yogoluv had updated their customer service since the last time i've been there. It used to be like Froyo where you add in all your frozen yogurt and toppings yourself but now it's all done for you. It's also downtown and within a walking distance of a bunch of cute places so it's a nice stop in spot. The frozen yogurt was super good and i've come here multiple times without any issues. However in my boyfriend's cup, he found a hair after a little bit of us eating. That was a little off putting so I feel like if people are going to be serving the froyo, maybe hair nets should be a priority. I am giving the benefit of the doubt that this is a fluke because I really like coming here and it's the only time it's happened, just going to be paying more attention to them making it if I ever decide to come back. read more

Great frozen yogurt. The only thing to complain about is the location itself, it feels not put together and almost not done. It is not very pretty to look at, not sure if they are in the middle of renovating or what's going on. The flavor of ice creams are good. Though not a lot of variety of flavor to choose from. However, due to Covid, you miss out on having to make your own ice cream. Don't know how long that'll be before they let customers handle their ice cream. And with toppings, you have to pay extra for that and you get charged more after 2 toppings. Yogoluv is probably one of the best locally owned frozen yogurt places you can find in Columbia. The owners are really nice and welcoming. The inside is decorated with fun, bright colors and you should definitely try taking a seat in one of those green ball-shaped chairs! They are more comfortable than they look! They have great toppings including my all time fave, mochi! Their mochi is the yummy, squishy kind and not too hard like other places I have been too. Their fruit is always fresh too! I always make sure I get the cheesecake and cappuccino flavors because they are my favorites. Prices aren't too steep unless you plan on eating dinner there for the night, in which case it's a pretty cheap dinner! They charge by the ounce, something like 40 cents or so per an ounce of yogurt/toppings. One of the perks is that you can get a "Yogoluver" card which gives you rewards money every time you buy more Yogoluv. And you don't even have to have the card with you, just remember the phone number you signed up with! All in all, I would definitely recommend Yogoluv to anyone that wants to try out a self-serve frozen yogurt place for the first time! Or, just if you want to skip out on some calories that you can get with frozen custard or what I like to call "full-fat" ice cream (just go easy on those candy toppings)! read more

The yogurt (more like soft ice cream) is okay, not much variety on flavors, but the setting is the worst ever. Tiny little plastic pod chairs that look like they came from a futuristic pre-school form two lines, so you basically sit/squat with your knees at your ears while awkwardly facing the customers across from you. I went here twice, and just decided to eat on the go the second time, rather than sit inside. They do have nice toppings, but now that Red Mango opened a few blocks away, no need to go back here. read more

The flavors and quality of toppings are about average as well, but good enough for me to keep going back once in a while. My favorite place ever. They always change up the flavors and toppings so you don't have to feel bad about going every week (or more). The outside area is heated near the benches so you can sit outside in the winter. They're open late in the summer. And best of all, they have dairy-free and vegan selections!!! And they're delicious!!! Just go - you know you've always wanted to make your own soft-serve sundae with as many toppings as you can dream up, and this is where you do it. Yogoluv provides fatty frozen yogurt under the premise of a healthy treat. They also don't have fresh fruit, which is overall not as good as the other options in town. The owner years ago was so rude and the employees were not much better. I'm in a wheelchair and he kept making excuses when I asked why there was no accessible seating. To this day, years later, there isn't any. I figured if he didn't want the business, I would take it elsewhere. The frozen yogurt is good, but if you need any sort of accommodation, good luck. Yum! Definitely the best place to get froyo (frozen yogurt) in Columbia! It's right next to campus in the heart of Columbia and the employees are always friendly. Though the inside of the business is small (like many Columbia businesses downtown), there is plenty of room outside to eat and people watch. The atmosphere is great and it is a neat part of the college town atmosphere. If you want to be healthy, there is fruit and greek yogurt and if you have a sweet tooth there are lots of options for indulgence. It's delicious! read more

Probably my favorite place to get froyo in town. I tend towards vanilla with other flavors to compliment that, but they do offer a nice variety got people who are more adventurous than I am. Yogoluv, a self-service ( I know this may be a difficult concept for some but I'm from Scotland, you should embrace it) yogurt bar which is a refreshing little nook in downtown Columbia. We love the simplicity, the staff are always really friendly and have a yummy variety of flavours, our favourite being cheesecake. Just because the cup size is large doesn't mean you have to fill it to the top, so at 40cents an oz. we think it's good value for money. The pea-pod seats may not be for everyone, but there is no mandatory requirement for you to sit on them, and how often can you find pea-pod seats to sit on?! The kids also love it, and it's a healthy, nutritious, non-enlarging alternative to other frozen treats. read more
