookies arrived quickly. I opted for a variety pack with the Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate Chunk. They all taste pretty good. Happy to see another business being mindful of the vegan/gluten-free population. read more

Insomnia cookies offers a wide variety of different flavored cookies. They specialize in you picking a variety of cookies and they package them - I bought half a dozen and they are put in a customized small pizza / take out type cardboard container. Everyone liked the cookies - parking a little tough but staff friendly and efficient. read more

cookies are good but not crazy. the service here was the worst. I went inside to order and the two workers there were some of the most angering people i've ever had to deal with. they literally had airpods in listening to music. they looked like they wanted to kill themselves being there and the girl there had one of the most punchable faces and attitudes i have ever encountered. most likely will not be going back and if i may, offer up some advise to get a new crew. read more

Don't even try delivery. We waited over an hour and a half for our cookies. After contacting Grubhub they refunded our money because no one could reach the store or our delivery driver. Thank god for GrubHub's customer service read more

Highly wouldn't recommend delivery from Insomnia Cookies. Had to cancel after 4 hours of waiting. Then had to argue for over 30 minutes in order to get a refund. Absolutely the worst customer service I've seen, honestly I'm surprised Insomnia cookies is still in business. If you do order for delivery expect nothing to show, this will happen just about every time! read more

Better than Hot box (which is a very low hurdle) we found Insomnia cookies to be too sweet and refined tasting overall. Pretty awesome for college kids who are stoned, though. You can tell the cookies are pre - made and trucked in frozen and that they're cooked with oil instead of real butter - "butter flavor" is included no doubt. I mean it's pretty much the same quality as the cookies from Subway etc We tried almost all the flavors and they're not bad - but certainly not inspired flavors for foodies like us. Try the Uprise Bakery a couple blocks away for something closer to what I'd make at home. read more

Are the cookies amazing? Absolutely. But this review is not about the cookies. I placed an order for delivery to a friend as a congratulations gift. Later on, I had to call back and change the delivery address. The lady was very nice and switched it for me. However later on that night my friend told me the delivery never came. So I called the corporate number and spoke with another lady, who was amazing, and found out there was a miscommunication between the new addresses. The lady who corrected the address for me the final time called the bakery in Columbia and got another order delivered right away! Great customer service both at the bakery in Columbia and at the corporate office. read more

Really really great cookies. The mint chocolate chip is super good and so are the cookie sandwiches. Honestly all the flavors are to die for but are really really rich so if you don't like super rich tasting cookies this place might not be for you. The prices are really high here though. Hours are great. Will be back! read more

Heck yes. They have cookies and then they have deluxe cookies, which are massive. My husband and I each got an ice cream sandwich -- I got a regular size, chocolate chip with vanilla ice cream, and he got the same thing but in the huge size. It was amazing. The cookies were warm and gooey and of course they were messy. Then we both went home and took a nap. That's how you know it's a good cookie. I LOVE Hot Box Cookies also. For the ice cream sandwiches Insomnia is pricier, but honest to God there's nothing wrong with having two cookie places in town. Now I can eat cookies twice as often. read more

Very unpleased with overall customer service. I placed an order to be delivered to my apartment at 8:30 tonight, here I am at 11 pm and my cookies have still not arrived. My girlfriend and I have tried to call up to the store numerous times and all we've accomplished was the fact I got a coupon for free 6 cookies WITH A PURCHASE OF $6 or more only valid on deliveries. The staff memebers we have talked to on the phone (after over 10 minutes of being put on hold each time) have told us our order was out the door numerous times, yet somehow it still hasn't arrived. read more

Great cookie place! A little pricy, (3.50 for one of the specialty cookies) but still delicious! They have several options to choose from and one "seasonal" cookie that rotates throughout the year. Cookie ice cream sandwiches, cookie cakes, and they deliver until 3 AM for the times you're really craving. Overall, nice place. read more

Dishonest! Bought $110 worth of gift cards for Christmas for my student when they returned to school in January discovered there was only about $12 on one card and nothing on the second card. I have spent 3 months trying to resolve this. The semester is almost over. Their solution was a $10 replacement card. They may have good cookies but bad business practices. read more

Ordered a classic six pack through the Insomnia website. Someone shows up at my door from GrubHub with someone else's order? The deliverer was also not masked and was holding the cookie box upside down. He took the order back and I never received my ACTUAL order. When I tried calling, I was put on hold for several minutes until I just gave up. Very frustrating and weird situation. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here. read more

Cookies are great, but unless you go to the store itself the delivery isn't worth it. It's inconstant, and if you miss their call and return in less than three minutes they take the cookies back to the store (has happened twice). They say they are going to bring them back and it's been over an hour since they first drove by and still no cookies. McDonalds has great cookies and they are only $4 for a bakers dozen. Never again. read more

I love this place better than the other cookie delivery place in town. Their prices are comparable and they have a larger scope of delivery area. We have gotten these a couple of different times and they are fantastic. They are always hot when they are delivered and taste so much better that way. My next try is going to be the ice cream sandwich cookies!! Give this place a try. Cookies might be a little more expensive than making them on your own, but the taste is amazing. read more

Ordered online earlier for a 130 delivery since I was at work and its almost 2 and tracker says its baking and still no cookies.... Hoping they arrive soon and they taste better than other cookie places here in town read more

Do NOT ever order delivery! I waited 2 hours for my order, checked the cookie tracker, and it said my order was delivered but I never received it. I called customer service and they were extremely rude, saying it was my fault for not answering my phone, when they are supposed to bring it to your door. My house is not difficult to find, at all, and I have never had an issue before this. Unbelievable! I will not be ordering delivery from Insomnia again. read more

The cookies have been "baking" for two hours smh. They taste delicious so I 10/10 recommend but I'm just a girl who wants fresh hot cookies on a lonely Sunday night. read more
